Chocolate Crinkle Cookies: Appetizer-Snack

Ingredients:

• 

  4 oz Unsweeted chocolate (high quality)

• 

  1/2 stick butter

• 

  4 eggs

• 

  2 cup granulated sugar

• 

  1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 

  1/4 teaspoon salt

• 

  1/2 cup cocoa powder

• 

  1 1/2 cup chocolate chips

• 

  1 1/2 cup flour

• 

  1 teaspoon baking powder

• 

  confectioners sugar

Step 1:

Melt together unsweetened chocolate and butter in a double boiler and let cool. Mix in the rest of the ingredients (except confectioners’ sugar) and refrigerate until dough is firm

Step 2:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop out balls of dough and roll each in confectioners sugar.

Step 3:

Bake on a parchment lined sheet pan for approx. 17 minutes
