Blueberry Sauce: Sauce
Prep time:15 minutes
2 cups Fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
1/2 cup Water
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
Place blueberries in a saucepan.
Add water, sugar, cinnamon and salt and bring to a boil.
Simmer until berries are tender for about 15 minutes.
Stirring constantly, add cornstarch blended with lemon juice and continue to simmer until sauce is clear and thickened for about 3 minutes.
Cool, store in airtight container in refrigerator. Makes approximately 2 cups. Great on pancakes and waffles.
