    Located a few miles from Santa Cruz, Fairview Manor offers a peaceful retreat from the outside world. Each of the Inn's (circa 1924) five guest rooms are appointed with antiques; a private bathroom with Gilchrist & Soames toiletries and sitting area. Some rooms are suitable as family suites. Relax in the large common area with a RiverRock fireplace or the back porch listening to the San Lorenzo River. Whether you come to the Santa Cruz Mountains for the outdoor activity of hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, kayaking or perhaps wine tasting, there is something for everyone. At the Inn we have numerous areas to just sit, talk, knit, read or nap under the redwoods or beside the waterfall in the pond!

    Best place around!

    This is the best place in the area! I have gone to an annual event near Felton for many years and I have stayed in almost every place on highway nine from Felton to Boulder Creek. I can say that Gael runs the best place around. We stayed there for the second time this year and we were saying "This place is just sooo cute! Can we just live here?"

    Just like coming home! Cozy B&B. Gael even remembered what they had served me for breakfast the last time and presented us with a new and wonderful dish. Kudos for the Celtic Bake and scones.

    Staying at Fairview Manor is like staying with a favorite relative - one who happens to make the most outstanding breakfasts you've ever eaten! We stayed with Gael and Jack for 3 nights, and didn't want to go home when it was time to check out. They were so warm and friendly and incredibly accommodating... Their delicious & unique breakfasts were a new surprise every morning. The Hawaiian Princess room was very clean and cozy, with a comfortable queen bed. Wine was available in the dining room at all times, as well as a little fridge stocked with water and sodas. The common room was great to lounge around and read or just hang out in. We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay. This is our new favorite B&B and we will happily recommend it to all our friends and family. ~Jamie & Ingo

    A Romantic Getaway

    Everything about our stay was wonderful! The Inn and surroundings were beautiful and the food was delicious! The atmosphere is so peaceful that it is now our favorite romantic getaway and it doesn't even take long to get there from the SF Bay Area!

    Terrific Get-away destination!

    My husband & I escape to the Santa Cruz Mountains at least once a year and have found a wonderful place to escape to at Fairview Manor B & B. Lots to do & nothing to do - our choice! Gael & Jack are fun people to hang with and we shared stories back & forth for a couple of hours over iced tea on the back deck with them on our trip there last month. Their morning breakfasts are fabulous and there's good eats in the area, as well. Highly recommend this B & B to anyone headed for the "California Experience." You will not be disappointed.
