Broiled Berries: Breakfast-Brunch

Prep time:15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups fresh berries: blueberries, blackberries, strawberries or raspberries

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Step 1:

Preheat oven to broil; divide berries evenly among 6 small ramekins or custard cups.

Step 2:

In a small bowl, mix sour cream and vanilla.

Step 3:

Sprinkle each bowl with brown sugar.

Step 4:

Place ramekins on a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes, or until sugar carmelizes.

Step 5:

Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
