Woolverton Inn Granola: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter

  • 3 tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar

  • 4 cups Old Fashioned Oats

  • 3/4 cup Sliced Almonds

  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans

  • 1/4 cup Dried Cranberries or Currants

  • Sprinkle Cinnamon

Step 1:

Pre heat over 350 degrees. Combine Maple syrup, butter, vanilla and brown sugar in a pot and bring to a boil and then turn off.

Step 2:

Combine and mix the remaining ingredients in a large bowl, pour half of the maple syrup mixture over the oat mixture. Mix well.

Step 3:

Line large baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the sticky oat mixture over the paper in a thin layer. Drizzle the remaining syrup mixture over the thin layer of sticky oats. Then sprinkle cinnamon on top.

Step 4:

Bake 15-20 minutes.

Step 5:

Let the oats completely cool on the paper. Break the mixture into loose chunks (do not crumble). Store in freezer for up to a month in a ziploc bag.
