A byword for quality in the South of Devon, Sampsons is a family owned business offering superb accommodation in 10 ground floor ensuite rooms, surrounding a beautiful medieval thatched farmhouse. Wonderful food, fine wines and peaceful surroundings: the perfect antidote to the stresses of everyday life! Farmhouse breakfasts with our own free range eggs and with such a large selection of rooms we think we have something to suit every pocket. All rooms at Sampsons Farm Hotel have TV's, hot drinks facilities, direct dial telephone and Wi-Fi internet access across the Hotel plus secure private parking. The Teigngrace apartment on the ground floor and Haytor apartment on the first floor are perfect for families with children of all ages. Both apartments have one double and one twin room, kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower, spacious lounge with dining area perfect for room service from our award winning restaurant for family meals together (no stresses with children in restaurants). We are situated in a sleepy hamlet, this thatched farmhouse is only 5 minutes from the A38 (Cornwall) and A380 (Torquay) and therefore within easy reach of Exeter, Torbay and Plymouth. Older than Shakespeare and set in its own grounds, Sampson’s provides a welcome change from the usual anonymous motels and corporate guests always appreciate the difference. Owned by the Bell family for over 35 years, Sampson’s provides the perfect retreat in which to relax and unwind, with inglenook fireplaces and log fires in the winter. Meandering through the meadows, the River Teign makes a beautiful setting for walks just down the lane.

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto B3195/Oakford. Continue to follow B3195. Turn left at B3193/Chudleigh Rd, continue to follow B3193. Go through 1 roundabout. Turn left and your destination will be on the right. M5-A580|Road|2.1|After Exeter, take A380/A38 lane. Shortly after take the A380, Torquay lane. From the A380 take the turn off signposted B3195, Kingsteignton. Pass the Ten Tors Inn on your left, take 2nd right, signposted B3193 to Chudleigh. Approaching the r'bout, take right hand turn, signposted B3193, Chudleigh& Preston. Within 2 minutes, take the small left hand turn off marked by the Brown Sampsons Tourist Sign, a blue plough and a road sign for Preston. Keep left until you arrive.
