Stunning views over the Goyt Valley and the plethora of walking trails that exist in the surrounding area make the Shady Oak a magnet for walkers outdoor pursuit-ists and people who just enjoy the countryside. Whether you're staying in our recently refurbished rooms having a meal or you've just dropped in for a snack or a pint we'll do our very best to look after you. There is a large car park and a room in the bar just for dogs (and their owners) and you are welcome to tap into our wireless internet.
