Apricot French Toast Stuffed with Cream Chees and Walnuts: Breakfast-Brunch

Ingredients:

  • French bread sliced 1 3/4 in. on diagonal

  • 8 oz cream cheese

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1 jar apricot jam

  • 1/2 cup orange juice

  • 3 beaten eggs

  • 1 cup milk

Step 1:

Slit bread slices and stuff with cream cheese and walnuts

Step 2:

Mix eggs and milk

Step 3:

Dip stuffed bread slices in egg mixture

Step 4:

Place on hot griddle and brown each side

Step 5:

Place stuffed cooked bread slices on cookie sheet and place in 350 degree oven for 20 min. Mix apricot jam and orange juice and heat. Serve stuffed French toast topped with apricot mixture. Place extra apricot sauce on table.
