Chocolate Hazelnut Icing for Whole Wheat Brownies: Dessert

1 stick butter
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-2 tablespoons half & half
Melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat & stir in cocoa.
Add powdered sugar, Frangelico, vanilla. Add 1-2 tablespoons half & half to desired spreading consistency.
Use to frost Whole Wheat Brownies (see separate recipe), for over-the-top richness! Cut into 24 squares or 48 triangles.
