    Détendez-vous dans une superbe villa de style toscan nichée dans les contreforts de la Chypre, adjacents à la rivière Yermasogeia et le lac. Même s'il est calme, c'est seulement les minutes de la ville et la mer et centralement placé pour visiter Paphos, Larnaca, Nicosie ou les montagnes de Troodos. La villa respire l'élégance et un sentiment de luxe décontracté. Toutes les chambres ont des salles de bains douches. La famille d'accueil est accueillant, convivial et sur la main pour répondre à tous vos besoins. Hormis les impressionnantes installations sur place, la retraite a établi des liens de fournir des cours ou des séances pour répondre à un large éventail d'intérêts.

    The ultimate vacation

    We came to Cyprus for a short honeymoon and could have not chosen a better place than the Villa Retreat to stay at. The view was surreal and the only sound heard was the bird's singing- the ideal conditions for relaxation.Our enormous room was tidy, clean and extremely comfortable, and it seemed like every tiny detail was thought and taken care of. The breakfast was rich and delicious and consisted of the best of Cyprus' flavors. Above all, concerting all those wonderful things was the lovely and kind Toulla who did not spare anything so that we would have a marvelous time. We give our warmest recommendation to the Villa Retreat.

    Paradise in Cyprus

    Toulla and Derek are the perfect hosts. Their warmth and friendliness can only make you feel as if you've come home. Villa Retreat is a jewel house, ensconsed in a small village, in the Cyprus countryside, a mere 15 minutes drive from Limassol city center. The house is magnificent and the bedroom my boyfriend and I were lucky enough to stay in was beautiful (we got the honeymoon suite :-)) Our bedroom was seperated from the main house and we felt free to go as we pleased without disturbing our hosts who, I should add, were always available for a chat or for pointing us in the right direction. Their tips of places to see and restaurants to go to turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. The breakfasts home cooked by Toulla were amazing: continental, british, cold, cooked, basically anything you could think off was available. But my best breakfast memory remains the fresh orange juice and the pancakes! We stayed with Toulla and Derek for 3 nights and deeply regretted leaving... Hopefully, we'll be back one day soon. I should finish by saying that I have never in my life written a review for a B&B or a hotel. Never cared enough I guess. Or "never found the time"... But our stay at Villa Retreat was such that I could write pages of compliments...! If you ever have the chance to go to Cyprus, don't hesitate for a second: book a few nights at Villa Retreat and go meet Toulla & Derek. You won't regret it! Mélanie B.

    100% what we were looking for

    We stayed with Toulla for 6 nights in September. Toulla was so kind to be up at 3 AM to welcome us at her home. The room was beautiful and just perfect : comfortable bed, great shower, a lot of closet space. AC was available, but since it is so quiet there, we just left the window open at night. There is also a fan available, a hairdryer, plenty of fresh towels and an extra blanket. The next morning we saw the house is even more beautiful than we thought. Every morning, I sat on the lounge decking, enjoying the view over the valley, the quiet surroundings and the morning sun on my face, the perfect way to start the day. The garden is very pretty, there are several levels, there’s a pond with fishes and other water elements. There’s an outside bar at the breakfast area. All with a stunning view on the hills. The couryard pool is perfect, you have a lot of sun, but also the shades. The whole house is just beautiful and shows a great taste in architecture and design. Breakfast was our best time of the day thanks to Toulla who takes excellent care of her guests : fresh fruit every day, Greek yoghurt with local honey, orange juice, apple juice, coffee and/or thee, fresh bread, cheese, ... Plenty, fresh and tasty! Since the B&B is not situated in the center of town, you would need to hire a car, but it’s only a 10 minutes drive to Limassol. Limassol and this B&B are located perfectly for daytrips : the Troodos mountains, the sea, Limassol and Paphos are all within an our drive and well worth a visit! Conclusion : we would definitely come back to stay here if we return to Cyprus, we would not consider any other place. Toulla offered us just what we look for when staying at a B&B : we felt completely at home and relaxed, we had all the comfort we need and more in quiet and beautifull surroundings, but still close to several interesting places to visit. Thank you very much Toulla for your hospitality, we wish you and your family the very best!

    Just what we were looking for

    This was our first visit to Cyprus. We were looking for a peaceful B&B away from the busy coastal resorts and Villa Retreat looked as though it could be the place for us. Speaking to Toulla on the phone was enough to convince us and we were not disappointed: a wonderful house in beautiful surroundings, well situated for exploration in all directions, very friendly service and an ideal start to the day with a delicious breakfast on the terrace. A most enjoyable week.

    Aangenaam, verzorgd, supermooi!!!

    Wij verbleven een weekje in een fantastische B&B. het was een super mooi huis (villa), net zoals op de foto's, Toulla is een zeer vriendelijke, gastvrije dame die er alles aan doet om je goed te voelen bij haar. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en zeer verzorgd. Een echte aanrader voor wie een aangenaam verblijf wenst in een rustige omgeving!! T. & B.

    This splendid geusthouse, surrounded by a beautiful garden, was briantlly designed by the owners themselves. I spent in Villa Retreat several peaceful, pleasant days, enjoying the owner's generous and warm hospitality. Unforgettable.

    Nous avons eu un séjour splendide, mais trop court. En quittant on se disait qu'il nous faut absolument revenir dans ce magnifique endroit. La villa est très belle et bien située si l'on veut visiter la partie méridionale de l'île, ou bien si l'on veut seulement du relax on peut profiter de la maison et se sentir chez soi. Les propriétaires sont aimables et très disponibles (ils nous ont bien renseignés sur les sites à visiter, les bons restos du coin et ils nous ont même aidés à pousser notre voiture en panne de batterie). Vivement conseillé.
