Snow Muffins: Bread

Prep time:10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour

  • 1 cup Lightly Packed Brown Sugar

  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • 3 tablespoons Margarine, Melted

  • 1 cup Milk

  • 1 1/2 cups Snow

  • 3/4 cup Raisins or Currants

Step 1:

Pre-heat oven to 375 F. 12-cup muffin pan, greased

Step 2:

In a bowl combine Flour, Brown Sugar, Baking Powder & Salt; Mix well.

Step 3:

Add Melted Margarine and Milk. Mixture will be lumpy.

Step 4:

Quickly add Snow & Raisins/Currants; stir just until blended.

Step 5:

Spoon batter into muffin pan, dividing evenly. Bake 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
