    Nepenthe EST SITUE dans la forêt tropicale qui surplombe le village de El Castillo, LAC ET ARNEAL a la vue la deuxième meilleure la coulée de lave du volcan ARNEAL. Nous sommes à 800 mètres au sud du LINDA VISTA DEL NORTE LODGE ET 30 minutes de la ville de La Fortuna. Il ya plusieurs bons restaurants à proximité dont la maison Linda Vista steak, LE NOUVEAU SODA de Pueblo, LA SERPENTARIO, Rancho Margot, PIZZA LE FAMEUX JOHN'S ET GLACE DANS LA JUNGLE (Jardine Escondido), LA Iguña PERDUS ET LA LOGE OBSERVATOIRE BEST ( FROMAGE AU COSTA RICA) Il ya plusieurs choses à faire que simplement se détendre et apprécier les vues magnifiques. Nous pouvons organiser pour REVENANT A CHEVAL avec un guide local. Le Jardin des Papillons EST vaut bien la visite pour voir toutes les INSECTES, des grenouilles, papillons et de plantes du Costa Rica. LE CIEL ET TRAM CANOPY RIDES LINE ZIP sont très proches et la SERPENTARIO a beaucoup des SERPENTS LOCAL PLUS UN BOA GIANT - TOUS verre derrière. Le lac offre PÊCHE ET embarcations d'excursion.

    a wonderful little paradise

    I did a lot of research on B&Bs in Costa Rica and this one had a few good reviews on Tripadvisor. I was NOT disappointed and would LOVE to go back if the volcano ever becomes active once again. The drive up to the B&B is rocky and at times steep - a vehicle with clearance is definitely recommended. (We never actually turned on the 4x4 function, I doubt it's necessary unless it's the rainy season.) The view once you get to the location is spectacular, and for the price of $85 a night, you can't beat it! The B&B overlooks Lake Arenal and has a wonderful view of the Volcano. It's located close enough to La Fortuna to take advantage of the main attractions around town, but then drive back to your own peaceful, secluded paradise. Agustin, the innkeeper, is very friendly and helpful. He made sure there were two cold beers in our mini fridge to welcome us when we got there. He had good insight on what to do and where to go if you were interested in more off-the-beaten path activities, which my boyfriend and I are. When we wanted to be typical tourists and take advantage of the hot springs around town, he recommended and made us a reservation at Eco Termales, a much less crowded hot spring that was perfect after a long day hiking. For the 3 nights we were there, we woke to a traditional delicious Costa Rican breakfast and strong smooth coffee. After our day out around Arenal, we'd return to soak in the hot tub and listen for the birds and howler monkeys. The rooms are clean and basic and everything we needed. A large shower I was nervous when I saw that there was no air conditioning, but on the first night realized it wasn't necessary because we were high enough on the mountain that the nights were quite cool. I can't recommend this place enough and would love to return on our next trip to Costa Rica.

    • Comment venir à la propriété:
      Voyage à l'Ouest de La Fortuna Arenal vers le lac, le passé Tabacon Hot Springs Resort et, à un «T» dans la route à un petit poste de police. Tournez le lieutenant (Sud) sur la route de gravier et suivre les panneaux de nombreux El Castillo et Linda Vista Steak House. Le prochain «T», juste après le parc national du volcan Arenal. tournez le lieutenant (ouest) à la "Nepenthe" signe, continuer jusqu'à traverser le pont de la rivière, puis tournez à RT. ("Nepenthe") signe. Continuez après l'entrée Linda Vista sur la gauche jusqu'à ce que vous voyez une autre "Nepenthe" signe, tournez le lieutenant-haut sur la colline jusqu'à ce que vous arrivez à Nepenthe. La route de gravier vous mène à travers la jungle forêt tropicale, le long du bord du lac Arneal et le long du pied du volcan Arenal.

    • Comment venir à la propriété:
      Suivez les panneaux routiers / cartes à partir de l'aéroport. Vous voyagerez à travers le nord de San Ramon et diverses autres petites villes jusqu'à La Fortuna. Nous vous recommandons fortement d'une voiture 4 roues motrices, soit privés ou loués. Les 10 derniers km de La Fortuna est une route de gravier, et du népenthès est situé en haut d'El Castillo. En outre, il n'existe pas de transports publics et les taxis sont chers et pas pratique pour se déplacer aux diverses attractions.
