Cook bacon until crisp, roughly chop into pieces and set aside.
Boil water in large stockpot with oil. Add linguine cook until just tender Drain noodles, and cover with lid to keep hot
In a large bowl beat eggs, and add half and half, and Parmesan cheese. Pour mixture into a large skillet stirring constantly until resembling very soft cooked scrambled eggs (Do not over cook. Mixture will finish cooking in next step).
Immediately pour egg mixture over hot linguine and add chopped bacon. Toss gently and add salt and pepper to taste.
