Bridgewater Egg Casserole: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • 4 Eggs

  • 1/4 lb Sage Sausage

  • 3/4 cup Milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon Dry Mustard

  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/2 cup Sharp Cheese

  • pinch Fresh Basil, Oregano, Italian Parsley

  • 1 3/4 Hamburger Buns

Step 1:

Spray Pam in a small casserole or quiche dish. Break up Hamburger Buns into tiny pieces and place them into the bottom of the casserole dish

Step 2:

Fry sausage. Drain. Place sausage on top of bun pieces. Place cheese on top of sausage.

Step 3:

Break four eggs into a bowl. Beat with whisk. Add milk, mustard, salt, and herbs. Pour egg mixture over the bread, sausage,and cheese in the casserole dish

Step 4:

Bake in 350 degree oven for 25-38 minutes, depending on depth of bowl and heat variance of oven. The casserole will puff and rise like a souffle. Remove when golden brown. Do not overcook. Egg mixture will continue to cook after removal from oven.
