Beachview Retreat Heart Healthy Granola: Breakfast-Brunch

Prep time:30 minutes

Step 1:

Mix the following: 1 1/2 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup of each of the following: - sliced almonds - broken walnut meats - chopped pecans - sesame seeds - wheat germ - shredded coconut - unsalted raw sunflower seeds

Step 2:

Mix well with: 1/2 cup sunflower oil 1/2 cup honey Spread out onto two large cookie sheets and bake in 350F oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown stirring twice during baking.

Step 3:

When fully cool, stir in 1/2 cup of each of the following (and, you can choose your 3 dried fruits): - dried cranberries - raisins - currents

Step 4:

Store in air tight container and serve with fresh fruit and plain, organic yoghurt. Enjoy! Subsitute dried fruit with additional nuts added before baking (macadamia, cashews etc.)
