Turkey Tetrazzinni: Main Dish

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups dry spaghetti (broken in 2" pieces)

  • 4 oz mushrooms (cut up)

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 3 tablespoons chopped onion

  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt

  • 1 can ( 10 3/4 oz.) cream of chicken soup

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 tablespoons chopped pimento

  • 2 cups cubed turkey

  • Cheese for topping (velveeta, chedddar, parmesan)

Step 1:

Cook spaghetti until tender, drain, rinse in hot water. Drain mushrooms and save liquid. Melt butter, saute onions--add seasonings and mushroom liquid. Blend in soup, add milk gradually. Put everything in drained spaghetti and mix well. Place in buttered casserole and top with cheese. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until slightly brown top.
