The view from our room was so gorgeous. Never pulled our curtain. We had a minus tide and it was fantastic walking on the beach. Loved our stay

We came for the Romance and Jazz and were treated to an early check in so we could enjoy the private ( almost ). We were met at the door with out first glass of wine. ( The first of many ). The meal was hand prepared all natural with vegan and meat. The local wine was so-so, but I had brought a bottlet of Wenth Nth Degree.. Absolutely magical two days. Katherine and Cal

This was our second time at the Whale Watch first was our honey moon this time was for our fourth anniversary. We had a wonderful time the staff was great with accommodation for my food allergy (wheat) I had a warm gluten free with my breakfast each morning yum! We will definitely be returning to the whale watch inn.

This is really a special place...the private hot tub was exactly what was needed. great beach, great views. the whale watching room is incredible. what is there not to like? SFers who LOVE Mendocino.

Whale watch inn is awesome. The views sounds and property are absolutely breath taking. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.

We've stayed at Whale Watch for a number of years. Each time is better than the last. We love all the little touches provided, the privacy, comfort and seclusion. Thank you for making our stay so lovely.

A spectacular location and view from room. A great location to base a weekend from. Reserved room had hot water problems they us upgraded to the bath suite at no additional charge.....nice! Rooms are a bit dated style-wise, but in very good condition. Breakfast is really good and is brought to your room. Stayed two nights and we would go back. Saw whales on third day!

This place is absolutely fantastic. We loved the comfy old age decor and the quietness of the surroundings, the sound of the ocean and the wonderful breakfast. The staff was super duper helpful, except this one lady who constantly tried to make things non-ideal. We had an excellent get-away. This is a must visit.
