Breakfast S'mores

Ingrédients

  • 2 cups Graham Flour, we use Bob's Red Mill
  • 4 tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons Mild Honey-such as clover
  • 3 tablespoons Good Quality Vanilla Extract
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 16 Roasted Marshmallows-Homemade are Awesome!
  • 1 Or, Jar of Marshmallow Fluff
  • 2-4 oz Favorite Chocolate Bar or Chopped Chocolate per serving

  1. In a large bowl mix first 6 dry ingredients thoroughly.
  2. In a second bowl, beat the eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and honey together until they are light and fluffy. Blend in the melted butter. Take about only 20 seconds and blend the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Don't over do it! This batter is like muffin batter; a light hand in mixing means a light waffle or pancake on the plate.
  3. Make waffles according to your waffle maker’s instructions. This batter also works great as pancakes. Remove the waffle from the iron and immediately top with your favorite chocolate bar and marshmallow of choice. We roast our marshmallows at the same time as we start the waffles; this way the hot waffles and gooey marshmallows meld with the chocolate. Pick up and enjoy!
  4. This recipe can easily be doubled.
  5. Trust us on the amount of flavoring in this recipe! We painstakingly research and tested until we created a "Graham Cracker" waffle. If this recipe is not sweet enough for you, serve with Pure Maple Syrup and/or sprinkle the top with cinnamon-sugar!
