Last summer I was on a mission trip to Costa Rica. Due to some confusion, my contact was not at the airport to pick me up when I arrived in Costa Rica at around 9:30 at night. I, an 18-year-old girl on my own with only four years of high school Spanish, was pretty worried, and I didn't know what to do. Then Madeleine, the owner of B&B Madeleine, approached me and very graciously offered her bed and breakfast for the night because her intended guest had not arrived on his plane. She took me to her comfortable and safe-feeling home where I stayed for the night, and in the morning provided me with delicious breakfast, great conversation, and a taxi to the bus station. It was comfortable, affordable, safe, and clean. I highly recommend it.
