Orange Oatmeal Cookies: Dessert

Ingredients:

• 

  2 cups Flour

• 

  2 cups Sugar

• 

  4 teaspoons Baking Powder

• 

  1 teaspoon Salt

• 

  1 teaspoon Nutmeg

• 

  1 cup Shortening

• 

  2 Eggs

• 

  4 tablespoons Orange Peel

• 

  2 tablespoons Orange Juice

• 

• 

• 

  3 cups Rolled Oats

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2:

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.

Step 3:

Add Shortening, eggs, rind and juice. Blend well.

Step 4:

Stir in Oats.

Step 5:

Drop onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 12-15 min. till done.
