White Chip Macadamia Coconut Crisps: Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 1 2/3 cup flour

  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup white sugar

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

  • 1 egg

  • 2 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut

  • 3/4 cup macadamia nuts

Step 1:

Cream butter, sugars, vanilla and egg until pale yellow.

Step 2:

Sift baking powder, salt and baking soda into flour. Slowly add to wet ingredients and mix just to combine.

Step 3:

Add chips, coconut and nuts (batter will be thick).

Step 4:

Drop by small ice cream scoofuls onto parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 325 for 8-10 minutes, careful not to overbake. Cookies will remain chewy if not overcooked and will get crispy if cooked longer. Our guests like them both ways!
