Ashley's Victorian Haven

This modest B & B may not be fancy but offers abundant charm and hospitality. I stayed in the comfy First Floor Suite, which has a great claw foot tub. Barbara is friendly and VERY helpful. Food was excellent. You'll find lots of antiques and knickknacks here. The room lacked a few items, such as soap, but was just fine. Rates were much lower than nearby inns; great value all around.

We were visiting friends in nearby Port Richey. In looking for a B&B to stay in, I happened across Ashley's Victorian Haven. What a find! The location was perfect and quiet, the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was updated with a large walk-in shower, but the best thing about Ashley's is Barbara and her breakfasts! Absolutely fabulous food and she makes certain you have everything you need. I would recommend this B&B to anyone!

My girlfriend and I stayed on October 1, 2011 and are very pleased with every part of our stay. Barbra was so nice and went out of her way to make sure that we were all set. The house is so nice and the rooms were very clean the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Was my first time staying at a B&B and will make a point of returning.

Barbara and Larry are superb hosts!. The breakfasts are so good. Barbara's feta cheese quiche is to die for. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and will be staying here again. So close to everything we wanted to see, do and eat. Our visit was in March of 2010.

As a quick get-away from stress, the weekend spent here was just what I needed. Rooms were immaculate, quiet setting, nearby to town, great restaurants & stores, most friendly owners at the B & B, and it was so pleasant to wake up to a full breakfast that I didn't have to cook. Like I said, it's definitely worth the trip.

If you want the charm of Tarpon Springs, Ashley's Victorian Haven is the BEST B&B to stay in. The rooms are the cleanest, most comfortable I have ever stayed in. Barbara and Larry go out of their way to invite you into their B&B with graciousness beyond your expectations. Her breakfast is worth getting up for even tho you could relax in her beds, they are so comfortable. This is within walking distance to the sponge docks and fine dining. You will not be disappointed with chosing Ashley's. The swing on the front porch, wonderful for coffee and relaxing!!! This is a must for your list!!

Hidden Gem - Ashley's is tucked away on a very quiet street just a few blocks from the sponge docks and downtown areas. Barb is a wonderful hostess, down to earth and makes breakfasts that keep up with many boutique B&B's. We asked for a repeat of the killer French toast. Only two rooms but the service level is still typical of 3-5 room properties. Very reasonable. If you enjoy a B&B set in an oder Victorian house, end your search here. We'll be back next time we visit the area. Stayed in the downstairs room which had plenty of space - closet, sofa, make-up table, and oversized bath with separate tub and shower. Living/dining room loaded with antiques are right outside and the kitchen has plenty of space for working with your leftovers, including a full-size refrigerator/freezer and silverware/dishes. Bottled water was provided to help us beat the July heat. Barb and her husband have their own cottage in the back. Couples or families traveling together can rent both rooms and have total privacy. We toured the beaches each day and sponge docks each night. The location makes it convenient to get around without touching the huge highways that surround the area. The city's performing arts center next door is another evening option. Tarpon Springs has very few B&B's, but this one is definitely a winner.

We had the pleasure of a wonderful stay at Ashley’s in March 2009. The only word that can describe our opinion of this Bed & Breakfast is “FANTASTIC”. The antiques are intriguing – we loved exploring the home and viewing all the unique pieces. The front porch swing is a great place to kick back at the end of the day. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. The hospitality is second to none!!! Barbara & Larry did an incredible job making us feel “at home”, giving us plenty of privacy and serving up a delicious breakfast. We will definitely stay there again. Nick & Susan

Ashley's offers a peaceful retreat within walking distance of the sponge docks and historic Victorian area of Tarpon Springs. Barbara is the perfect hostess: sociable and welcoming, but not overbearing, and the breakfasts are fantastic!

I was looking for someplace to stay for my son's wedding festivities-needless to say he decided to get married in "prime time" in FLorida so I was really in need of a place to stay that I could afford. Luckily, I happened on Victorian Haven; Barbara was soooo good to us-she is a great cook and marvelous hostess and the downstairs suite was just absolutely perfect. Within walking distance to nearly everything in Tarpon Springs, including the winery at the end of the block, this is such an ideal place to stay, even if you are not into antiques. Our stay at Ashley's Victorian Haven was the best. The location was perfect for all activities and the Innkeepers were amazing, fun and could not do enough to make out stay fabulous. I will be returning, no doubt.

My husband and I decided to stay at a bed and breakfast, for the first time, to celebrate our 29th anniversary. After reading the reviews posted, we chose Ashley's Victorian Haven although we were a little bit hesitant when we saw how affordable it was to stay there. We were so relieved to arrive and find the house quaint, very clean, attractively decorated and quite comfortable. Barbara was so hospitable and accommodating and we especially enjoyed the fabulous breakfast she provided that topped off our wonderful date!

Friendly, quiet area, close to everything.

We recently spent two nights at Ashley's Victorian Haven celebrating our anniversary. We arrived to find a delightful home decorated with beautiful antiques. Our room was clean and neat and included a bouquet of fresh flowers placed there in honor of our special weekend. Our hostess made us feel truly welcome, and served delicious breakfasts both mornings of our stay. We were pleased to find that Ashley's was within walking distance of the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs as well as our favorite Greek restaurant. We will definitely plan to spend another getaway at this unique Bed and Breakfast.

We've stayed in many B&B's and we consider Ashley's B&B one of the best all around.

This is by far one of the best places we've ever stayed at! Amazingly clean, well decorated, with a comfortable bed and gorgeous linens. We slept like babies! The bed was sooo comfortable. The owner was really nice and made us feel at home. This is the first time I've ever felt like writing a review and it's because of how great this place was! Breakfast was fantastic! We had home made french toast (with fresh french bread!), lots of bacon and lots of fresh fruit. It's in a great location, close (within walking distance) to lots of dining, the sponge docks, shopping and a bike/walking trail. If we go back to Tarpon Springs this is where we'll stay and I highly recommend it to anyone!

This place had all the comforts of home and all the pampering we could hope for, along with our own personalized service. We were even surprised with fresh cut flowers, a bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary.

A quiet place with lots of charm and all the amenities of a conventional hotel. The breakfast was excellent and Barbara, the innkeeper was very accomodating and friendly. We stayed in the room downstairs and there was lots of privacy. Also very convenient to downtown shops and port.

This innkeepper has been exceptionally responsive to our wants and needs. She keeps a very clean establishment. She has asked what we wanted for breakfast and been accomodating to special dietary needs, even trying new recipies to please us. This is a great place to stay. I highly recommend it.

I have been to several Bed and Breakfast around the nation, and I have never had so much service as I had when I stayed at Ashleys Victorian Haven. I stayed in the bottom suite, while a friend had the upstairs suite from Aug 15th to Aug 31st. The Stay has been delightful, the Breakfast has been awesome, and having such a terrible experience with a Bed and breakfast 10 miles south of here at the IBIS, this place was a very good relief. I think the thing that sticked out most was the Service by Barbara. For two and half weeks we were able to customize what we had for breakfast. She made us these Parfaits every morning that were out of this world. If I could rate her out of ten I would give her an eleven. That is how good she was to us. Olso to note, her place is walking distance to all major spots like the sponge docks and restruants.

Stayed the night of July 28. We had the upstairs bedrooms. The rooms were quite large enough and spotless. Interesting antiques everywhere right down to the comfortable beds. Our hosts Barb and her husband went to a great deal of effort to restore this house and their attention to detail is evident throughout. There was not a thing we lacked for during our stay. The close proximity to downtown and the sponge docks was an added plus. You should definitely stay here if you're anywhere near the arae!
