The B & B is exquisite! The inn was immaculate, cozy, beautiful and the food, snacks and "extras" were perfect. Josephine and the inn are fantastic. The extra bonus is it is so close to all the water, sights, eateries and shops.

This is such a charming place! We stayed for a weekend and had a great experience. Great location, close to everything... Our room was lovely, extremely clean; Breakfast was just amazing! and Josephine is the best hostess! What else can one ask for? For sure, our place to stay when in Mystic!

Mermaid Inn is exceptional place to stay. Each room is uniquely decorated and has a cozy feel. The breakfasts & snacks are home cooked & delicious! The inn has a perfect location of being in walking distance to the downtown areas shops & restaurants. Once you stay here you will not want to stay anywhere else!

The Mermaid Inn is the B&B you dream of when you book a stay. It is immaculately clean, well-appointed, comfortable, with many "extras" as amenities. Breakfast is a treat every morning. Snacks and drinks available 24/7.

We have just returned from out stay at the Mermaid Inn and it was TREMENDOUS!!! Ww have lived in Connecticut all our lives and have never stayed in or experienced Mystic like we this this weekend... We arrived at the Inn and there was a note from Josephine (the owner) letting is know where our rom was and to make ourselves at home and to call her cell phone if we had any questions or problems. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and very charming. Oh yea, the breakfast each day was unbelieveable, 3 courses of the most amazingly delicious and unique food. As other visitors have stated, it is in a great location withing walking distance to downtown Mystic and also the seaport. We WILL be visiting again and again and again and providing other family members with a gift to the Inn... Thanks Josephine!!!!

Having just returned today from my charming trip to Mystic Seaport, i need to make it quite clear how lovely this B&B is... and im pretty picky, i love b&bs.. the memory is still alive and well in the freshly baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookie i'm devouring right now, which the innkeeper, Josephine, gave me before i left as a road snack.(when does that ever happen?!) She manages to run a quaint, pretty inn in a beautiful home, and serve as full time gourmet chef/baker at the same time. The Inn itself is located only blocks away from all the shops and restaurants, so we walked everywhere with ease... The room was appointed beautifully with one-of-a-kind murals , flat screen tv which didn't interfere with the charm, and a pristine modern bathroom. But oooooooh the breakfasts!!! i am a breakfast fiend, and just the granola that this kitchen- maven makes, is reason enough to go back for. Three course breakfasts which feature entrees like cranberry bog french toast were just amazing... But then as if that's not hospitable enough, you can be sure to find some kind of freshly baked good out for the afternoon to help yourself to, as you saunter by.. So you take a cookie and go sit out on the porch swing and enjoy Mystic ... It's like being in a cozy grandmas home, yet your privacy is respected fully, and Josephine is happy to help with anything you might need... i can't wait to go back.

My stay at the Mermaid Inn was amazing.Absolutely beautiful rooms and immaculately maintained bathroom too.The cookies are to die for-but then you couldn't go back for more,so don't die-just go back!

My wife and I immediately fell in love with the Mermaid! Josephine and Jane provided exceedingly delightful and utterly discreet services. The room was very clean, beatifully decorated and layed out with chocolates and cognac, our favorites. The breakfast was to DIE FOR- we cannot wait to enjoy the roasted pear torte and french toast again. Home made oatmeal cookies and perfect popcorn awaited us after a night of wonderful dining and music. The Inn lies within walking distance of all the towns excellent restaurants and beautiful waterfront attractions. We plan to make this an annual stay!

De-95, prendre sortie 90 vers le centre-ville mystique, sud de la route 27. Des feux de circulation à Restraurant du amis voyage 1,2 milles, au quatrième feu de circulation. Tournez à droite sur la rue des saules et immédiate gauche sur Broadway. Le Mermaid Inn est le coin sur votre droite. Passez l'auberge au panneau d'arrêt et passez à droite sur la rue de l'église. Au prochain panneau d'arrêt aller à droite sur la rue des saules. Environ 1/10e kilomètre de voyage sur notre site sur gravier de stationnement sur la droite.
