Ingrédients

  • Eggs
  • Heavy Cream
  • Orange Extract
  • Nutmeg
  • Cinnamon
  • French Bread, sliced
  • Amaretto
  • Apples
  • Raisins
  • Butter
  • Dark Brown Sugar
  • Bananas
  • Confectioners Sugar
  • Almonds, sliced
  • Maple Syrup

  1. Beat the eggs together. Add next 4 ingredients. Mix well. (This can be made and stored in the refrigerator the night before serving).
  2. Place apples and raisins in Amaretto and poach in microwave for about 1 minute. Set aside. Melt the butter. Add brown sugar to melted butter. Add poached apples and raisins. Set aside.
  3. Dip bread slices in egg mixture and fry in hot skillet until golden brown. Remove from heat.
  4. Add bananas to butter, sugar, apples and raisins. Place a spoonful of fruit mixture between 2 slices of French toast. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar and sliced almonds. Serve with maple syrup.
