1 1 loaf of baguette bread
1 1/2 cups half and half milk
4 each eggs
1 can strawberry pie filling
can Powdered sugar
1 can Whip cream
1 each Strawberry syrup / maple syrup
To Prepare : Slice baguette bread in approximately one inch thick slices - three or four slices per person ...........Pour milk in bowl...........Put 3 eggs and 1 yolk in another bowl and beat eggs ......... Roll slice of 1" thick bread in milk and then roll in egg mixture until bread is well coated
Place little olive oil in skillet over medium heat and place toast in skillet adding a dash of nutmeg to the top of each slice of toast ...... Brown toast on both sides ....Remove and blot with paper towels ...Repeat until all toast is fried, stack on plate and place in warming oven for approx. 30 minutes
Spread a thin layer of Philadelphia cream cheese on bottom of each slice of toast.
Stack 3 or 4 slices of toast on dinner plate in circle over lapping the slices slightly. Top with whipped cream.
Place three or four large spoons of strawberry pie filling around slices and sprinkle toast and plate with white powdered sugar.
