The beautiful Beachfront B&B is located on the ocean. It was a little chilly during our visit so we did not take advantage of many of their amenities. The breakfasts were delicious with the great views! Lauren and Rich, the owners, were fantastic. Started our day with long walks on the beach then headed to the historical district and loved returning the the quite of the B&B. The perfect mix of city and beach! We will return soon. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

This is our favorite destination. We love the whole feel of St. Augustine and could not enjoy our stay more when we come to Beachfront B&B. We have stayed in several different rooms but our favorite is Surfside, such a lovely experience! We have been coming for 6 years now and are always treated exceptionally well by the staff and owners, Lauren and Rich. We love that the B&B is right on the beach and after a day of enjoying the prettiest beach in the area, (and pretty much anything you'd want to use on the beach is thoughtfully provided from towels to chairs to boogie boards and bikes with no extra rental fee...even sunscreen should you have forgotten yours!) one can enjoy the perfect pool or jacuzzi or simply enjoy the splendid garden area. If you prefer you can go upstairs to the common area which has a lovely ocean view should you not be in one of the upstairs rooms with a private view. If you wake before breakfast is ready I strongly recommend you take an early morning walk along the beach. You'll be glad you did when you see the spectacular sunrise! As to the staff, they are totally wonderful! Lauren appreciates the hard work "the girls" do and is full of praise for them herself. Lauren and Rich make everyone feel welcome. There is every effort made to help make your stay as perfect as possible. I have to be careful about certain foods and there is never a problem for this being taken into account for me at breakfast time. Truly, if you want to stay in a place just off from the greater crowds of the historic area of town but still be close to great food and fascinating history; if you want to spend at least part of your vacation on a marvelous beach; if you want to be treated like a welcome friend by super staff then Beachfront B&B is the place to go. Personally my husband and I are counting the days to our next stay this September! (He's getting his surf rod ready for fishing and me? Well, I'm selecting my beach reading...)

Two things were off for us.the breakfast is a different menu each day but I couldn't get a menu. This Tuesday there was fresh fruit in a small cup, two pieces of tiny link sausage, one piece of French toast drenched in cinnamon, sugar AND syrup- too sweet. We weren't offered the syrup on the side or told what that meal would be. There was oj and french toast with offers seconds. The second oddity-was being 'issued' an ice bucket at check in.we figured out this must be a convenience sine the hotel next door has the ice machine. There were ice trays in the room too. Those are the two overall small things we encountered on the downside. On to the highlights.the grounds were lovely, very well cared for There is attention to detail on the property and in the rooms that is noticeable. We had the Lighthouse which is the furthest from the beach and main house-to not have anyone walking above us and around our entrance. The room was comfortable, decorated nicely with a queen size bed. The bathroom had a largetub-I expected a handheld shower head-or two but it was an attached head with options. There was a microwave, fridge and a little dry space for storage. The room was peaceful, comfortable with more amenities..there was a jacuzzi on property that was wonderful! I didn't know this kind of technology existed in a jacuzzi.you would need to experience it.The beach!! What else can be said-IT'S RIGHT THERE!! That was the big draw for us and we enjoyed this experience sooo much. we will be back to this B&B again. Lauren has a knack for connecting with the customer and taking care of any needs. One other thing I noticed-I took a tour of the empty rooms in the upstairs part of the beach house. Exquisite, lovely, unique, grandiose, outstanding.though when a person is in their room you can hear, too well, the guests in the common area...but don't let that stop you(bring a fan for noise).there were extra perks here.the beach house and verandah-GORGEOUS!

In November 2012, we had our wedding at the La Fiesta. All of our guests stayed at the Bed & Breakfast, as well as the hotel. It was absolutely wonderful!!! Lauren and Rich (the owners) are amazing, and the front desk people are always so friendly. It is super clean, very nice, and not to mention that they have an amazing breakfast that is delivered to your door every morning :) Everyone was very happy with the B&B :) We will be spending our one year anniversary here as well :)

Beyond expectations! Owners Lauren and Rich, and all their staff were very friendly, informative and helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated with two windows looking out over the ocean, which allowed us to hear the waves crashing and feel that wonderful breeze. It was equipped with everything expected in any high end hotel and something we weren’t expecting at a B&B, a small refrigerator with freezer. Breakfast was good and served at a civilized 9:00 am with coffee and tea available around 7:30. It was so relaxing…wake up to the spectacular sunrise over the ocean, get a coffee, and take in the view. No rush. The common area was bright and inviting with a spectacular view of the ocean, where we had wonderful conversations with the other guests .The grounds are lush and manicured which made barefoot walking between the house, the beach and the pool a pleasure. This is the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in and we are planning to go back there again…a real retreat!

We made our reservations a couple of months in advance and booked the Lighthouse for two nights. The beach was not too crowded - maybe 10 people in the area the whole time. The room was very comfortable and we could tell they put a lot of thought into the small touches that make a stay comfortable. For example, there was a flashlight next to the bed which we used for a night time beach walk and there are little lights on the signs in the parking spaces at night so it is easier to see where you're driving. Everything was clean and the breakfasts were tasty and served by considerate staff who packed a "box breakfast" for another couple staying there who was going to leave too early the following morning to eat the cooked breakfast included. There were beach towels to use, beach chairs, umbrellas and the hot tub and pool were clean and not too chlorinated. We'll for sure go back and make it a regular vacationing spot.

La Fiesta Ocean Inn & Suites is in an excellent location. There are restaurants within walking distance and St. Augustine is a short drive away where there are lots of nice shops to browse. We stayed at the Beachfront Bed & Breakfast which is right on the ocean, has a heated pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and is for adults only. Our Surfside room was spacious, clean and very well decorated. The staff is extremely friendly and the breakfast was always delicious! The landscaping is beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating including a hammock, which is great for relaxing in the evenings. We enjoyed amazing sunrises and sunsets from the sandy beach and had a blast boogie boarding in the ocean. We felt very welcome and it was so peaceful and relaxing we had a very hard time leaving - I can't wait to go back!

There's something here for everyone looking for a relaxing vacation or just to spend a few days getting away from it all. I can't say enough about it being quiet, friendly, and convenient. My wife and I were there for our 25th Wedding Anniversary; and met several couples who lived elsewhere in Florida, who were doing just that. We typically have gone to the Gulf beaches, but I find this area particularly interesting because it has so much to offer, if going to the beach (just a short walk) isn't a desirable everyday event for you. Everyone there at Beachfront B&B makes you feel pampered, paying close attention to making sure you had every amenity you needed (and then some) at all times. We stayed in the Lighthouse Room, the smallest of all the accommodations in the guest cottage away from the main cottage, and I found it ideal because I tend to go to the beach at all hours, and didn't want to disturb the other guests or clutter the common areas available to the other guests with my found treasures or sand. We asked to look at some of the other suites and rooms, and would recommend them all. I suggest calling Beachfront and telling them what you like to do, so they can make recommendations so as to advise you based on your intended activities. Everything at Beachfront B&B is convenient (including the view of the beach while eating breakfast), from the pool and Jacuzzi and beach (and should be used), but some accommodations lend themselves more to certain activities. As for the grounds, everywhere I looked seemed to have a different flower, so take a camera when the weather is right. All in all I say, just let the rest of the world slip away, when you stay at the Beachfront B&B, and enjoy. Questions, I can be reached at greg.1011 (at) live.com

I surprised my wife with a 1 night trip to St. Augustine this past Valentine's day and we stayed in the Lighthouse room at the Beachfront B&B. It was a last minute trip, so there were no rooms available in the main house. The room was awesome. very clean and relaxing. There definitely was NOT a 26 inch flat screen, but we weren't there to watch tv anyway! The beach is just a short walk away and the view from the lounge in the main house is incredible. Old town/downtown St. Augustine is about a 10-15 minute drive away, but there are still plenty of great restaurants and bars near by. Unfortunately, we had to leave early and missed breakfast. Next time, that will be what I look forward to the most.

This was our first vacation together and first time in a Bed and Breakfast also. What an amazing location. We could hear the waves crashing and nothing else. We will definitely return to this B&B. With no children and clever landscaping to block out traffic noise you could not ask for more.

My husband and I stayed at Beachfront last weekend, and we had a wonderful time. It is right on the beach, and we took several walks on the beach and got up our last morning there to watch an amazing sunrise. We used the jacuzzi, which was great b/c the weather was a little cooler than we were hoping (too cool to swim in the ocean or the pool). Our room was very clean and had all the basic amenities. Breakfast each of the three mornings was delicious. There is a very nice, large sitting room in the main building, with a sun room with views of the ocean. We had a car, and it was about a 10 minute drive into St. Augustine. There are lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. It is a great place for a relaxing romantic weekend!

The big plus is the beach access. Staff very pleasant. Breakfast was not as comprehensive as I feel a B&B one should be. Starting to serve breakfast at 9:00am is way too late! Nice atmosphere, nice amenities, very private. We enjoyed our stay and met some interesting people.

We had absolutely the best time ever! Great rooms, great atmosphere, great staff and great beach! They also have some great restaurants in the area. They also have the best miniature golf course that we have seen! Thanks for the great hospitality! George and Pat Hoffman Estates, IL

We had the pleasure of stumbling upon this paradise oasis last summer. Private, yet close to everything. Beachfront and pool are perfect together. Loved the hammock under the palms and the linen was elegant. Can't wait to revisit soon.

This was our 5th visit to Beachfront B&B and it was as wonderful as the first. We particularly find the lushly landscaped, totally gorgeous pool relaxing. It is like being in your own private retreat. Tim & Kathie

This was the first time since our honeymoon that we stayed in a B&B and it was so wonderful we didn't want to leave! From the correspondence with Cheryl weeks prior to our arrival to the 'chatting by the heated pool" with the Lauren & Rich (the owners), it was one of the best 'get aways' we've ever had. We were celebrating our 23rd and it felt like our honeymoon. The friendliness of the staff and other guests was so comforting it seemed as if we were there on a daily basis and we were treated as if we were family. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sand Dollar, walking distance to the heated pool and spa and just over the dunes to the breath taking beach. Getting up early and walking the beach led us to breakfast at a nearby restaurant (right on the beach), unfortuneate for us because it was nothing compared to the fresh baked goodies we missed at the B&B (got back just as they were cleaning up). We have shared our visit with many friends and co-workers and we're already talking about re-visiting but for a longer stay....and with a group of friends to make it even more (if that's possible) enjoyable! Two days isn't long enough when you're staying at La Fiesta, whether it's the Inn or B&B, you'll want to stay longer! Janel & Kerry Houchens, Gainesville FL

The location of this B&B is about the best our group had every stayed in. The amenities were exceptional. But the food....they need to understand what a "breakfast" means in this business. It is actually the first time that we've stayed where we felt as though everything was for the owner's and staff's convenience, not for the customer. The table setting was gorgeous but the food was basic. I would return but with entirely different expectations and other plans for food.

We spent our first anniversary here and we loved it. This October 2007 will be our 9th anniversary and we are going to make reservations again. It was, fun, romantic, and we even was hit with a hurricane in October 1999, and we still loved it!

One of the most wonderful vacations of our lives. Very quiet and romantic. Perfect for couples in love or needing to get that "feeling" back.

This was our first experience at a B & B and we loved it! The attention to detail is certainly noteworthy...from the comfort of high thread count sheets on the bed, fresh flowers, and conganc on the side table for road weary travelers it was a perfect respite. The owner and staff were very friendly and offered great advice on where to obtain dinner. The view of the ocean from our room was beautiful and soothing. Highly recommended!!
