Hoped for more
sur juillet 10, 2015
This is a beautiful inn with great hospitality but I would have wished for a little more. Coffee in the room, and a hot breakfast rather than cereal and muffins was what I expected. Also, we had a problem with the comforter which gave my husband an extreme case of hives, so we were forced to leave a day early. We have hopes that we can use this night again, and it will be a better experience.
Lovely, beautiful, comfortable, thoughtful

The Seal Cove Inn was a perfect place to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The location is phenomenal... just a really short walk to the Fitzgerald Marine Preserve, where you can go to explore low tide pools filled with marine life, and Seal Cove Beach, which is FILLED with seals. It's also a short walk to the Moss Beach Distillery. We had a lot of fun sitting on their patio with drinks while watching the bay, petting cute dogs, and playing a board game (which we brought). A short drive takes you to the harbor, where you can kayak with the seals, leopard sharks, jellyfish, and bat rays. It's pretty magical.
Beyond the location, the Inn is stylish and yet really comfortable, with gorgeous gardens that are filled with rabbits. Kevin made sure we always had anything we needed, answered all of our questions, and served us delicious breakfasts. We never made it to the evening wine chats, but I highly recommend the afternoon cookies! Best chocolate chip cookies I've had in a long time.
We'd definitely return. Thanks for a great stay.
Quaint and Quiet

If you want a nice quiet place away from the crowds, this is the place. You can walk to the beach to see the harbor seals and further down the reserve. A good place to just relax. Will go again.
Great place for a weekend get away

Charming and Private, with Beautiful Gardens

The hotel is truly a Bed and Breakfast, with more charm and warmth that you can expect.
The inn is spotless, the three course breakfast is delicious. Small plates and wine in the evening before venturing out for dinner , an evening stroll on the beach or just relaxing in the wonderful garden and patio adds a special touch to your stay. The hotel hostess on duty was very attentive and the owners where warm, friendly and made you fell welcome and at home.
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR FIRST YEAR!! and wishing you the best in the coming year

My wife and I love this place! It is a perfect escape from Silicon Valley. The property is beautiful and the location is ideal with walking distance to the marine preserve and seal watching. We always use the bikes Seal Cove has available for a nice ride into town. The staff is always pleasant- especially Maya. We love both the happy hour and breakfasts. Looking forward to our next visit!

We only stayed one night on our way to our main destination. We were in and out quickly and did not spend much time there.
Beautiful Location !!

We stayed 2 nights in a lower garden patio room #3. Seal Cove Inn is a beautiful inn, and in a beautiful location. It has pretty views of the garden where we saw bunnies and quails, and the groves. We were greeted by Mia, who was a very pleasant hostess:).
The rooms could use some updates, adding some color with the drapes, bedding, update the mustard yellow headboard, new carpet, or no carpet would be nice, just some refreshing, bed was too hard could use a better pillow top, and the tv was too small. Would be nice to have a coffee pot in the room, an ice machine in a common area for guests, and more art work on walls.
Breakfast was gourmet, and pretty good. It would be nice if they offered breakfast delivered to your room, instead of all having to go into dining room between 8:30-10:00. Also, it would be great if they offered wine, and horderves between 5-7 like the other bed and breakfast inns.
It was our 24th wedding anniversary, there was a nice note from the inn placed in front of 2 bottles of seal cove inn water........a bottle of wine would of been nice :).
We would definitely go back to the Seal Cove Inn !!
Absolutely Gorgeous B&B - Didn't Want To Leave

This place is immaculate and amazing. We arrived late and the staff had a welcome package for us at the door. We happily made our way to our luxurious room and then to explore the gorgeous grounds. WOW! We were able to enjoy the flowering gardens a bit before the sun set and we were just in awe. It's a peaceful haven and so close to the ocean. After a delicious self-serve breakfast in the morning, we went down to the marine reserve for a walk and to explore the tide-pools. What fun! We wished we could have stayed much longer at this peaceful retreat.
The only negative was that the lady at the front desk in the morning didn't seem to enjoy her job much. At other B&B's we've stayed at, the hosts have been inquisitive and bubbly. That was not the case here, but we still enjoyed our time so much.

After lots of research, I chose Seal Cove Inn for a short get away with my mother, and I am happy I did. Driving into the grounds of the Inn we were very plased with the secluded and charming Inn. The grounds and building are lovely - old world styling by the sea how can it get better?
Seal Cove In met my expectations overall. I did exepect a lovely experience and was not disappointed.
Our room was spacious, a bit understated in terms of decor, but very nice. The view out of our balcony was what we came for - overlooking the backcourtyard and onto the forest of cypress was breathtaking.
We enjoyed the special touches; a bottle of wine in the in-room fridge and the fireplace ready to go for a cozy fire.
The only part of the experience that was not on par was the breakfast. Unlike the generous and plentiful evening treats of fresh artichoke dip, cheese and breads, the breakfast was scant and not well hosted. When we arrived downstairs for our breakfast, along with another couple, it was awkward because there was not enough food left in serving dishes for us and no host/hotess there to greet us or let us know they would be serving more. More food was eventually brought out - and it was good - but the breakfast service in general could be improved.
I will go back to Seal Cove Inn, this time for two nights. I am also now interested in visiting other Four Sisters Inn locations.
