  • This community deck is available to all guests. It is a popular spot for grilling, evening dining, and star watching at its finest,along with viewing meteorites in the August sky.
    The area on the right is the deck and private entrance for the Country Rose room. This room also has easy access to the grill on the community deck and to the swimming pool.
    This is the large deck and private entrance to the Red Rose room. The views from the deck and from inside the room are simply inspiring.
    Very refreshing and relaxing!
    These are the first guests to stay in our accommodations. In the middle is our grandson, who helped negotiate Google Earth for China, and Japan. As new innkeepers, we welcome you to help us launch our new bed and breakfast. Although we have had visitors since from Germany, Russia, the Netherlands, India, Switzerland (our first paying guests), and many other counties, we are still excited every time we can sit down at breakfast, visit, and learn. A magician from he UK taught us a thing or two! Thanks Paul! And we had three Google employees in two weeks. By the way, those of you coming from the Bay area should add about two hours to your ETA...
    We are one of the closest bed and breakfasts to this marvelous view in Yosemite National Park.

    As a new owner of A Bed of Roses b&b, I am so happy to provide lodging that offers a peaceful gateway to Yosemite and all of its wonders.
    The convenient location of our bed and breakfast allows easy access to Yosemite National Park.
    As the other new owner, I always recommend a visit to Glacier Point. I also recommend our quiet setting, so close to the South Gate of Yosemite, as alternative to a traditional hotel. Mariposa Grove is just minutes away.
    This is an area that all guests can enjoy.
Brochures, maps, restaurant menus, information on Yosemite, national forests, water sports, golf coarses, hiking trails, horseback riding, Sugar Pine Railroad, local shops and other local attractions are now filling the information table. And there is a viewing area to watch big sports events together. Go 49ers!
    A full, satisfying, healthy breakfast is included in the price of the room. Guests have been pleased with the service and hospitality. Our featured dish is a fruit tray. You will not leave hungry. We model one of our breakfasts after our favorite breakfast in Amsterdam - eggs, meat, cheeses, choice of breads, yogurt, orange juice, strong coffee, an assortment of teas, organic fruit preserves, great views, wonderful conversation, and a second helping of anything...

    Through the door in the Country Rose room, with a Queen bed, is the Jacuzzi tub. This room also has a private entrance and a deck.
    The Red Rose room, which sleeps four, has it all - a California King bed, a double futon, recliners, double sinks, shower and jetted tub, private entrance and deck, large closet, refrigerator, Wi-Fi, TV, iPhone charger, overhead fan, air conditioning, electric fireplace heater, chest-of-drawers, and enough space to gather family members from other rooms.     You can even enjoy nature above the curtains in the Garden Rose bathroom. All of our rooms have attached bathrooms, Wi-Fi, TVs, directv, DVD players, iPhone chargers, refrigerators,and free parking.
    The Garden Rose is a bright room featuring nine windows which provide a panoramic view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.If you do not sleep too late, sunrise is an exciting time of day. You can wake up in a shower with a view. A California King bed and a comfortable double futon sleep four, with room for luggage in a mirrored closet. We are told this is also a great room for napping, which we call it a Sierra Siesta. And the Keurig coffee maker is just around the corner for when you wake up...This room is a favorite of many.
    This is the jetted tub in the Wild Rose room. With a sky light above and adjustable lighting in this area, our guests find this very relaxing. Three of our rooms have jetted tubs.
    The Wild Rose room features a jetted tub, overhead fan, easy access to the breakfast table, a Queen bed, closet,jetted tub, TV, directv, DVD player, iPhone charger, Wi-Fi,and a purple decor celebrating the creativity of the previous owners.
    This is a spring-time view from our driveway. By the way, there is free parking and room for an RV, trailer, or boat on the grounds. Bass Lake is only 5 miles away.
    The stove heats our community room nicely. So you can come in the cooler months and enjoy seasonal rates. What about a honeymoon, family reunion (our house sleeps 12), or intimate wedding? How about an extended stay to just relax in this peaceful environment? Nearby hiking, ice skating, snow play areas, movie theater, snow shoeing, and family restaurants make this a great family holiday getaway area. Relatives visiting for the holidays will be glad they came and so will you! A room in our b and b could be their pesent. And we mean it - Peace - Shalom!
    Keurig machine sure makes a good cup of coffee. If you are in the area, give us a call and we will brew you one, whether you stay with us or not...

    Steve and Mary Kay are great hosts and serve a terrific, abundant breakfast at their b and b which is only a few miles from gorgeous Yosemite National Park. If you're visiting Yosemite I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Tom and Mary Higginsville, MO

    We stayed one night in the Red Rose room and loved it. The room was clean and beautiful and I especially loved the electric fire place and jacuzzi tub. Steve and Mary Kay were wonderful hosts and we cant wait to go back this fall and stay in the Garden Rose room.

    We stayed for two nights during the summer. Mary Kay ans Steve are wonderfull people who take excellent care of their guests. They serve a lovely breakfast and they can give great tips about the park. The view from our room was outstanding!! We would definitively recommend staying here!

    We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the Red Rose Room, which was beautiful! Loved the huge comfy bed, the jacuzzi tub, and the comfy recliner chairs. Room was spotless! Enjoyed lovely views of freshly fallen snow and warm conversation with Steve and Mary Kay during our yummy breakfast of pumpkin pancakes, poached eggs, and fruit. Just wish we could have stayed longer! We can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!

    Mary und Steve haben uns sehr herzlich willkommen aufgenommen, Tipps für den Park, gute Restaurants (Mexikaner El Cid) und Wandermöglichkeiten empfohlen und uns mit einem überschwänglich reichen Frühstück verwöhnt. Wir hatten das in lila gehaltene 'wild rose' Zimmer mit Wirlpool und aufgemalenen Sternenhimmel. Perfekte Heizung (wir waren im Dezember 2012 dort), grandiose Aussicht auf verschneite Winterlandschaft, sauber und gepflegte Inneneinrichtung und natürlich die nahe Lage zum Yosemite Park sprechen für sich.     Kind and accommodating hosts. Beautiful room...The Garden Rose. Great shower ( hey, that's important to me!). Lovely setting. Delicious food. I will be back...the short distance from Fresno makes this an ideal quick get-away. I think I'll try The Red Rose room next time...

    Good times AND close to Yosemite !

    We had a lovely time in the Country Rose... Not only were the communications with Mary Kay answered quickly, but my last minute reservation was handled with Grace. The property was beautiful and Steven and Mary Kay were both very kind, easy to talk to, and willing to help at every turn. I highly recommend staying with them if you're anywhere near the southern tip of Yosemite; it was easy access in and out of the park with a short drive into Oakhurst for any number of stores/shoppes. Thanks again Mary Kay and Steven
