Maple Hill Manor Harvest Day Soup: Soup

Ingredients:

• 

  1 lb sausage

• 

  1 onion, finely chopped

• 

  2 1/2 cup chicken broth

• 

  2 can canned pumpkin

• 

  2 teaspoons lemon juice

• 

  2 cups hot milk

• 

  1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

• 

  1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

• 

  to taste salt and pepper

• 

  chopped parsley

Step 1:

In large frying pan brown and crumble sausage.

Step 2:

Remove sausage and sauté onions in drippings.

Step 3:

In large pot or crock pot, add all the ingredients.

Step 4:

Heat until hot.

Step 5:

Serve sprinkled with parsley. Serve 8 to 10.
