Ginger Waffles / Lemon Curd Sauce: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour

  • 4 tablespoons sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon cloves

  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger

Step 1:

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Step 2:

In a bowl, beat the egg yolks, add the milk and then add the sifted dry ingredients.

Step 3:

In a small bowl, beat the egg whites to a thick foam and add them gently to the preparation. Your batter is ready. Cook your waffles following the instructions of appliance.

Step 4:

Serve you waffles hot, immeditately after cooking. Drizzle lemon sauce over top, garnish with whip cream;slice of twisted lemon or lemon zest
