    Great location, service! We will be back!

    We very much enjoyed our stay. We checked in thinking we were getting a basic hotel that happened to be close to family and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed at Casa Lima at both the beginning and the end of our trip. The courtyard was amazing, a little oasis in the middle of Pavas! Don Kiko was a blast to play with! Our rental car was safe, there is outdoor parking, it's monitored, we had no issues. We felt secure, our rooms were on the 2nd floor and you needed a key to get to the upper level exterior hallways that lead us to our rooms. Our rooms were adjoining. One with 2 twins and one with a queen. Both had bathrooms, A/C, mini fridge and TV's. We were very comfortable. There was a couple, a single and a 5 year old in our party. The breakfast was great! I always enjoy the typical Costa Rican continental breakfasts, fresh fruit, juices, bread and plenty of coffee!! We will most definitely come back! We found our gem in the city! We stayed in April of 2012.

    je recommande cet hotel a tous les voyageurs qui ont envie de s'immerger de suite dans la gentillesse des Costa Ricains... De plus l'accueil est super, très sympa quand on vient d'arriver après des heures de vol. Le cadre est magnifique car c'est déjà la jungle mais en ville a 2 pas de l'Ambassade Américaine, facile a trouver si vous louez une VL. bon repas, chambre de très bon niveau....

    Cozy, very hospitable

    The staff and owner of Casa Lima are friendly and accommodating. They even loaned us the owner's GPS when we rented a car for a day trip. Between the attentive staff and the two cats, one parrot, capucin monkey and daring squirrel, we always felt at home and entertained. Good location, close to good restaurants and a big shopping center within walking distance.

    Our Family Suites offer the best deal possible for friends and families who like to have larger accommodations and where privacy is important. These rooms have become our most sought after rooms. Family Suites are 2 connecting Standard Rooms equipped with a queen size bed and a full private bathroom in one room, and twin size beds with another full private bathroom in the adjoinging room. Both rooms are equipped with Cable TV. This is a favorite amongst families with children and friends traveling abroad.

    The Honeymoon Suite is by far the best room at Casa Lima!! The large master bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed, 52" Cable TV, VCR, DVD Player, personal sauna, and a state of the art spa/shower with radio and not to mention an oversized private balcony that overlooks the lush tropical courtyard. As you sit on the rocking chair of your private balcony, you will enjoy the tropical plants and flowers that surround you and the sounds of the cascade and birds.

    Tropical retreat in middle of city

    I would recommend Casa Lima. beutiful tropical courtyard gets you in the mood of Costa Rica. Good food, service and people. close to all, especially if you are connecting to Nature Air departures to other parts of the country as it near the Pavas airport.

    A fantastic experience and warm atmosphere!

    My experience in Casa Lima was very good. It was my first time being outside the US for an over night extended stay of over a week. The room I had was nice and comfortable and very clean. The shower was a new experience to get used to, but the shower is typical in Costa Rica and was just fine once you learn how to use it. What really made this an amazing experience was the live animals and a rainforest type atmosphere which was only superceded by the owner and staff. They became friends more than the owner and "hired help". Except for staying at the homes of friends I would choose Casa Lima as a home away from home again. Thank you Casa Lima for a great introduction to Costa Rica.

    The rooms are a bit old & there is no place to put anything, but they are clean & comfortable. The interior of the Casa Lima is hard to describe, you have to see it to appreciate it, so much hard work goes into maintaining such a tropical paradise in the middle of the city. Nelson. the owner/manager is very hospitable, informative, & helpful. The housekeeping ladies do an excellent job & are friendly & will be patient with you if you want to practice your Spanish. Danny also makes the effort to make your stay enjoyable. They have an excellent restaurant with authentic Cuban food & the breakfast will get your day started just fine! And they can provide reliable tours.
