French Toast Almondine

Ingrédients

  • 1 Egg per person
  • Loaf French Bread
  • 1/4 cup Half and Half
  • 1/4 cup Amaretto
  • Almonds

  1. Cut 8 slices of bread from the loaf of French bread, put aside.
  2. Mix eggs, half & half, and amaretto with a wire whisk til well blended.
  3. Place pat of butter on griddle and sprinkle with Almond Slices, let almonds toast, then place dipped bread on almonds and grill til dark tan.
  4. Serve dusted with confectioner's sugar and maple syrup on the side.
  5. Dip bread into egg mix, coating both sides.
