Golden Dreams B&B's Banana-Poppyseed Pancakes: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups w.w. flour

  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder

  • 2 teaspoons Baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg

  • 4 Eggs

  • 2 cups Milk

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

  • 2 Bananas

  • 1/4 cup Poppy seeds

Step 1:

Combine the dry ingredients flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt sugar and nutmeg (even the night before to save time!)

Step 2:

In my trusty blender I wirl up the wets; eggs, milk and vanilla.

Step 3:

Quarter the bananas lengthwise and then chop into pieces, add these and poppyseeds to the drys.

Step 4:

Fold in wet ingredients to form an even batter. Note: batter consistancy will vary, wetter will spread more on griddle and thicker will stay more compact.

Step 5:

I fry about 3 tablespoons of batter on a non-stick electric griddle, turning once.
