  • For a century, Nelson House B & B has overlooked its handsome garden, tree-lined street and mountain views.
    Seule une partie de la suite de Shangri-La. Un coup d'oeil à la salle de bain privée avec jacuzzi et porte sur le pont. L'espace à aire ouverte a également SGL. Bed & un bureau à l'autre bout de la pièce. Un salon des centres centrale sur la cheminée à gaz, TV / DVD / VCR. Aussi un bar, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur et cafetière.
    La salle de cabine. C'est un poêle de chauffage électrique-flamme. Motif de Canadiana partout avec une fresque murale peinte et personnalisée des vitraux de la salle de bain attenante. TV / DVD / VCR pour votre plaisir.
    Notre salle de Hollywood donne sur le jardin ensoleillé. Meublé avec un fauteuil confortable, 1940, art-déco de vanité et deux armoires. Chic salle de bain attenante dispose de douche en verre, la brique de verre, raccords en laiton et mur de briques apparentes. Frigo-bar, TV / DVD / VCR pour votre plaisir.
    Pour les romantiques Raj, notre chambre spacieuse Bombay caractéristiques fauteuils victoriens, touche tropicaux comme l'osier, le bambou ventilateur et les frais généraux, les détails architecturaux période, les vitraux d'origine, une baie vitrée et une salle de bain attenante avec l'antiquité clawfoot baignoire et douche. TV / DVD / VCR & Internet sans fil sont cachées pour ne pas gâcher l'ambiance. Ai-je mentionné le grand lit avec moustiquaire?
    Notre salle de Vienne donne sur le jardin et dispose d'un lit en laiton antique européenne, d'un bureau en acajou, la vanité et rockers. Un meuble-lavabo allumée est dans la salle et la hallbath est partagée avec une autre chambre.
    Notre B & B jardin est très admiré par les passants.
    Notre salle à manger ensoleillée vous accueille pour le café du matin, un buffet libre-service avant neuf heures, et un canadien complet, petit déjeuner chaud à tout moment entre 9 et 10h30. La conversation est garanti d'être amical et amusant.

    A great stay at Nelson House

    My husband and I stayed at Nelson House for 2 days before heading out on a cruise. We loved it there and would definitely come back to stay there again. The house is adorable, the room was very nicely decorated and very comfortable. There was plenty of seating inside the room, but also a nice little couch in the hallway. The room had a great view of the garden. We had a shared bath, but never even ran into the other people we were sharing it with. The best thing about this B&B is the atmosphere. We really enjoyed the communal breakfast (which was delicious and had a very family style feel to it) and chatting with the host (Bazil, who is amazing). There was a great write up of restaurants in the room, and Baz was able to recommend a few others. He also was able to provide us with tips on what to do, how to get around (Aquabus!) and even gave us coupons to restaurants and bike rentals. We location is fantastic. We didn't have a car with us and didn't have any trouble getting by just walking. The B&B is on a private neighborhood street, but just several blocks away is a large street full of shops, and just a little further down is the beautiful Stanley Park.

    I’ve stayed in lots of B&Bs in the USA but this was my first experience here at home on the West Coast of Canada. And it was so WONDERFUL - now I’m wondering why I bother traveling away for holidays. I stayed in the Sailor’s room, which is one of the 2 rooms that has a private deck and it was VERY private. The weather was horrible but the deck is so beautifully protected with comfy cushions on the chair and a roof overhead that it was still very enjoyable to sit outside for a spell. I found it really convenient having the option of a morning check-in, too – dropped off my stuff about 10 AM and headed out for my day. They offer a continental breakfast for early risers followed by the full cooked breakfast at 9, but I had had a very late night gig and didn’t do the early thing, so my breakfast ended up being what other B&Bs where I’ve stayed would call a “3 courser”: home-made granola with raspberry yogurt and fresh blackberries & raspberries, a sumptuous basket of fresh baked goodies – I had the cinnamon roll, followed by a ham & swiss omelet with a side of fresh oranges. The bath counts as “shared” but the other room wasn’t occupied that would normally share which meant it was actually private for me. There’s a sink in the room and the 3-piece bathroom is literally right outside the door. Nelson House is located in a very quiet residential pocket of Downtown Vancouver and just a few blocks from the thick of the action if one chooses to seek out the happenings. All in all, a very pleasant experience and one I look forward to repeating in the near future!
