Washington Baked Pears: Side Dish

6 Fresh Washington Pears
1/4 cup Brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 cup Pecans
1/2 cup Raisins
2 tablespoons Butter
Preheat oven to 375
Core each pear, leaving bottom intact. Cut a hairline cirle around the middle of each pear, just piercing the skin.
In a small bowl, combine sugar, spices, nuts, and raisins.
Fill pears with mixture and dot with butter. Arrange pears upright in a small baking dish. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, until pears are tender. Cool for 15 minutes.
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream
