Granola

Ingrédients

  • 10 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup rye flour
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 cups Walnuts
  • 1 cup Canola Oil
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups dried fruit

  1. Mix dry ingredients together (not the dried fruit)
  2. Mix the oil, honey and vanilla extract together and then add to the dry indredients mixing well.
  3. Spread mixture on 2 half sheet baking pans. Put in preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes take a spatula and flip the granola, bringing the edges to the center and spread evenly. Put back into the oven for another 20 minutes. Check the granola to see if it is as toasted as you like. At this point it will burn quickly so only put it back in for another 10 minutes if necessary.
  4. Take out of oven and immediatly put in large bowl and mix in the dried fruit. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks if it lasts that long.
