Bayfront Westcott House Bed & Breakfast Inn

I love the Bayfront Wescott House. The owners and staff are magnificent. It is always a wonderful experience. I will only stay at the Bayfront Wescott House on my visits to St. Augustine

We stayed at the Westcott House this past weekend while celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Our room was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We are already looking forward to staying there again someday.

Wonderful, luxurious sheets. The best ever French toast on Wednesdays and Sundays. Perfect location to walk to attractions and restaurants in St. Augustine. Welcoming staff were so warm and friendly. We can't wait to go back.

We had a lovely time and will definitely be back. The room was beautiful, everyone was so nice and friendly and the food was fantastic. We loved every minute !!!

We stayed here for two nights for our anniversary and it was the absolute best. The staff was so pleasant no matter what time it was or what the request is. The room was so spacious, had a beautiful view of the water and a bed more comfortable than ours at home. The breakfasts in the morning were so good you'd think your at a five star restaraunt. We cannot wait to go back!!!

What a great place to stay while exploring the old town of St. Augustine! Perfect in every way, from the waterfront location, within walking distance to everything from fort to art galleries to wineries; to the delicious hot breakfasts served in the mornings and complimentary happy hours in the evenings. Wonderful!!

We stayed there for my husband's 60th birthday. The service was wonderful and the rooms were first class. We were in the Catherine room which had a double balcony, Jacuzzi spa tub and double headed shower which was just great. Barbara, the inn keeper and all those working there were helpful in recommending places to visit and eat. We would recommend the Wescott House to our friends

Caught with 3 extra days on our hands in Jacksonville, Florida, my wife and I decided to check out St. Augustine. We had great meals everywhere we went to eat, but, the best meals and biggest smiles were our morning breakfast at Bayfront Westcott House. We have been blessed to travel all over the world, yet, we had as delightful stay at this bed and breakfast as anywhere else. I highly recommend them not only if you are looking for a B & B, but, if you plan on staying at least one night in St. Augustine. Perfect views, perfect staff and perfect location for seeing St. Augustine.

My third time here within the past year. We continue to come back and will come back in the future!!!! Excellent food, and excellent happy hour with wine and snacks provided. The house is decorated extremely well and you really feel like you are staying at a family members home. You can park your car and basically leave it because most of the good stuff is within walking distance.

Truly a wonderful and magical place in a magical location . Joy and her staff were very attentive to our needs without being intrusive . The feeling that this was home overwhelmed us the second day we were there and it never went away . At night we spent time relaxing on the front porch fielding questions from passerbys wondering what Westcott was like and after telling them how wonderful it truly was they would proceed to tell us their horror stories. The Westcott House has a lot of ambience. It is so romantic clean and the hospitality is wonderful. When we arrived the owner met us at our car. She helped with the luggage. This is our second time here and we will go back next year. The breakfast was great!

This is the first time my husband and I stayed at a B&B and was extremely pleased. The staff was excellent in providing tips on where to go for the best places to eat and touring. They were so friendly and helpful with everything. The Menendez room where we stayed was relaxing and very welcoming. The entire grounds the B&B was on was very peaceful. I will definitely be returning for another visit..

We have visited many B&B's over the years, but the Bayfront Westcott is by far the best we've ever encountered. The location to town can't be beat, as well as the wonderful inn itself. Our room had everything you could possibly want, but if you found you were in need of something, Joy and her staff were always there to assist. The breakfasts served daily are worth the stay alone, but also the beds and bedding are not to be missed! Needless to say, this is a top notch inn that all should experience. Patsy & Kevin

This was our first time in a B&B, and we really picked a terrific one, for our 2 night stay, in St. Augustine, FL. I cannot say enough good things about the owners, staff, breakfast foods, happy hours, comfortable places to relax, and our room was magnificent and clean. It was a large room, with elec. fireplace, private bath, plenty of towels, toiletries, ice bucket, bottles of water, or any type of beverage you desired, they had it. It was right across the street from the bay, and made for a relaxing time sitting on the front porch watching the watercraft, and people passing by. It was also convenient to the public trolley system, and was an easy walk to the historic district with many restaurants/shops near by. We'll definitely stay here again, and hope you do too......they have variety of rooms, so be sure to call personally and find out which one is just right for you. We'll be back!!

This has been my second stay the the Bayfront Westcott Inn. I went on both occasions with friends from Europe and India and we all agree that we loved the Inn. Each room is unique, taking you back in time. The staff is very well organized, extremely courteous yet personal. I cannot comment on dining since I ate in town, but the included breakfast includes everything I love about this time of day, in particular the southern style porch setting. I highly recommend this Inn to everybody who needs to get a break from hectic life.

It was great my wife and I went there for our honeymoon and they went way above and beyond anything you could want everyone was so nice and the place was so clean if you go to Saint Augustine this is the place to stay we will be back there agine and I have told all of our friends they must go there

My husband booked this online for my birthday. It was a surprise! We couldn't have stayed anywhere that I would have enjoyed more and we have traveled pretty extensively. I loved everything about this place......the huge rooms with REAL furniture (not hotel furniture), the hardwood floors, pretty bath/spa products, spa robes, afternoon wine/hors d'oeuvres, fresh baked cookies/coffee available all day, walking distance to restaurants/stores, view of bay, and staff that made us feel like family! We had balconies with wicker furniture and breakfast served to us on the porch or patio (room service was also available). how wonderful to sit outside at breakfast and gaze out at the boats coming and going in the bay! In the afternoon we sat on a chaise or swing and enjoyed a glass of wine and beer. We are already planning a return trip and we don't usually go to the same place twice so that says it all for Bayfront Wescott House!

We stayed at the Bayfron Westcott House for 2 days to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was wonderful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was great (LOVE the baked french toast and fresh fruit bowl). It was exactly what we were hoping for!

There are many places to stay in St Augustine but we don't believe any would compare to the Bayfront Westcott House. Everything is always so perfect that we never feel the need to look anywhere else. This was our 4th visit and each time we hate to leave. Whether you are there for one night or more the visit is always enjoyable. Joy, Andrew and their staff are so warm and welcoming making you feel that nothing is ever too much trouble. The rooms are lovely--very clean and comfortable. The breakfast just delicious! This is a beautiful Victorian-style home directly in front of the Bay in St. Augustine. Everything about our stay was wonderful--the food, the room, the kind hospitality. The Inn is within walking distance of the Old City in St. Augustine and many points of interest. A wonderful place to stay!

The Bayfront Westcott Inn Bed and Breakfast is an excellent choice for lodging in St.Augustine. They provided remarkable service for guests in our wedding group. My fiancee and I decided to have a little romantic vacation in St Augustine. He is in the navy and had just come home from an eight month deployment. I only had him for a few days before he had to go back to VA. I attend university in Orlando. The westcott treated us beautifully. The staff was amazing, very kind and knowledgeable. They provided us with great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We will be coming back to the Westcott.

This was our second stay at Bayfront Westcott House and we will definitely be back again. Each room is unique and decorated so beautiful and from the moment you arrive the staff make you feel so welcome. The breakfasts are amazing and the location perfect for easy access to the Historic District as well as the beach. This is one of the best B&B s I have ever stayed at.

It was a "Surprise" birthday gift for my boyfriend. This Bed and Breakfast was everything I hoped for and more. I asked for ice and wine glasses in our room upon arrival along with a gift (which I picked out) and it was wrapped beautifully for me. Our room was furnished beautifully and was extremely clean. There was happy hour with wine/beer/soda and homemade cakes. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. We made friends with a couple our age and exchanged phone numbers and email addresses and will be meeting up with them in the not so far future. They even take care of the parking, if you can not park free, they pay it for you. We would recommend Bayfront Westcott Bed and Breakfast to all....go and enjoy and write you own review...See you there!

A wonderful retreat for my husband and me after a busy and exciting vacation with our children and grandchildren

Stayed in the Minorcam room, EXTREMELY comfortable. This was an anniversary trip and could not have been better. The staff felt more like family than just working there. I have never stayed anywhere that made me feel so at home. My only complaint was we couldn't have stayed longer. But we will be back. Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

Having stayed at a few B&Bs in St Augustine and Key West, we had an idea of what it would be like at Westcott House. However we were pleasantly surprised to find it exceeeded our expectations on every level, especially the service

My boyfriend recently stayed at the Westcott for our first romantic getaway together. This place exceeded my expectations by far! The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Our room was absolutely amazing, beautifully decorated, very spacious, very clean, and just all around the perfect ambiance for our special escape. Oh and the food was to die for! I couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. Tips: -Definitely check out their Fact or Folklore evenings during the week, definitely an interesting and fun event! -Also, when making dining reservations and planning trips to the local attractions be sure to checkout the special deals they have in conjunction with.

My husband and I came here for a little R&R and got soooo much more. It is like coming home but better. Everything we could think of was taken care of and catered to. We stayed in the Alison and had so much fun. It was so quaint and quiet we lost track of time.. with 3 kids at home, that's impresive!! The breakfasts were to die for!!! You NEED to try their Stuffed French Toast... I have never had something so wonderful for breakfast. Also, they have a lady named Erin that gives such a wonderful massage in you room, she is great and leaves you so relaxed. We also met great people at the social hour. It was fun to sit and talk to other guests while enjoying the sunset. Overall, the best vacation I have had ever!! Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness. We will most definitly be back!

Our first visit here to St. Augustine. We couldn't have picked a more perfect spot. Superb B & B. Joy and her staff greeted us with open arms. They arranged for a carriage ride that picked us up right here at the B & B. Awesome service, excellent food and very friendly atmosphere. Perfectly located right on the bay and in the midst of the historic downtown district. We visited in August and there was a breeze there all the time allowing us to enjoy the awesome porches. Beautiful rooms with all the little extras. We would highly recommend staying here! We will be back!

We hav been to Wescott House a number of times and this is the most Beautiful,Excellent B&B In St Augustine. The Host are gracious, the girls that serve breakfast and in the office are most efficient. The rooms are spectacular and clean. All that you would want in a B&B.

I could not be more happy with my stay here. My wife and I received professional and courteous reception, the food was great, and the room adorable. Not to mention the location was perfect, so close to everything we parked our car and did not use it again till we left as could walk everywhere we wanted to go.

We traveled to St. Augustine along with 5 other couples to enjoy a weekend of concerts at the city’s amphitheatre. I was the party’s travel coordinator and selected the Bayfront Westcott House from its ad listing on the Florida Vacation Auction. Three in our party had never been to St. Augustine before so making sure everyone was happy was important to me. The waterfront location of the Bayfront Westcott House was ideal, it was easy walking distance to old town, the trolley stops and local restaurants and bars, yet still situated in a quiet location that was perfect for our rests between activities. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bedding was superb – and since my wife is a CFO of a mattress company we consider ourselves qualified critics. The breakfasts and afternoon receptions were both amble and delicious, and Innkeeper Joy Warren and her staff provided great care and hospitality. I highly recommend the Bayfront Westcott House Bed & Breakfast to anyone visiting St. Augustine.

We were greeted by Megan who offered us something to drink and proceeded to check us in in a comfortable living room. She explained everything in detail and was courteous and friendly. She was the beginning of what was a wonderful experience. The whole B&B was beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. Our room was comfortable, clean with plenty of amenities. The social hour was a great way to relax before heading on our arranged cruise on the schooner Freedom. All I can say about the breakfasts is "FABULOUS". Friendly and great service for everything we needed. On top of all that, we felt like we were a part of the family by the time we left......and oh yeah, how many places would ask you would you like something to drink for the road as you're leaving. It's close to everything. We parked our car when we checked in and never needed the whole time we were there. The Westcott is the best venue on the Bay. Charming, yet eloquent Inn offers panoramic views on their spacious outdoor porch decks. Steps away from dinning and all that the historic city has to offer. Our hosts and their staff were courteous and resourceful. Truly a home away from home. Late afternoon social hour can't be beat as you enjoy fine food and drink from the porch as sailing ships pass by in front of you. Just a matter of time before we return.

We have visited St. Augustine roughly 9 times over the past thirteen years. We have discovered a treasure in the Wescott House B&B. Their hospitality was superb; the food was excellent; and we felt very welcome and at home.

My husband and I live in Wisconsin. We look foward to our visits to Florida every year. Our favorite town to spend a weekend is St. Augustine and the best part about our stay is the westcott bayfront B&B. Everything from the beautiful views to the personified service we receive at the Westcott makes us come back year after year. We love the cocktail hour in the evening and nothing could top the delicious breakfast in the morning. We can't wait til our next visit!!

We stayed in the Third Floor Room. The angled ceiling in this room needs to be paid attention to but otherwise the room was better than perfect. Plenty of extra towels, jetted tub, view of the Intracoastal Waterway, and luxurious bed. Happy Hour lasted one & 1/2 hours so you don't need to be "on time". And breakfast was made to order for my dietitian wife and myself and everything was better than Perfect. I only live 25 miles away and can't wait to return!

Bed & Breakfasts are, in theory, warm and inviting, with "guests" made to feel right at home. In practice, we don't often leave a B&B saying that we'd like to move in...permanently! The innkeepers indulged our breakfast requests (we preferred omelets to the quiche and muffins...although everyone else raved about the specials of the morning), and best of all was our room...the Alison, on the top of the stairs, had a view of the water, and a whirlpool tub and four complete sets of thick, soft towels, a fabulous king bed with fine linens, reading lamps for both sides of the bed. ....AND they offer a 'social hour' with wine, beer and snacks...AND the location is perfect, parking easy. A PERFECT retirement gift from my coworkers! Joy, Andrew & their staff were absolutely charming! Our room - The Isabella - was beautiful and immaculate with a gorgeous bayfront view. We started each day with a delicious breakfast on the veranda surrounded by a lovely garden. We were served tasty hors d' oeuvres in the afternoon and after a day of sightseeing returned to the BnB to find yummy homemade cookies waiting for our bedtime treat! Our 49th anniversary was spent at the Bayfront Westcott House B&B, and it was absolutely wonderful! Joy and Andrew are terrific hosts. We were treated like family and that was how we felt. The Westcott House was perfect to celebrate our anniversary. Anyone wanting to have a perfect visit to St. Augustine should stay at the Westcott.

The Westcott Bed & Breakfast is fabulous, and was even more spectacular than we had expected. From the wonderful accommodations to the fabulous breakfast on the verandah overlooking the bay, every detail was pleasant. Joy and the staff have a real passion for what they do, and that is evident in the paramount service that they provide.

This was our 5th stay at the Westcott. We LOVE St. Augustine and have stayed at other B&Bs, but always choose to go back to the Westcott. Joy and the staff are always willing to accommodate any request with a smile, the rooms are beautiful, the food is sooo delicious, and you cannot beat the location. The bay views are gorgeous and plenty to do within walking distance. We rarely even move our car. We just returned home today, and we are already planning our next trip!

St Augustine was the destination wedding site for our daughter. Each and every room used by our family and friends were lovely. We were treated like kings and queens. Joy and her wonderful staff provided all the amenities we could dream of. It provided the perfect location, breakfast, cocktail hour, cookies, comfy beds, spotless rooms and lovely surroundings. We stayed in Virginia's room -- on the 2nd floor, very quiet and private. Huge shower and jacuzzi in room. Wonderful breakfast every morning on the porch overlooking the bay. Cheese and crackers and wine/beer every evening before dinnertime. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We absolutely loved staying here and would come back. We walked everywhere -- the location is perfect.

I treated my mother to a trip to Saint Augustine for her 65th birthday and we stayed at the Bayfront Westcott House in the Esmeralda Room. The inn was beautifully kept, the view from the porches were magnificent, the rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Jean greeted us upon arrival and made us feel instantly welcomed and at home. She offered great advice on local dining and attractions as well as provided us with everything we needed for our stay. In the morning, Angie, Kayla, and Isabel created the most delicious breakfasts. There was plenty of coffee, teas, and a relaxing social hour between 5-7pm each night when they served wine and cheese. Everyone at Westcott was very friendly, including the other guests. In addition to the fantastic bay view, The Westcott is in walking distance to just about everything in historic Saint Augustine. We could walk to the Red Train stop to take a tour around the city and/or walk to the Castillo de San Marcos, the museums, shops, and St. George Street. Westcott's location is perfect for those who don't want to drive everywhere. The Westcott's parking lot was about three blocks away, down Bridge street, but since we left the car there once parked, it didn't matter at all. The lot was nice and spacious and I felt very comfortable parking there (as opposed to parking on the narrow streets and feeding the meter all day). Lot parking was included with our stay. We are looking forward to returning to The Bayfront Westcott House. They are 5 stars in service, location, comfort, and friendliness. TIPS: The Esmeralda room is close to the office and the neighbor's gazebo is right outside the window. Not a problem (was not noisy), but if you want a fantastic view, choose the Catherine room (2nd floor in carriage house) or the Anastasia room in the main house (2nd floor) which also has a double Jacuzzi.

I have stayed in this particular B&B 3 times. This last time was perhaps not my favorite, but I would still go back in a heartbeat. When we arrived the usual person was not there and the girl that was, was slightly abrupt (not something I'm used to from Joy or Andrew, the owners or the other girl that's usually there..sorry can't remember her name). The rooms are very nice and if there's anything you need, they don't hesitate to help you out. I don't recommend that you bring kids, it really is a great place for couples and although Joy was wonderful in making sure that the kids had all they needed, the rooms aren't really large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. Breakfast is wonderful here and they do a social hour (1 1/2 really) from 5:30 to 7 I think, and the snacks are delicious Overall, you really should check this place out, its close to everything..food, entertainment, shopping..everything. My wife and I have stayed at many B&B's, and Bayfront Westcott House was without a doubt one of the best... if not the best we've ever encountered. Our room was very neat and well appointed, and the breakfasts were absolutely amazing. Wine and chesse in the evening, on the porch overlooking the bay, was a wonderful way to top off the day. Joy and her staff were attentive and friendly. Unbeknownst to us when we booked, the Wescott is ideally situated within walking distance to the main attractions in St. Augustine. We had a marvelous time, and will definately return next time we're in St. Augustine.

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year Anniversary at the Westcott House in the Mirocan room...It was amazing! Our 1st bed and breakfast experience was a success! We loved the staff, room and the great gourmet breakfasts! Best vacation yet! Thanks!!!!!

We stayed in Emma's room and it was perfect. We found the Westcott on line and was not sure what to expect. The Westcott was so charming and the staff was wonderful. I could not have been happier with our visit.

We stayed in the Victoria Room in January. When we walked in, my wife said this was the nicest room we have ever stayed in. She gave Joy a big hug and thanked her for providing such a nice place. We sat on the deck and looked at the water and also could see the TV and watch the football game. I was in heaven. Everything was outstanding. This was very plush. The only faults I found was that the toilet was about 6 inches lower than the main floor and I forgot to step down and almost fell. The other fault was with the big tub for two, there was not enough hot water to make it usable. The room was so nice that these two things could be overlooked. I would highly recommend staying at this B & B. It is beautiful and the owners go way beyond what it takes to make you happy.

My fiancé and I came down from Jacksonville for a one night stay and a quick getaway, however with the beautiful room, view, and ambiance of the Inn, we did not want to leave. Had life not been waiting for us in Jacksonville, we would have opted to stay the rest of the weekend. Fortunately, we do make frequent trips to St. Augustine for mini vacays so we will definitely be back!

This is our second stay at Bayfront Westcott B & B and it will not be our last. This time my husband and I came for a long weekend anniversary (15 years) and birthday (not saying how many years!) celebration and have truly enjoyed ourselves. The accommodations are unsurpassed. Each room is exquisitely appointed, with a careful eye for aesthetics and comfort. We stayed in the uniquely charming Allison's Loft. The hospitality has been warm and attentive and the food lovingly prepared. My special breakfast requests were honored and presented beautifully. It will be hard to leave and get back to reality!

i have to say this b & b is the best one ive ever stayed at, very romantic,relaxing. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and accomidating. food was awesome. room was absolutly beautiful. soooo clean and up to date. we loved staying in the alison loft, if your tall id say choose another room the ceilings are very low but i loved that it made it sooo cozy. the firplace and hot tub bath were great. the window view is so nice of the bay. the owners were sooooo nice and made sure we had everything we needed. i hadnt been to st augustine in 15 yrs or more and i have to say this is by far the best bed and breakfast in the city. we cannot wait to go back and stay in all the neat rooms they have. all have names and stories behind them and we just loved it we were sad to leave when out stay was over cant wait to go back in march over spring break. see u all soon. thanks soo much the wonderful stay.

My husband and I just returned yesterday from an amazing weekend getaway for his 50th Birthday. The best Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed at! From the moment I made our reservation to check out, we received 5 star service! Joy Warren (owner) made us feel like royalty and was so gracious and kind. She actually came out to our car to personally escort me to our room while my husband parked the car! We stayed in "Victoria's Room." wow, it was breathtakingly gorgeous, with the best view of all the rooms..of course, all the views are great...but we had a room in the front part, with a huge balcony. They delivered breakfast (delicious!) every morning and we ate on our balcony while enjoying the waterfront view (Bridge of Lions and various boats, yachts, people strolling). Every evening, we were treated to complimentary appetizers and wine (yummy!..and they served top quality wine!) We also enjoyed hanging out in the peaceful courtyard and meeting other guests. Joy took care of our every need...from last minute dinner reservations to recommendations for local excursions...it was so nice to just sit back and not stress about anything! Needless to say, we were very impressed with the Bayfront Wescott B&B, with its refined beauty and tranquility! I would recommend the Bayfront Wescott B&B 100% and we will be returning often! Great place. You are within walking distance to St. George St and the Square. Lots of shops and places to eat. It has a breathtaking view of the Matanzas Bay and the Bridge of Lions. The room and the whole place was tastefully decorated. The staff including the owner herself was very accommodating and very friendly. The guests that we met were wonderful and everybody is like a big family. Awesome breakfast we had- Baked French Toast!

We will go back again, and again and go back again. The Bayfron Westcott was the highlight of our four night Christmas vacation in St. Augustine. The room was clean, with all amenities, as described. The location of the B&B was outstanding, near all attractions and restaurants, and bars. Sitting on the porch and watching the ships go by was a treat. The breakfasts were top quality and varied [we were given choices each day, what B&B offers that?]. Most important, the service was exceptional. They love what they do and it shows. We went to St Augustine to view the Christmas Lights, Joy sold us the tickets for the trolley to take us around. She also gave us excellent choices for resturaunts and other things to do. The rooms were wonderful, the bathrooms large with everything available for our comfort. The food was excellent and the viws from the porch where we had breakfast just wonderful. Staff was very friendly always with smiles and greetings. Plan to go again.

Our family of four just spent the four-day Thanksgiving holiday at the Bayfront Westcott House in St. Augustine FL. We loved the whole experience and we would love to visit many more times! Every detail made us feel as though we were being pampered. First of all, I wasn't prepared for the setting to be so breathtakingly beautiful - right on the water, overlooking the bay, the Bridge of Lions, the beautiful boats and the distant lighthouse. It is located in the middle of the most charming historic district, and only a couple of short blocks from the shops! Our daughters (ages 17 & 20) were just as pleased as we were with the beautiful inn, special homemade breakfasts, delicious 'happy-hour' treats, and especially the servant-hearted owners and staff. Our room for four (Esmerelda) was large and comfortable and so quiet we felt as though we were the only ones there at night. Even though the B&B was fully booked, we felt completely spoiled and Joy spent time giving us advice on what to do and where to eat each day, as did her sweet staff. I was afraid the internet may have made it sound too good to be true, but I don't think the reviews I had read did it justice! We'll never stay anywhere else in that part of Florida.

The Westcott is a wonderful historic B&B in St Augustine. It has the best views of the bay, clean and well appointed rooms, great location and close proximity to everything,the friendly staff and owners are welcoming and available with a friendly hello and interesting facts about the history regarding their B&B, great gourmet breakfast and evening coctail hour.

Joy and Andrew and their staff were wonderful in accommodating our needs to get ready for our big day. The breakfasts were delicious and the grounds were beautiful for photos. We will return for our 10 year :)

This was a lovely and charming B&B. It was well located and within walking distance to the historical sites in St. Augustine. The staff was very attentive and the breakfasts were delicious.

We had a great time at this B&B. We started with fantastic massages in the room, then went to the evening social and enjoyed wine and nice snacks. Then we went on the First Friday Art Walk, got back with tired feet and jumped int the jacuzzi. Slept like a rock, had a fantastic breakfast, and wished we had another day to do it all again.

We can not say enough about the Westcott House! We were married there in the courtyard and their on staff coordinator and officiant was so helpful, it was stress free and beautiful. The service could not have been better and the extras are worth every penny. We will most certainly return for another stay.

I got a few days off and we decided to go to St Augustine, I picked the B&B off the internet. We have been to a few B&B before in England, Ireland, and The US and this one was the best by far. The Host and the staff did an exceptional job in making sure you felt at home and all your needs were met.

Everything about Bayfront Wescott was absolutely first class. The home is beautifully decorated and carefully maintained. The staff was gracious and helpful. The breakfast and afternoon drinks were lovely. All the details were covered, right down to a good bed, excellent pillows and nice linens. The house is in easy walking distance of all of St. Augustine's historic sites. Joy and Andrew were the perfect hosts. Thank you so much for a great weekend.

We were staying at the Westcott because a friend was getting married and suggested we stay there for the time of the wedding. It was our first time staying at a B & B. We were made to feel welcomed and special from the time we arrived until we departed. For those who love the B & B experience, this is a must try!!!

Such a lovely place, wonderful attentiveness by Joy and her staff, nice hot made-to-order breakfasts on the veranda, wine and cheese in late afternoon, comfy rooms and mattresses, tub jets were great and appreciated. Can't miss on this one.

On the weekend before Mother's Day, my mom and I took a chance on this bed and breakfast and found it exceeded what we had expected from reading the website. We had a wonderful experience - the owners are great! We will never stay anywhere else. MMMM. My mouth is watering from the excellent breakfasts. I also liked that the metered street parking in front of the b&b is free to handicapped persons. (So sorry this has taken so long to respond.)

We had a wonderful stay at the Westcott B&B and highly recommend staying here! The breakfasts & evening socials were delicious! The location is fantastic and we walked almost everywhere! The owners and staff are friendly and so helpful!! Our room, The Isabella, was on the 2nd floor and had amazing views of the Mantanzas Bay from the bedroom and the balcony outside the room!!

Never in my life have I been so happy to have had a hurricane; without Irene's appearance, we never would have discovered this beautiful bed and breakfast! Not only is the breakfast absolutely delicious, it's located within easy walking distance from historical attractions, restaurants, museums, and shops. The owners are and staff are very sweet, and I'm almost certain that the housekeeping are also trained in the art of ninjitsu with how quickly and stealthily they attended to the room! The room we stayed in was gorgeous; the sheets were the softest I've ever felt, and the jacuzzi tub was a real treat! There will be nothing stopping me from planning another trip back to The Wescott House, and I can't get back soon enough!

Rooms equaled my expectations because I visited the site online beforehand - which I'd recommend to any one anticipating a stay at the Westcott. Service and staff were genuinely accommodating and hospitable. Since dining is not available ( it IS a B&B), dining consisted of a social hour with complimentary hors d' oeuvres and wine/beer.

The Bayfront Westcott House is a B & B unlike any other. We felt as though we were staying with family whose goal it was to make our visit perfect. A few words to describe Joy, Andrew and the staff…charming, gracious, attentive, accommodating. The pictures on the website are authentic with truth in that which is available and then some. The food, delicious in taste with gourmet presentation, and the service perfect! Every need or request we had was met and some anticipated without having to ask. Local restaurant menus were available for guest reviews, and suggestions made for both restaurants and activities to suit your taste. It was quiet, restful, beautiful and comfortable. The Westcott is an excellent value without regret. Beautifully located on the bay with easy transportation to all that St. Augustine has to offer. Just an overall excellent place to stay. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Joy and her staff were very warm, friendly and welcoming, something you don't normally experience at a commercial establishment. We would have stayed longer had there been a vacancy. Needless to say we will be going back.

This was our first bed & breaksfast stay and we we loved it. The room was comfortable and extremely beautiful. We chose a room facing the ocean front to awaken to sunlight and the view. Service was exceptional, the staff was very polite and friendly, and the breakfasts were above expectations. We spent a lot of time looking for a special location for our 25th anniversary and we are very happy with Bayfront Wescott House. They will be included in our future travels to St. Augustine.

The room and the house were both charming. It was very private, we came and went as we pleased. The breakfast and the social hour both had delicious food. All the staff were very pleasant and eager to please. The room was clean and comfortable. The final touch was the cookies that were waiting in the front foyer when we came in at night.

Recently my wife and I were on vacation in St. Augustine and we stayed at the Bayfront Westcott House. When we arrived we were greeted by Joy to register in. She was very pleasent, helpful and full of information. As a matter of fact everyone at this B&B was so friendly and pleasent to be around.We found that the room in which stayed was very nice and had everything we needed. This House is located so that you can park your car in their parking lot and not have to use it again. You can walk to Old Town, Resturants and several of the Attractions from here. I and my wife enjoyed the evenings after dinner just sitting on the porch on second floor, swinging on the swing and visiting with other guests. We left there relaxed, renewed and will difinately be returning for several more visits in the future.

Great "home base" for Floridian east coast exploration. The owners and staff were terrific and the accommodations were romantic and relaxing. Very pleasant B&B where you can explore St. Augustine or just hang out if the Wx is unpleasant. Great views, dolphin sightings from the porch, and overall comfortable and relaxing. My husband & I celebrated o wedding anniversary on June 25 & stayed 2 nights at the Bayfront Westcott, from the time we arrived we were made to feel welcome, clean rooms, great breakfast. We were really impressed and had a wonderful two night stay. Will stay at the Wescott House again and recommend it to all our family and friends. Really enjoyed the view of the harbor and boats from the front porch. I doubt there is a better place in St. Augustine for view, location, comfort and convenience. Owners and staff were outstanding. Everything about the Bayfront Westcott was first class. The people, the food and the room were excellent. Andrew and his staff go out of their way to make sure that you enjoy every minute that you are there. We could not have asked for a more pleasant stay.

We chose the intimate Elopement Wedding on the balcony of the Westcott House on 25 May this year and everything was absolutely perfect. A big thank you goes to Jamie who married us for a beautiful, simple yet moving service. A big thank you also to Jeanne for our lovely photos. Joy, Andrew and staff's friendliness and attention to detail with flowers, cake, champagne and carriage ride made it a truly wonderful day that we will remember always. We stayed two nights in Alexandra's room (109) which was beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast with delicious pastries both mornings on the terrace overlooking the bay and it felt like paradise. The nibbles, wine and beer at 5pm - 7pm were tasty and informal and gave us a chance to meet the other guests and share our Wedding cake. We made use of the beach package next day which had everything you could need from chairs, umbrella, towels and a very tasty picnic and we had a wonderful day at the beach The location of Westcott House is perfect as within a few minutes walk you are right in the heart of St Augustine with its many cafes’, restaurants and bars. Everything exceeded our expectations and we were very sad to leave. We would certainly recommend Westcott House with its wonderful charm, friendly laid back approach and top quality accommodation

My husband arranged a surprise weekend getaway and this place was extraordinary! They recommended a restaurant which had grouper cooked to perfection! They scheduled in room massages and a horse drawn carriage ride after dinner which picked us up from the front door. It was truly a magical visit to remember. One which we will definately want to repeat!

Ambiance, service and property exceeded my expectations. Pleasantly surprised that somewhere in Florida the innkeepers are concerned about their guests welfare, needs and rather than in the monetary aspect. They went out of their way to make sure we had a driver to deliver us to the restaurant and return us without it being an issue. Would recommend it to couples who need to rejuvenate a relationship.. A must for the romantic!!!!

This was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and thought we would try it. The Bayfront Westcott House Bed and Breakfast exceeded our expectations. Everyone was so helpful and even made dinner reservations for us. The room was very spacious and the king size bed was so comfortable. We plan on going back during the Christmas season to see all the lights in St. Augustine.

Most Enjoyable, Outstanding Experience, Attention to Detail, Pampered! Where do we begin? Joy and Andrew continue to provide all of the above and more. Returning to the East Coast, my wife and I were so looking forward to our 2nd visit to St. Augustine and the Bayfront Westcott House. From the English Garden charm with it's quaint fountain, where we shared a wonderful breakfast overlooking the St. Augustine bay, to watching Dolphin glide by and enjoying the afternoon wine, cheese and crackers from the 2nd story porch swing. Staying at the BWH has now become a Top Stay for my wife and myself when traveling to the South East. Each visit brings a new definition to the term "Stress Relief" and how life should be relished. Our room was just plain fun and the bed let us sleep like we haven't in years. We came away from this stay refreshed and invigorated! The spa tub was a superb treat after a wonderful day of Cruiser Riding at Anastasia State Park, well recommended by the Warren's. All in all, BWH, Top Knotch. Thank you Joy and Andrew!

What a wonderful stay we had at the Bayfront Westcott House B & B! The location was perfect, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops! We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard or on the porch to eat breakfast or just relax and enjoy the ocean breeze and beautiful view! Our room was spectactular and offered every comfort, from the kingsize bed to the double jacuzzi and the electric fireplace. My husband and I chose this B&B for our first stay in St. Augustine after reviewing it online for it's location, amenities and high ratings. We were not disappointed. We have stayed at many a B&B and this rates up there now as one of our best experiences. We visited St. Augustine for the very first time for a long weekend getaway and were looking for an upscale B&B in a great location. We searched the internet and found the Bayside Wescott and are delighted that we did. The proprietors and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and made our stay a delight. They helped us select the right room, made great restaurant recommendations and even made reservations for us. The B&B was also ideally situated with a beautiful view of the bay and just a very short walk from the attractions and restaurants in historic St. Augustine. After now spending some time there and becoming familiar with the place, we could not have made a better selection for our accommodations. Our room was wonderful and the service exemplary. This made the whole experience peaceful, romantic and serene. Even the breakfasts and hors d'oeuvres each evening were surprisingly good and the setting on the balconies and patio a pure pleasure. We hope to return in the future for another stay and are looking forward to retuning to this really great find. Thanks to everyone there again for everything. We hope to see you again soon!

The Westcott is an outstanding B&B. The service is truly superb. I just completed my third visit. They first time I stayed there, it was being operated by its former owners. So, it was a delightful surprise on my second visit in January to find out how much had been freshened and improved by the new owners, Joy and Warren. They love their work and it shows from the moment you arrive. You are invited to have a seat in the dining room and offered some refreshment while Joy meticulously orients you to St. Augustine. I just finished my third visit, four months after the second. I was amazed and delighted when the young women serving breakfast remembered that I was a tea drinker AND that I like English Breakfast. There are beach chairs and umbrellas that can be borrowed and a delightful happy hour every afternoon. I love the views of the inland waterway and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy it. This B&B is also conveniently located within walking distance to the center of town and the many attractions there including Flagler College, the Lightner Museum, art galleries, restaurants and live music spots.

The inn is beautiful with a relaxing view of the bay. Joy and Andrew were wonderful hosts always ready with recommendations on restaurants and attractions. The perfect way to enjoy twilight was to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and good company.

We have stayed at many B&B's and this is certainly one of the best. Besides the great amenities it is also in a great location. Close to the main attractions but very quiet and peaceful.

Great location for the main shopping and dinning area about 15 min walk. Very friendly owners and staff with a high level of service. The complimentary wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres was a great way to start the evening. Free parking about a 10 min walk. I had never stayed in a B&B before this last weekend. I was not sure if the cost of the stay would equal to the price of the room, since they are more than normal hotel rooms. But I was blown away. When we got there, the owner was on premises to greet us and check us in. We were invited to the social hour that afternoon for drinks and appetizers. We had breakfast every morning served but there courteous staff while watching the sunrise over the intercoastal waterway. When we go back to St Augustine next we will certainly be staying at the Westcott B&B again.

Beautiful accomodations that overlook the inlet in St. Augustine. It is so relaxing to sit out on the porch/patio and watch the boats go by while eating breakfast or enjoying a glass of wine at the evening social hour. The owners and staff make you feel so special. The service is excellent and the food is awesome.Would recommend that B&B for a special occasion or for a recharging of the battery.

After last years stay at the Bayfront Wescott B&B, we decided to make it a tradition. We were so relaxed and happy to have everything we wanted in walking distance. This year, 2nd annual, was no exception. The owners were very pleasant and greeted us everytime we saw them. The rooms are immaculate, with the "Old World" feel of St. Augustine. By no means does that mean they are dirty or dark. Our room this past trip had a shower for 2 as well as a garden jacuzzi tub for 2, perfect for our anniversary trip! :) The Breakfast was delicious, as it was last year, and the service was quick. We ate our breakfast on the porch overlooking the river, watching the sailboats go by. This past time, there was an Irish festival going on off of St. George's St. They had Comp tickets that they offered us. Just another way they went out of their way to make sure our stay was wonderful. We were only able to stay one night both times so we parked on the street out front of the inn. They even payed the parking meter for us...... Can't say enough about this wonderful place.

Joy and Andrew, as well as their entire staff, could not be more customer-focused. They thought of everything. There is not one suggestion that we could offer to improve on their hospitality. Because we are frequent “bed and breakfast-ers”, we have a vast array of experience. Our stay at the Bayfront Wescot House could not have been more enjoyable. In fact, it was tremendous! The location is ideal for walking the bay and historic and shopping sections of St. Augustine, breakfast and Hors d'œuvres were both scrumptious and plentiful, and the rooms were beautiful, quiet, cozy and comfy. Don’t look anywhere else – you’ll get it all at the Bayfront Wescott House for a great value!

Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners who were very cordial. It took only minutes to be shown our beautiful room. All antique furniture with modern ammenities. Very helpful staff. Provided a cocktail hour with wonderful snacks. Given a breakfast menu that left nothing to be desired. Breakfast was served either in the small inside dining area, on the terrace or in the garden. The view of the bay from the terrace and garden were lovely. The staff was excellent and knowledgable.

Great affordable Romance Package. Worth every penny. Staff is remarkable

After extensive research, I chose Bayfront Westcott House and was far from disappointed with my decision. On the first day in town, I noticed all the other bed and breakfast places that I had seen online and none of them compared to the charm, beauty, and location. As beautiful and as well preserved are most of the buildings and inns throughout St Augustine, the Bayfront Westcott House shines above the rest. It is a short walking distance to everything to do in the historic city and just across the street from the marina. It is just close enough to seem next door to all the excitement but just far enough to be lost in a romantic paradise filled with the most comfortable beds and incredible jacuzzi tubs. I can not say enough about the beauty and charm of this place. The staff and owners of the Bayfront Westcott House are so nice and all seem to want to make you feel right at home. Well, a home where you are treated like kings and the rooms just seem to clean themselves in the blink of an eye while you are having some of the most tasteful and elegant breakfasts you can imagine. No one was every in the way but was always there if you needed or wanted something. I would like to especially thank Jeanne who was always very sweet and helpful and always seemed to be there no matter the time of day or night. Also thank you to Angie, for the initial phone call that made the decision to stay at the Bayfront Westcott House for me. She described the place with such love and southern charm and even provided tips for other things to do that I knew that even if I could save a few dollars somewhere else it would not be worth it. My wife and I both never once regretted staying at the Bayfront Westcott House. Our only regret was that time could not stand still and our 5 days had to end. The Westcott House has it all, on the Matanzas Bay, historical but comfortable, a location to go within in a block to all of the sites in St. Augustine - which is one of the hidden secrets for "old town" discovery, great for walking, can park your car. Ride in a trolley around the entire 20 blocks, a horse drawn carriage in the day or evening. Wonderful breakfasts each day, a balcony with swings to view the sun come up and the moon light the bay. Truly a great place!

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary at the Westcott House. We spent 3 incredible evenings in the Isabella room. We have never been to a bed and breakfast, and after staying here we do not think that any other will compare. The food was delicious and the staff was a few notches above anything we have ever experienced. Normally, we stay in 4 star hotels for our trips so our expectations were high! I highly recommend the Bayfront Westcott house to anyone that enjoys a relaxing atmosphere and friendly people. We cannot wait to stay again!

My wife and I have stayed at the Westcott house for our aniversary two years running. We already have plans on making it three. We have stayed in different rooms, and both were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, taking time to answer questions and tell stories. They make you feel at home! I can't forget to mention the breakfast, and the free happy hour of beer, wine, cheese and crackers. This B&B is a must see and I would recomend it for anyone staying one night or one week! I visited with my husband for a long weekend anniversary retreat. We had a fantastic time during our stay. The location is perfect, close to everything (attractions, shopping and dining). The property is beautiful, rooms are comfy and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the oversized jacuzzi tub. My favorite thing was being able to see dolphins playing in the bay while we enjoyed breakfast on the porch. The service was exceptional! Joy & Andrew were very friendly and helpful with arranging reservations, directions, etc.... In fact, all the staff was exceptional! We look forward to another visit at the Bayfront Westcott House, hopefully soon.

We come to Florida from time to time to vist friends from NE and on our recent visit, stayed at the Bayfront Westcott House B&B in St. Augustine. Joy and Andrew Warren have brought immeasureable wealth of Service, Atmosphere and Relaxation to the St. Augustine area. Their abundant knowledge of food preparation, presentation and wine selection is well appreciated by both clientele staying at the B&B and from walkin in referrals. The staff are quick to acknowledge patrons and to take care of all your needs. Relaxing on a porch swing, watching boats traverse the bay, taking a stroll through old St. Augustine or just enjoying the afternoon faire and wine made for a very enjoyable stay at the Bayfront Westcott House. We highly recommend a stay there when you visit the St. Augustine area.

Excellent experience. The inn is a beautiful historic building on the bay...easy walking distance from most St. Augustine attractions, but quiet. The staff was wonderful and the breakfasts were great.

I was looking for a special place to host my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and stumbled upon this gem when my husband and I were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary. The rooms are beautiful! The view from the porch while eating breakfast is amazing. And the innkeepers.....are unbelievable! Joy and Andrew provided much needed support as we planned for my parents memorable weekend....and upon my parents' arrival they made them feel so special. They even secretly assissted us as we orchestrated a huge family surprise! My parents are still talking about the amazing weekend they had at the Westcott House!

Absolutely love Westcott House- from the beautiful rooms to the amazing, personalized breakfasts, then to the classy evening snacks, this place is top notch. This is the best boutique hotel we´ve ever been. They offer what they promise and even more. Our room was exactly as displayed in the web and the hotel is awesome, cozy and comfortable. The staff´s a great attitude and the owners are really great hosts. A place to remember with a smile !!!

Spent the Thanksgiving holiday at the Bayfront Westcott and it was wonderful. Joy and Andrew couldn't have been nicer and were wonderful hosts. Always asking if you needed or wanted anything whenever you saw them and always had a smile for you. When we left we felt like we had made new friends. We were in Abigail's room which was in the back of the house and very peaceful. We still had a nice view of the bay and could hear the clip clop of the horses as they went by the back road. The bathroom was gorgeous, I'd like it at home, whirlpool tub and separate shower. We'll be back for sure.

This was an awesome experience. The staff was so kind and ready to serve. They pointed out the things that were included with the stay. They treated us like we were very special! The food was excellent. The parking was FREE. (a little far, but not too bad). The room was beautiful, clean and felt like it was our own home. It was nice being able to pick the time you wanted to have your breakfast and to choose what you wanted to eat and drink. I just wasn't sure how to get the staff's attention at times when we needed something, but once they saw me needed them, they were more than ready to serve.

What a wonderful place. This was the first time my husband and I had ever stayed in a bed and breakfast and we will never stay in another hotel. The location is perfect if you are looking for something within walking distance of everything downtown. The parking lot is several blocks away from the Inn, but the staff is nice enough to feed the parking meter until it is convenient for you to move your car. For us, it was until the next day. The room was incredle. Everything was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! I can't even say enough about the staff. They were all very kind and very helpful. They were great with recommending things to do and places to eat since this was our first visit to St Augustine. We will absolutely return to this bed and breakfast should we visit St Augustine again

Our stay at the Bayfront Westcott could not have been better! It was one of the best B&B's that we have ever experienced. We would give it a 10 in every category. Andrew and Joy, the innkeepers, and the staff,go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. We would highly recommend the Bayfront Westcott.
