French Toast ala Caroll: Breakfast-Brunch

2/3 cup Orange Juice
1/3 cup Orange Liqueur
1/3 cup Milk
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 Finely Grated Orange Rind
3/4 Slices French Bread
Beat eggs in large bowl. Add orange juice, orange liqueur, milk, sugar, vanilla, salt, and orange rind, mix well.
Dip bread into egg mixture, turning to coat all slices. Place in baking dish in single layer, pour andy remaining egg mixture over the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
AM - Bring to room Temperature. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add slices and cook until lightly browned on both sides.
Arrange on platter or plates. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Optional: Berries sprinkled over slices after confectioners sugar.
