Egg custard: Breakfast-Brunch

8 tablespoons Sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla
4 cups whole milk or half-half
Allow eggs to warm to room temperature; beat thoroughly. Continue to beat while adding sugar, salt, vanilla. Turn on oven to 325 degrees. Put baking dish with water bath into the oven.
Heat milk in microwave; beverage cycle works.
Beat egg mixture slowly; add a little hot milk at a time to eggs. Go slowly so the eggs do not cook. Finish adding the milk while continuing to mix.
Our custard mix into cups or other baking dishes, and place in water bath/baking dish. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Bake for approx. 45 minutes until firm. When done, allow to cool on the kitchen counter, then refrigerate.
