Apple Cinnamon French Toast: Breakfast-Brunch

1 cup Brown Sugar
8 tablespoons Butter
3 Granny Smith Apples
1 Loaf of Sliced French Bread
1 1/2 Milk
3 tablespoons Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Vanilla
Melt the butter by putting it a microwavable safe dish and cook for 25 seconds. Pour the melted butter in a 13x9 casserole dish. Add the brown sugar and lightly whish until entire bottom of the dish is covered.
Slice apples in wedges and place them neatly in a row on top of the butter/brown sugar mix. This will caramelize once its baked.
Mix milk, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
Dip the sliced french bread completely (both sides) in the mix and place neatly over the apples. Cover with foil.
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. This can also be prepped the night before, covered with foil, refrigerated and baked in the morning.
