Inn on Charlotte

This is our 6th or 7th time visiting The Inn On Charlotte. It's a great place to stay, clean, warm and friendly. We park our car and don't get into it again until we leave. Everything in Old Town we can walk to. Special thanks to Rae Ann who has been there from the beginning. She adds a nice extra friendly touch. We are hoping to visit again soon.

We had a fantastic two nights, a very memorable first time for a bed and breakfast. Regrettable we slept in the first morning and missed breakfast but morning two's breakfast made up for it.

We stayed here for three nights and picked the hotel based on location and cleanliness reviews. We were not disappointed! You are just one street off the main drag and we walked to everything. Rodney and Jerry are gracious but don't invade your privacy. We picked the HAVEN room and I loved the 2nd floor balcony to people watch. The only downside is that the room is a little small if you have more than one suitcase, and one of the 3 nights, there was a lot of streetnoise to deal with while sleeping. But the balcony makes it worth the one night of restless sleep. The two course breakfast was not too 'gourmet' but not the basic scrambled eggs casserole. If was excellent.

This was our 5th visit, with many more to follow. We love the Veranda room with its king sized bed and lovely balcony. Lynne makes us feel like family. She is a gracious host and a truly nice person. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. A perfect location!

We have stayed at the Inn 5 times. Each time is equally wonderful. The first weekend in December we are going back for our 6th stay and are bringing friends. The Inn is in Old Town so we can walk to everything. We have made friends there, who will also be joining us. It will be their second stay at the Inn on Charlotte. Can't say enough about how great the Inn is.

Wonderfully comfortable and clean. A nice retreat after a day in the historic district or at the beach. The inn is beautifully furnished with antiques.

Awesome place to stay. From the beautiful rooms, elegant breakfasts, wonderful service, friendly staff, even the towels smell lovely! And the spa tub is great! Met some nice people.

Don't have enough words to say how comfortable we were and what a beautiful lady our hostess, Lynne, was. our room was perfect and breakfast was incredible!

This was our first stay at a B&B and the Inn on Charlotte did not disappoint. Lynne our host, was very gracious. Our room was beautiful and the jacuzzi was very relaxing. The afternoon snacks were delightful and the gourmet breakfast was unbelievably delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return to Inn on Charlotte again and again. Thanks Lynne.

We stayed at the Inn during our 2nd anniversary celebration. We were greeted warmly and given just enough attention to get what we needed but not feel overwhelmed by too much attention. The room was beautiful (we stayed in the Veranda room) and the breakfast was great. We would definitely recommend the Inn for anyone wanting a romantic getaway.

We stayed for the first time for my birthday in January. I felt safe and at home. The happy hour gave us a chance to meet the other guests as well as taste great food and wine! We are returning in September for our honeymoon. Instead of going to Amelia Island for free all expenses paid we opted for The Inn on Charlotte even though we have to pay. That is how amazing our stay was in January.Thank you Lynn. You are amazing!

We went for our25th anniversary and it was beautiful to stay at the Inn on Charlotte. The room was comfortable and romantic. The food was wonderful. You could not ask for a nicer place to stay. It was convenient to all attractions also.

I booked The Inn for my husband and I to take a relaxing weekend getway which was very much needed. Right away I knew our stay at the Inn on Charlotte was a great choice! They were wonderful on the phone, which was refreshing, because I had been clling around to some other Inns that honestly were not very nice about a two night stay on a three day weekend! We arrived to find the Inn cozy, friednly, formal yet comfortable and warm. We loved our room, and the jacuzzi tub! The breakfast both days was to die for, and the little extras throughout our stay made the Inn someplace I would highly recommend, and a place we hope to be back to very soon!

We have stayed at the Inn four times. We have reservations for our anniversary again (3rd year in a row) for 4 nights and in December for the Christmas fun for at least 3 nights. We recommend it to all our friends. You can't go wrong. Park when you get there and walk everywhere else. The food is wonderful, the rooms the best and the beds are very comfortable. Can't say enough about it.

I felt like I was home. It was so warm, cozy, and intimate. Breakfast was excellent. Just overall feeling was exceptional!

The innkeeper is the best! We've stayed here 3 times and loved it all 3 times. Located in the old town, you can walk to everything!

Lynne the inn keeper is fantastic. She and her staff created a fantastic weekend get-away for our anniversary. The room was perfect; from the double jacuzzi in the room to the beautiful four post bed and slate tile bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding and the wine and snacks in the evening were perfect. All of their recommendations were spot on. To make our weekend care-free, they made all of our reservations from the carriage ride to the dinner and alot more. Thank you for the outstanding weekend. I haven't stopped telling everyone about your place. See you next year!

This was our 3rd stay here. The inn is like a home to us in St. Augustine. Lynne and her staff are excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location allows us to walk to most attractions. Many good restaurants near by.

The Inn Keeper, Lynne is wonderful. She made us feel totally at home. The In was recommended to me by my son who has stayed there many times. our room was incredible, breakfast soooo good. And the snacks mid day were over the top. I highly recommend this B&B

We spent our anniversary at the Inn On Charlotte, in St. Augustine Florida. It was wonderful. The Inn Keeper was more than devoted to making our stay wonderful.

I don't know of a B&B that is better situated in the heart of the historic district. The house itself is very well appointed and the service was very warm. Excellent experience without zero complaints. We'll stay again.

This was our first time in St. Augustine & our first stay at a B & B, so needless to say, I wanted everything to be "perfect" & I had high expectations. Lynn made our first B & B experience very enjoyable, it was everything I had hoped for. The inn was lovely & very clean, & Lynn couldn't have been a better hostess. She is very knowledgeable & helpful in her recommendations for dining, entertainment, etc. and has the know-how to make it happen or make reservations for you. Her breakfasts are wonderful, her afternoon happy hour is delightful and delicious; she is a very gracious hostess and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was very comfortable, very relaxing - I had my first good night's sleep in months! All in all, this experience was everything I expected and more!

We each came form different cities to meet for the weekend in St. Augustine; the wkend 'Fay' came through. Lynn was the most helpfull with suggestions for sightseeing, dinner spots, entertainment, and her wonderful breakfasts. She is the Martha Stewart of Charlotte St. We found our room exquisit yet, comfortable in every way.

What a marvelous inn. Comfortable and elegant accommodations, delightful meals, and five star attention to our needs throughout our stay. My companion and I were already comparing our calendars to plan a return visit on our way out the door!

Lynne fulfilled our vision of a small, intimate wedding. The ceremony was beautiful, romantic and meaningful. She took care of every detail, allowing us to focus on what was truly important—each other. Weddings usually come with a certain amount of stress, but rather than worrying about the minister, photographer, flowers, cake, champagne, music or whether guests were being accommodated, we spent our wedding day sightseeing, hand-in-hand. Lynne prepared a wonderful, gourmet breakfast to start our day. We took a trolley tour of the historical sights, shopped on St. George Street, listened to live music outdoors, enjoyed lunch at a nearby café and simply enjoyed our time together. We returned to the Inn on Charlotte at 4:00 to attend to any last minute wedding details, but Lynne and her staff had everything under control. All we had to do was dress for the occasion. At 6:00 p. m., we were married on the veranda, surrounded by a lovely flower-filled garden and our new friends that we had met at the Inn. They shared our joy. After the ceremony, Lynne had arranged for us to take a champagne tour of St. Augustine by horse-drawn carriage, followed by a romantic dinner for two. The day was absolutely blissful, even better than we had imagined. In fact, our entire stay at the Inn on Charlotte was a delightful experience. I highly recommend it to couples seeking an intimate wedding, romantic getaway, relaxing retreat or sightseeing adventure. You’ll enjoy good food, make new friends and take away wonderful memories. We’ll be back for our anniversary!

OUr stay was great. The food was wonderful and the inn was charming. Service was first class.

The Inn on Charlotte Street was a pleasant stay. The location could not have been better. The breakfast was phenomenal. Service was great. The afternoon treats were above and beyond. We loved the jacuzzi. However, it was not a restful weekend because the bed was as hard as a rock. It was just simply not comfortable. It wasn't pleasant to sit on let alone sleep on. So, if you like sleeping on really hard beds or simply don't care about getting a restful sleep, I don't think there is a better place to go. If they get new beds, we'll be back again and again.

The Inn is a little slice of heaven that brings some of the old Florida charm and blends with some modern day conveniences like wifi. Each room has its own personality and charm that is welcoming with a homey feeling. The innkeeper and staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make you feel at home.

The Inn on Charlotte is a truly exceptional experience. Lynne made sure that our experience was superb. She made sure that our every need was addressed. It was our 5th anniversary, and our first B&B stay. WOW - I can only say that we will be checking into the Inn on Charlotte every chance we get.

We arrived at the Inn On Charlotte on a Sunday. We were a bit early but Lynn made sure the room was ready in a short time and from the time we walked into the inn we felt so welcome and relaxed. Our room was so much more than we expected and the bed was very comfortable which was important because my husband has a very bad back. We slept great every night. We stayed three nights but we wish it could have been much longer. Every morning breakfast was sooooo good thanks to Chris. Our trip to St Aug. was the best trip ever and that had alot to do with the inn. Lynn and Chris were so caring and we cant wait to return. The Roys

This was our third visit to the Inn on Charlotte. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

I have never been in such a beautiful Inn and the hostess is a excellent Cook and very Helpful. everything was so clean and service was excellent.. Look for us Back Soon
