Our two inns, sitting next door to each other, are the only bayfront inns located in the historic district, yet a block away from the nearest noisy establishment. Serenity is yours on our porches, decks, courtyards, and gazebo. Our views are spectacular. Enjoy your complementary wine or beer on our victorian porch swings and watch the dolphin play in the bay.Romance is the theme at the Westcott House. Make memories for a lifetime for you and your love. Enjoy our rooms with direct bay views, or perhaps our rooms with double jacuzzis and candlelight, and complementary wine. Relax together on our porches and watch the dolphin play in the bay, the sailboats rocking in the breeze, the horse and carriages clip-clopping by. Later, walk hand-in-hand along the sea wall to the historic Fort San Marco, along brick streets to enjoy our galleries, cafes, antique shops, and historic buildings of old St. Augustine.
Some of our newer rooms, Catherine's, Virginia's, Rebecca's and Alexandra's provide double jacuzzis, double head showers, queen beds and private balconies with bay views or partial bay views. There are jacuzzis in other rooms as well, for your romantic, candlelight, champagne moments.Our Menendez Room is our grandest room, facing the bay, with four windows with views, and has a fine collection of antique pieces. Menendez is located right off the front porch of our Victorian Inn. Walk out off the front entry and enjoy your complementary evening wine on the porch swing with its views of the bay, and its dolphin and sailboats, and watch the horse and carriages clip-clopping by. Menendez has a king bed, gas fireplace and a bath with a walk-in shower.
The Rosalinda Room is located on the first floor, is enhanced by a bay window which has views of the bay. Rosalinda has a king bed, a collection of fine antiques, a gas fireplace and a bath with claw foot tub and shower.Our Isabella Room is located on the second floor, directly facing the bay with four windows with bay views. Walk out to the second floor parlor and onto the second floor porch to enjoy our porch swings. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening complementary wine, and watch the dolphin play in the bay, the sailboats rocking in the breeze, and the horse and carriages clip-clopping by. Isabella has a king bed, original hardwood floors, and a walk-in shower bath.
The holiday season is a special time in St. Augustine. The "nights of lights" begin in mid-november and continue through January with the entire town participating, a magnificent show of white lights. Here, our guests enjoy the parlor fireplace on a cool winter night.Alison's Loft is one of the favorite rooms of our romantic young couples. It is the third floor loft of the main house, so is quite large, and has the slanted ceilings lending it a cozy air. The loft has a king bed and a double jacuzzi. The window next to the table and chairs looks out directly onto the bay.
Joy and Andrew Warren, the new proprietors (as of 5/09) of St Augustine's premier waterfront inn, the Bayfront Westcott House have recently painted the historic downtown inn to reflect its' maritime history. Located within walking distance to major tourist attractions, acclaimed restaurants, boutique shopping and water activities, this bed and breakfast inn promises to exceed your lodging expectations! Breakfast is served on our porches or in our courtyard, all of which have direct bay views. We have recently added a dining room for inclement weather, and you can special order breakfast in bed for two, with or without mimosas. We have a new, hungarian breakfast chef who is making some very exciting entrees and pastries.
