1 1/4 cups water
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup white flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup oatmeal (can be quick or old fashioned)
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon yeast
Put ingredients in breadmaker in order listed. Set it on "dough" cycle. When it finishes (1 hr & 40 min. for mine) take it out, stretch it out into a french bread loaf shape, place on flat baking sheet. Let rise for an hour if you have time or put it in the fridge overnight. Bake 25 min. @ 350 for a softer crust, 400 for 20 min. for a hard crust.
If you don't have a breadmaker, just stir ingredients together and knead it for 5 to 8 minutes, let it rise 1 1/2 hours, then stretch it out, let it rise again and follow baking instructions.
