The Doyle Room was named after the first owner of this home. In 1911 William Earle (known as Earle) Doyle and his wife Neil built the home. William Earle was the son of James Hogan Doyle who was one of the early prominent figures in Granbury and was one of the founders of the First National Bank that is located in the town square.

The Doyle Room is a cozy hideaway framed by beautiful bay windows original to this 100 year old home. It has been lovingly decorated in green and gold with birds and period antiques. Come step back in time in the Archer Room. In 1918, the house was purchased by J. (Joel) Archer, a prominent figure in early Granbury history. The Archer family was involved in education and business around the area and some were merchants on the Square. They lived in the home until 1972.
