Amond-Rosemary Brie: Appetizer-Snack

Prep time:20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 bunch green onions, chop green & white parts

  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh rosemary

  • freshly ground pepper to taste

  • 1/2 oz mushrooms, stemmed & chopped

  • 1 1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds

  • 2 lb brie wheel

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 350F.Combine all ingredients exceept brie, in food processor fitted with metal blade & process, or combine in bowl.

Step 2:

Slice brie in half crosswise to form 2 circles or 2 wedges. Place bottom half on ovenproof platter or in ovenproof pan attracive enough to serve in.

Step 3:

Top that piece with half of the mushroom mixture. Place the other piece of brie on top and place remaining mixture over top.

Step 4:

Bake until hot and cheese just starts to melt, about 15 minutes.

Step 5:

Can prepare steps through 3 up to 3 days in advance and refrigerate, or freeze for up to 3 months.
