Scandinavian Fruit Soup: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:
2 cup raisins
1/2 cup dried apricots, cranberries, white raisins, craisins & prunes
Fresh peeled apples, oranges or lemons may be added-cut into small pieces.
1/2 cup sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 cup cornstarch
whipped cream
Step 1:
Add fruit, sugar & cinnamon sticks to 6 cups of cold water.Cover and simmer for 30-45 minutes
Step 2:
Mix cornstarch with cold water and add the mixture to the fruit mix. Simmer until the soup thickens.
Step 3:
Serve warm with whipped cream.
Step 4:
Keeps several days in the refrigerator.
