Before moving to the area, we stayed in several of the “couples" options for single night reservations along 30a for anniversary trips (vs. most beach houses which rent by the week). As someone who prioritizes comfort, cleanliness, memorable breakfasts, and proximity to the beach as my most important factors in selecting an establishment - in my book Lisbeth’s B&B hands-down wins and is a much better value than the rest. I know hotels and B&Bs are apples and oranges, but I also know that couples may be contemplating all the options like we did. I have twice now found Lisbeth’s to be more enjoyable of a stay than the area’s “luxury hotels” and Lisbeth’s location is actually a shorter walk to the beach: you just walk out the front door, cross the street, walk a small path and go down a sand hill. At the other places we had to go down long hallways, ride elevators, walk through resorts or cross large green-spaces, and then take large ramps or stairs down to the actual beach. (And neither of the hotels include beach chairs and an umbrella - in WaterColor it is an extra $25+ a day and in Rosemary Beach we were charged a separate “daily resort fee” to cover the cost whether we used them or not.) At the hotels, rates are double-to-triple the cost, meanwhile the kindness at Lisbeth’s exceeds what we experienced at the other properties. This week I returned to Lisbeth’s for three nights (Little Tokyo room) while moving across town, and it was wonderful to come "home" each day to such a relaxing respite. I slept soundly and woke to bountiful breakfasts and great company and conversation. Whether you are coming from out own town or having a “staycation” like I did, this bed and breakfast is a special find along Highway 30a. And thanks again, Lis and Tom, for all your warm hospitality!

My wife and I stayed a couple nights (8/12-8/14/2013). Tom and Lisbeth are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was so good we stole a couple recipes. The room was comfortable, clean and cold albeit a bit small and in need of some shelf space. View from the patio to the gulf was nice despite the rain. We brought our bicycles and rode the 30A bike path from end to end. Lots of back streets to ride and explore. Many good restaurants within a mile. Whisky Bravo has excellent grouper and views. But the best part of the stay was meeting Mickey Mantle. This is without a doubt the best dog ever. We will stay again when we are in the 30A area, even if Tom has the no vacancy sign out.

Lisbeth's B & B was a beautiful place for us to meet our friends for the weekend, celebrate a birthday, enjoy the beach, restaurants and each other. Lisbeth and Tom...and Mickey Mantle (dog) could not have been more hospitable, the house cozier or lovelier and the breakfasts more delicious! Lisbeth went out of her way to make us feel like we were staying with family. Watching the sunset from our porch was magnificent! Cannot wait to go back! D & P Moran

I loved staying at Lizbeth's bed and breakfast. The view from the second story balcony was breath taking, almost like a dream. With the remodeling and new owners i give this bed and breakfast two thumbs up. I loved waking up every morning to a fresh and hot breakfast, every morning was different! It was a spectacular experience and i will defiantly be returning. The family style that Tom and Liz brought to atmosphere brought a warm feeling to my heart and I had a incredible stay.

My wife and I booked this as a last minute choice for our anniversary trip. I talked with Lisbeth to make our reservation the night before our arrival and felt like we had made a wise choice of accommodations. Our room was the Little Tokyo and we thoroughly enjoyed the nice comfortable mattress, the newly redone bath w/rain shower head and the cooling ceiling fan. Tom's breakfasts were very good and we enjoyed our talks with them each morning over breakfast. The lovely beach was just across the street and they provided us with a bottle of wine and glasses and a couple of chairs at the beach to enjoy. They provided chairs and umbrellas for beach use and were great hosts to us for our three night stay in the middle of the week which is a great time to go for a less crowded and leisurely time at the beach. As regular B&B guests, we can attest that this is truly the only B&B on this stretch of 30A which is a great scenic road to rent bikes and ride alongside. Had a great visit and made some new friends in Tom and Lisbeth. May God bless their B&B and those who stay with them.

We had a wonderful stay at Lisbeth's in April 2012. New owners and newly renovated. Loved the room decor, very gracious hosts, delicious breakfast (and snacks available 24 hours). We could not have asked for better. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels available. Breathtaking beach just steps out the door. Discount at the local bike rental shop too. Thanks so much Tom and Lisbeth. We'll be back!
