Lazy T Ganola: Breakfast-Brunch
Prep time:30 minutes
3 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup coconut (optional)
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup canola oil
1 cup dried cranberries (or any dried fruit)
1/2 cup dried banana chips (optional)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Stir together oats, almonds, coconut, honey and oil in a large bowl. Hint: put oil in measuring cup and then add honey. It will pour out easily.
Spread in baking pan and bake until oats are golden. (about 20-25 minutes) Stir every 10 minutes to prevent sticking.
Remove from oven, let cool, then stir in cranberries and banana chips. Store in airtight container.
Good for breakfast or as a snack just to munch on. Enjoy!
