    A great find in Tucson

    I stayed for several days in April while visiting my daughter at the U. of A. The room and bathroom were cozy and well-appointed, with a very comfortable queen bed (I have a bad back, so I noticed). The little garden out back was sweet; I went there to read and do yoga, and felt perfectly content. The food was quite good: freshly cooked and plentiful. In addition, the sisters kept a little fridge in the room stocked with goodies, not to mention full candy bowls throughout the house. The hosts and their pets were the extra bonuses of my stay. I totally enjoyed our conversations. I found them quite knowledgeable about the local history and attractions, not to mention any number of other subjects (Eileen is an avid quilter). And the pets were a delight. If you like to keep to yourself, this may not be the best accommodation for you. But if you relish meeting interesting, friendly folks and mingling with dogs and cats, this is the place for you. —T.S., Irvington, New York

    We spent two wonderful nights at the Sonoran Respite. The room was very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfasts were outstanding, but we especially enjoyed the company of the hosts and their pets! Overall, a very welcoming stay. Highly recommended!

    Best value in Tucson

    This lovely, European style B&B is without question the best value in Tucson. A very pleasant room, nicely decorated, with all the little details that make staying in a B&B so wonderful. Our breakfast was delicious on both mornings, excellent coffee as well. The room has it's own private entrance and private bath; the bed is comfortable and the room clean, the shower a very nice tile with plenty of room. The hosts are as generous and kind as you could want.
