The sunflower room has a twin (trundle) bed with a shared bath down the hallway. Perfect for retreating away from your busy world, you can read, write and rest to your heart's delight in the deep quiet of the Lodge.Decorated to represent our neighboring mountain state to the north. With a handsome iron queen bed, a hand woven rug and a handmade quilt; private bath This room reflects the western cowboy heritage of the Rocky Mountains. Maximum Occupancy: 2.
The Canyon Echoes room has a queen bed and private bath with shower. Hand painted art graces the walls and inspires cozy retreating.The Mountain Park is open all four seasons and is an ideal place to snowshoe or cross country ski when the conditions are frosty. We also have snowshoe rentals. Come and experience a weekend getaway in during the cold season.
A short drive from Denver, Beulah is like stepping into another time. The days are slow and quiet at the Mountain Park Environmental Center and provide a memorable outdoor experience for visitors.If you love historic buildings and renovation and new sustainable systems then you will love what has been done to this WPA 1930's 14,000 sq foot lodge. It's an amazing example of an eco re-do in spite of many challenges. Come stay and hear the stories and get inspired.
If you love to walk - trails or open spaces - then come and stay and experience the deep quiet that southern colorado offers you within a short drive of Denver. We have 6.5 miles of groomed trails and National Forest land to wander around on too.We welcome well behaved supervised children and our queen over queen hand hewn bunks are fun to sleep in. Or this room - The Trail Lovers' - is also great for 2 people who want to share a room but want sleeping privacy. Everything is warm, cozy and welcoming at MPEC with cozy bedding, clean and adorned with beautiful art and special details that will delight the eye.
The Pavilion is another of our historic buildings where you can gather a larger group for meals and special events.
