Wonderful stay, we stayed in room 204 very nice room, extremely comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and so was the afternoon tea or social hour. Inn keeper Ryan was very helpful and all our needs were met. Would definitely recommend it, for the comfort and the accessibility to everything in old town. The only drawback was the partial view of the bay, it is really a partial view. But worth the money anyway.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Bayfront Wescott Inn! Unfortunately could only stay for one night, but will definitely be back for a longer visit the next time!! One of the best bed and breakfast Inn's that I have ever stayed at. Very much looking to returning for an extended stay.

We just completed a girls trip this weekend in the beautiful town of St. Augustine!! Could not have asked for a better experience!! We stayed in the Menendez Room and thoroughly enjoy our stay! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a pleasant one! The food was excellent! Didn't have anything bad to eat while we enjoyed our stay here! Zoey was on her "A" game in everything!! She welcomed us and explained things to us and always had a huge smile to give us!! Could not think of a better place to stay!! This is definitely a return place for us!!

I loved everything about this bed and breakfast. The location is walking distance to st George street but still far enough away that it is quiet at night. All of the staff I encountered went above and beyond to take care of my boyfriend and I. The staff I met included Joy, the owner, Lisa, and Zoe. They were all super friendly and helpful whenever needed. We ordered the breakfast in bed with mimosas for a small fee and felt so spoiled. It was totally worth the extra money and the food was delicious. They also have free drinks and appetizers on the late afternoon which was a plus. Parking was a short walk but really not far at all. No complaints at all about the room or our stay in general. We stayed in a room off of the main house and didn't hear any guests above us at all. We will defiantly be returning to the Westcott house and thank everyone who made our stay amazing :).

We were fortunate to book a room at the last minute, and I do mean fortunate. Beautiful room with a view of the Bay. Within walking distance to many charming shops and restaurants. Breakfasts are fabulous, with really great choices. Also has a really nice appetizer hour in the afternoon. We enjoyed it both days of our stay. Lovey place with excellent staff. We hope to repeat our visit !

From the moment we arrived at the Westcott we were shown exceptional service. While waiting for the unloading "spot" to open up the innkeeper came out and met us with a reserved parking sticker so we could park close immediately and she helped us carry in our bags. We were offered more than we could have hoped and they never questioned us if we asked for something. The Westcott has some of the best employees we have ever witnessed. We are big in the service industry and we did not have a single complaint. We were never even asked our names. They knew who we were and made us feel like we really deserved to be there. The food was great every morning and the rooms always clean. We stayed in the Alexandra and it was a beautifully laid out room. Also the location is prime. We have stayed in b&bs else where in St. Augustine but the Westcott is definitely the one we will continue to stay at from this point on. Thank you to all who made our stay great!

Unless you require absolutely new (and boring), there is no place better to stay in St. Augustine. Gave the "4" for Onsite Dining rather than a 5 only because I am not sure breakfast-only counts as a true restaurant on site, but breakfast is always excellent. (You'll just need lunch and dinner elsewhere, but then, that's half the fun of St. Augustine.)
5 on March 18, 2015
Great views from the room we had. Awesome breakfasts. Easily within walking distance to attractions and restaurants.
5 on March 14, 2015
We loved staying here. It's close to all of historic St. Augustine. We didn't need are car to get around. Everything about this Bed & Breakfast was lovely. We found it enjoyable, loved the water views, and attention to detail.

Omg! Took by boyfriend here for his birthday and fell in love with the place. The room looked exactly like the pics found on their website. I ordered the romantic package and as promise we arrived with cold wine and chocolate cover strawberry's in our room. The staff members here make you feel welcome. One staff member gave up her parking spot just so we can park. I thought that was so sweet, since parking in St. Augustine is a nightmare. Their was a free social hour so we got to drink for free and eat delicious appetizer. Morning breakfast was delicious and overall it was a great experience. It is also walking distance to pretty much everything in St. Augustine. It was a bit pricing but it's worth every dime. I would have to say best hospitality experience I ever had. Hands down!!!!!

Their standard is perfection. We loved everything about it. Highly recommended.

What a wonderfully peaceful and joyful night! We stayed in the Virginia room for the night of our wedding and enjoyed every moment. The jacuzzi tub is just wonderful and the dual shower heads in the shower made for a fun time ;) We would've liked it to be a little less expensive, but you can't always get what you want. Overall, worth it and we will probably stay here again for our anniversary. Thank you!

This was my first stay at a B&B. The proprietor and staff made me feel very comfortable. I loved being able to walk out of the french doors to the porch where I could see the river on one side and the horse and buggies directly on the road behind my room on the other. It was everything I could have imagined and more. The only problem was that of parking, but Joy was incredibly accommodating in allowing me to park in a very convenient location. Also, the package included a trolly ride to see the festival of lights which was incredible. I highly recommend Bayfront Westcott House. It felt like home.

This Bed and Breakfast is an historic looking well-run beautiful place to stay. The rooms are well appointed --ours had many beautiful antiques. The bed was comfortable and the linens made me wish I had some like that at home. The owners made us feel so welcome. They are extremely helpful in making a visit to the city just perfect. The staff is competent and really cares whether you are having a great stay. The food is good and the complimentary cocktail hour at 5 is most appreciated after a long day of wonderful adventures in the city. Highly recommended.

I was planning a short getaway for my parents' 52 wedding anniversary. They love St Augustine so I started searching the internet for B&B's which they also love. This B&B seemed to have high rating so I contacted them to explain I wanted to send my parents there for a getaway where most every detail was taken care of for them. The super nice owners were more than happy to accommodate my various requests which included not only the selection of nice room, but gift certificates for dinners each evening, a custom-made anniversary cake delivered to their room, a romantic horse & carriage ride, a pass for the town trolley each day, as well. The really went out of their way to make sure my parents thoroughly enjoyed not only their stay at the B&B, but their entire trip to St. Augustine. I would highly recommend the Bayfront Westcott House based on the feedback from my parents.

Excellent. We return each time we visit St Augustine. The accomodation and staff are of the highest order. All the rooms are beautifully appointed and the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Westcott House is ideally situated in the town with quick and easy access to the shops, restaurants and nightlife. Talking of nightlife are a point of visiting Tradewinds on Saturday night. Great music. Great people. A real fun night out. We'll be back. The Hoods and Hilsons from Scotland

We recently visited Westcott House for our anniversary and found it to be the same wonderful place it has been every time we've stayed there. Very conveniently located in the historic district, the lovely inn is impeccably kept, beautifully furnished and exemplifies casual elegance in every way. It is very possible that you will find that you never use your car during your visit as there is so much to see and do within a few minutes walk. The many porches, verandas and patios provide a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Joy and Andrew are wonderful hosts and they have surrounded themselves with a friendly, courteous and professional staff who all work wonderfully together to provide you the best experience possible. The evening social hour is very enjoyable and the refreshments are wonderful and beautifully presented. The breakfasts served at Westcott House always reflect the character of the inn blending culinary creativity and nutrition in a sumptuous selection. They also gladly prepare breakfasts to order should you find that the day's selection is not what you desire. We have always been thrilled to visit the Bayfront Westcott House and we are sure if you choose to visit that you too will find that she never disappoints.

My partner and I booked this B&B for a weekend get away. Our room "Alison's Loft" in the attic, was well appointed, with a window overlooking the bay. The large king sized bed was so comfortable and linens were soft as silk and indulgent. The breakfast served on the patio overlooking the bay was prepared to our preference. The entree's presented were delicious and options presented based on personal preferences. The hospitality of the staff is friendly and always willing to book tours, give directions or recommendations for local activities. There board reads "Ask and Thou Shall Receive". The locations is close enough to be in walking distance from all the action but far enough that it is a peaceful quite location. We loved this B&B and will be returning.

My boyfriend took me here during Easter Weekend for my Belated Birthday because I had never been to St. Augustine or stayed at a bed and breakfast. It was a great present. The Bed and Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and catered to your needs. It was a relaxing atmosphere and the Caroline room was absolutely breathtaking. And the Special French Toast and Sausage Breakfast was mouthwatering. They make sure that you had as much as you wanted to eat. Everything was just wonderful and we will definitely come back again.

I just finished my seventh stay at Bayfront Wescott Bed and Breakfast. I just keep going back! My husband surprised me with a trip here for my birthday a couple of years ago. We then went back a few months later. We both just fell in love with the place and the staff. I then took one of my teacher friends here for a few days; then my oldest daughter for a stay. I have since returned for three more stays by myself. That says a lot for me to be comfortable to stay by myself anywhere. But, this is like traveling to a second home! Joy (owner with her husband) and the entire staff treat you like royalty. Upon checking in, you are offered refreshment and shown to your room. Each room is beautiful! They are all similar (filled with beautiful antiques) yet different. There is a reception each afternoon with delicious food, sodas, beer, and wine. I love to eat outside on the wicker furniture either on the wrap around porch or by the fountain and gaze at the sailboats on the bay! Once in your room, luxurious robes compliment your evening along with special spa products! I love to hear the clop, clop, clop of the horses hooves as they pass by my room pulling the carriages! Your morning begins with a delicious specially prepared breakfast tailored to your wants. Once again, I usually choose to sit outside and read while I eat my breakfast and take in the beautiful view of the bay and the sound of the fountain. You can walk to the historic downtown stores and sites or catch a trolley down the block. Sometimes, since I am in such a beautiful room with an equally beautiful view, I choose to stay and read or do some crocheting. Fabulous restaurants are also within walking distance! Believe me, once you go here you will keep going back!

Superb bed and breakfast in St. Augustine, FL !! Impeccable property with exceptional staff! 5 star treatment plus truly gourmet breakfast!! Would definitely go back at least twice a year to unwind. The location is wonderful as it is walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and historical places! Joy, Lisa, Barbara and the rest of the staff made us feel like family (very loving and hospitable)!! Happy hour from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. was a definite treat! They even gave us extra bottled water for when we rode our bikes! We had an amazing weekend and their attention to detail was over the top! We do not have the words to describe what a wonderful experience we had. We will definitely return!

"Above and Beyond"... That is the level of service that is given at the Westcott House. My wife and I are frequent travelers, yet we always seem to find our way back to Westcott House. Joy, Andrew and all the staff are wonderful. The house has a genuine feeling of elegance and the views are wonderful. Situated on bayfront, the sounds of the bay are relaxing. Morning breakfast on the porch is an experience in culinary delight. King size beds with pillow top mattresses provide that deep sleep that is so refreshing, you don't want to get out of bed. I could go on and sound like a travel advertisement, but I'll leave it at this.... Over the last few years, we have returned to Westcott House about 15 - 16 times and have never been disappointed.............. Dwayne & Shan

We came to St. Augustine for our beach wedding in Feb and the Westcott was just perfect for us. The breakfast is excellent, and the afternoon snack is a very nice perk. We had guests that also stayed at the inn with us and they also enjoyed their stay. The room (Victoria) was very nice and the sheets and bed were probably one of the best we've experienced. The only downside was the parking lot for the house was located several blocks away. BUT, if you snag street parking in front, which wasn't hard to do, they fed the meter for you. They even helped us find another bed and breakfast for out of town guests when they didn't have any rooms left. They called around and found us a place. The staff couldn't have been more hospitable or nice. We definitely plan to stay there again.

Spent a night in the beautifully decorated Minorcan room for my 30th birthday. The room was very clean, and the king-sized bed was wonderful. The complimentary social hour was tastefully presented and much appreciated. The innkeeper hooked us up with a dessert coupon for the restaurant where we were dining and informed us of and coordinated a shuttle service for us to the restaurant (compliments of the restaurant). We had the baked french toast for breakfast, which was out of this world! I was glad to have something unique instead of run-of-the-mill eggs (which were also an option for those interested). It seems as though this B&B thought of all the details ahead of time. I am so glad I chose to celebrate my special day at this Inn. It exceeded my expectations and was worth the money.

It was a very windy night! But warm and inviting when we checked in with Julie. "Can I upgrade you to a larger room? Are you sure you want to stay up in the Alison?". Julie, you are just so sweet! But we booked the Alison loft just because we love being at the top of the stairs, in the alcove, with the whirlpool tub, and the view of the Bridge of Lions. Thanks everyone at Bayfront for making my husband's birthday such a special occasion.

This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast so we did not really know what to expect since we were used to hotels. The house was lovely and charming. The staff was very welcoming and nice. You could tell that the staff strived to make your stay incredible. I think that we were so used to a hotel's impersonal service and nickel and diming you for everything, that we didn't know what to make of the excellent service and amenities at first. It's a shame, I know. When we checked in, the staff offered us something to drink, made recommendations on some great places to eat and took care of our parking. We stayed in the Anastasia room and it was amazing. The room was very homey and relaxing. The bathroom was a step down which made it very interesting. There were bathrobes in the room which were very comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING! We ate in the dining room and it was very nice. The location was great too. Right on the water and within walking distance to everything. I would definitely recommend this place. This bed and breakfast has set an extremely high bar for us in what to expect in a bed and breakfast.
5 on January 05, 2014
This bed and breakfast was by far our FAVORITE in St Augustine. We've been coming from Orlando for many years. Joy, and her staff, were gracious and top notch. We stayed in the Anastasia room and were VERY comfortable. The inn is impeccable as far as cleanliness, which is a must on my list. LOVED the view of the bay from the porch out front. You won't be disappointed.

This B & B is one we have stayed at several times and always leave feeling very satsified with the accommodations and service. The owners go out of their way to make each guest feel special. They make excellent suggestions of good restaurants in St. Augustine and willing to make reservations for their guests. This is our favorite B & B in Florida!

We have just returned from a five day stay at Westcott House. This bed and breakfast is owned and managed by Andrew and Joy Warren. We can only compliment them are their efficiency and staff. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable and the staff, without exception, could not have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all for your care during our stay.

Becky Jarrell - December 2013 This was an extended mother/daughter weekend and was magical in every respect! Christmas time in St. Augustine is amazing on it's own but the decorations and lights at the Westcott added it's own breathtaking ambiance. Delicious food for breakfast, wine and appetizer were enough to cover dinner without going out! "Carolines" room is beautiful w/ fireplace and jucuzzi. Staff made us feel we were with our own wam and friendly family. We could have stayed forever!

The Bayfront Westcott House was amazing. This was our 15 year Wedding Anniversary and the owners and staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. Our room was the "Catherine" in the Carriage House on the second level. We had two private balconies overlooking the bay and courtyard. The antique furniture in this room was beautiful. Our bed had two steps to climb up to the mattress. The double jacuzzi and shower stall were a delighted addition. The house was beautifully decorated inside and outside for the "Nights of Lights". Excellent breakfast selections. The complimentary evening social was a great way to meet other guests. Wine, beer, soda, cheeses, Wow! We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended.

Bayfront Westcott House was so amazing!! Our first time at a bed & breakfast and we were welcomed at the door as if we were family. It was like staying in our own vacation home. Everything we needed was available......down to eye make-up remover wipes! The food was EXCELLENT!! Best breakfast I've EVER had! NO JOKE! Everything was quiet we never heard other people. The Innkeepers set up our horse/carriage ride and we didn't need to lift a finger. It was very clean and the sheets were so soft. The social hour was amazing....other guests were very friendly. I just can't say enough positive things about Bayfront Westcott Inn!!! Im not sure I'll ever stay in a hotel again. I would recommend the house offering bicycles or if you can bring your own...there is a lot to see and the walking can get tiresome.

This was my and my wife's first experience at a bed and breakfast. I did a lot of research before selecting the Bayfront Westcott House. I can definitely say that I am a big fan of B&B's now and would love to come back to this particular one in the future. The service and experience was above and beyond expectations. It was our 5th wedding anniversary and we were given such a romantic experience. I definitely recommend!

Thank you so very much for making our first trip to your B & B and St. Augustine so wonderful. We cannot wait to return and stay with you. We enjoyed our delicious breakfast on the porch with such an amazing view of the bay. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The Bayfront Westcott is one of the nicest Inns we've visited. Thank you and hope to see you again soon.

The Wescott House exceeded our expectations in the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the entire house, the "sleepability" of the bed (so comfy), and the quality and selection of the breakfast (and snacks). The view and the location were also amazing. There simply is no where else I would stay in St. Augustine!

I stayed at Bayfront Westcott for 6 nights while attending a conference. It is charming with very comfortable beds and my room had a large bathroom. A bonus was the covered veranda furnished with wicker couches and chairs, the perfect spot to read or enjoy a glass of wine. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, and unlike many B&B's, I had a choice of what time to be served and a choice of items from a menu. The evening wine and cheese spread was also delicious. The staff are welcoming and attentive and eager to fulfill special requests. On my day of departure I asked them to make me a sandwich for the road and was thrilled by the picnic lunch they prepared. The inn is conveniently located facing the bay and close to old town shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

If you want to feel spoiled and pampered ~ this is the place for you. The hosts are welcoming and have thought of every detail to make your stay perfect. The only problem is ~ you won't want to leave the inn to visit the rest of the city. The breakfasts were delicious and just relaxing on the front porch looking at the bay and the boats was worth the trip. Thanks, Joy!

Joy and Andrew have assembled an outstanding staff and continue to run an outstanding B&B operation. Our second visit confirmed that their success is due to consistent quality and value.

This place is awesome! From the time we parked the car to the time we checked out this weekend was amazing! We could hear the carriage rides as they passed our window at night (wasn't loud...we were trying to hear the horses) and the patio's were wonderful to sit out on in the morning and evening. Room was so quite we slept until 10am one morning not realizing how late it was. Perfect location across the street from the bay and close to shops and places to eat. Would stay here again and again! Highly recommend!

Saw dolphins playing while eating breakfast on the patio. The evening breeze was so nice and I love the porch swing on the second floor. The staff is wonderful, meeting even your smallest needs.

Our first visit to St. Augustine was perfect thanks to this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The location is not only picturesque with the house facing the bay, but extremely convenient when it comes to exploring the historic sights that are mere minutes away. Just a five to ten-minute walk gets you to the Lightner museum and other historic sights the city has to offer. The rooms were beautifully decorated and well-kept with daily housekeeping, and each day was started with a truly delicious breakfast served either porch-side or in the courtyard just beyond the rooms. The service was exceptional with friendly staff that were happily accommodating to any questions or needs we had during out stay. I would highly recommend the Westcott to any who are looking for a relaxing getaway- you won't be disappointed.

The bed in the Minorcan room was very comfortable and the double occupancy whirlpool tub was a special treat (my 6'4" hubby actually fit comfortably). I did need to pickup a VERY slippery rug in the main walking area before the fireplace and store it out of the way; they need to simply eliminate that rug, better bare floor than busted guest head. The social hour munchies and breakfasts were very very delicious, some of the best we've had, but a bit of a disappointment as there was no large seating area except for separate restaurant style tables outside and so there was little interaction between guests. This was more like a homey hotel than a B&B. We really prefer family style dining and living rooms like most B&Bs where we can visit with other guests and get site seeing tips; although I know other's who don't care for family style dining we love it. Also there are phones in the room but calls don't come in direct and the front desk can't transfer them. We didn't get a message from the front desk that was left by a local friend of ours until the morning we were leaving! Fortunately our friend got hubby's cell number from my brother and was able to catch up with us; but because of this our friend won’t recommend this place to other visiting friends... Anyway in most ways this was a very comfortable place to stay. But the failure to deliver a guest message and the lack of guest parking will deter us from staying here for future visits to St. Augustine.

We recently returned to the very room we honeymooned in 22 years ago at the historic Westcott House. We were pleased to say that it is in great hands with the current innkeepers who have dramatically improved the amenities and hospitality of the bed & breakfast. Keep Room 102 ready for us! We will be returning through the years!

There aren't enough words to describe our stay at the Westcott! The accommodations were outstanding! The early evening gathering of wine and cheese, plus the breakfast the following were all delicious and served with a smile!

Janet and I have stayed in Hotels, Motels, B&B's, and even Castles all over the world, from Germany to Turkey, and Greece to Italy, and throughout England and Scotland. - - - - never have we found a more welcoming and relaxing home away from home. We choose Westcott House mainly from the website information and especially the reviews. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. We especially appreciated the warm and friendly staff - - with a special note to Barbara, our chef, who checked on us every morning to make sure her special breakfast was to our liking. Westcott House was a very special place to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary and we shall return again to re-kindle these fond memories. Turn off the alarm - - - you'll find the special bed linens inviting you to linger in bed.

Stayed three nights and did not want to leave. What a perfect inn and fabulous views of the bay. So very charming. Hospitality plus, great service and food. Joy and Andrew are truly gracious hosts, make you feel very welcome. Our room had a balcony with a perfect view of the bay. Peaceful and calming. Close to the historic district with an easy walk to all that should really be seen. Most definitely will return.

What a wonderful, quaint bed & breakfast! Friendly and professional, but it is on the "pricey" side - especially on a weekend in season. Once you add local and hotel taxes it's over $300 per night.

The ambiance and the delightful staff were a refreshing change from impersonal hotels. We had wonderful snacks in the afternoon with a storyteller and book author. There was plenty to do or not as you chose. The Inn had lovely outdoor sitting areas right outside your room. They also had other packages to try. The breakfasts each morning were excellent!

My husband and I had a great experience at the Bayfront Westcott House in St. Augustine, Florida. The location was perfect for touring this historic city. We could walk to lots of places and had easy access to the trolley tour stops. The location was also great for just relaxing on one of the porches or in the gardens overlooking the bay. Our room had an electric fireplace and the bed was so comfortable it made for a very relaxing stay. The entire B & B was decorated in the most charming way and we couldn't have asked for more in the way of cleanliness!! The owners and the staff were just great. We had excellent breakfasts each day. Everyone made us feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely visit again!!! You won't be disappoointed if you choose this outstanding B & B.

We stayed here for two nights for our anniversary and it was the absolute best. The staff was so pleasant no matter what time it was or what the request is. The room was so spacious, had a beautiful view of the water and a bed more comfortable than ours at home. The breakfasts in the morning were so good you'd think your at a five star restaraunt. We cannot wait to go back!!!

What a great place to stay while exploring the old town of St. Augustine! Perfect in every way, from the waterfront location, within walking distance to everything from fort to art galleries to wineries; to the delicious hot breakfasts served in the mornings and complimentary happy hours in the evenings. Wonderful!!

We stayed there for my husband's 60th birthday. The service was wonderful and the rooms were first class. We were in the Catherine room which had a double balcony, Jacuzzi spa tub and double headed shower which was just great. Barbara, the inn keeper and all those working there were helpful in recommending places to visit and eat. We would recommend the Wescott House to our friends

Caught with 3 extra days on our hands in Jacksonville, Florida, my wife and I decided to check out St. Augustine. We had great meals everywhere we went to eat, but, the best meals and biggest smiles were our morning breakfast at Bayfront Westcott House. We have been blessed to travel all over the world, yet, we had as delightful stay at this bed and breakfast as anywhere else. I highly recommend them not only if you are looking for a B & B, but, if you plan on staying at least one night in St. Augustine. Perfect views, perfect staff and perfect location for seeing St. Augustine.

My third time here within the past year. We continue to come back and will come back in the future!!!! Excellent food, and excellent happy hour with wine and snacks provided. The house is decorated extremely well and you really feel like you are staying at a family members home. You can park your car and basically leave it because most of the good stuff is within walking distance.

Truly a wonderful and magical place in a magical location . Joy and her staff were very attentive to our needs without being intrusive . The feeling that this was home overwhelmed us the second day we were there and it never went away . At night we spent time relaxing on the front porch fielding questions from passerbys wondering what Westcott was like and after telling them how wonderful it truly was they would proceed to tell us their horror stories. We can only suggest to one and all you will not regret your stay at the Westcoot , we most certainly did ! Jerome & Liz , Blenheim ON. Canada

The Westcott House has a lot of ambience. It is so romantic clean and the hospitality is wonderful. When we arrived the owner met us at our car. She helped with the luggage. This is our second time here and we will go back next year. The breakfast was great!

This is the first time my husband and I stayed at a B&B and was extremely pleased. The staff was excellent in providing tips on where to go for the best places to eat and touring. They were so friendly and helpful with everything. The Menendez room where we stayed was relaxing and very welcoming. The entire grounds the B&B was on was very peaceful. I will definitely be returning for another visit..
5 on December 05, 2012
We have visited many B&B's over the years, but the Bayfront Westcott is by far the best we've ever encountered. The location to town can't be beat, as well as the wonderful inn itself. Our room had everything you could possibly want, but if you found you were in need of something, Joy and her staff were always there to assist. The breakfasts served daily are worth the stay alone, but also the beds and bedding are not to be missed! Needless to say, this is a top notch inn that all should experience. Patsy & Kevin

This was our first time in a B&B, and we really picked a terrific one, for our 2 night stay, in St. Augustine, FL. I cannot say enough good things about the owners, staff, breakfast foods, happy hours, comfortable places to relax, and our room was magnificent and clean. It was a large room, with elec. fireplace, private bath, plenty of towels, toiletries, ice bucket, bottles of water, or any type of beverage you desired, they had it. It was right across the street from the bay, and made for a relaxing time sitting on the front porch watching the watercraft, and people passing by. It was also convenient to the public trolley system, and was an easy walk to the historic district with many restaurants/shops near by. We'll definitely stay here again, and hope you do too......they have variety of rooms, so be sure to call personally and find out which one is just right for you. We'll be back!!

This has been my second stay the the Bayfront Westcott Inn. I went on both occasions with friends from Europe and India and we all agree that we loved the Inn. Each room is unique, taking you back in time. The staff is very well organized, extremely courteous yet personal. I cannot comment on dining since I ate in town, but the included breakfast includes everything I love about this time of day, in particular the southern style porch setting. I highly recommend this Inn to everybody who needs to get a break from hectic life.

My husband booked this online for my birthday. It was a surprise! We couldn't have stayed anywhere that I would have enjoyed more and we have traveled pretty extensively. I loved everything about this place......the huge rooms with REAL furniture (not hotel furniture), the hardwood floors, pretty bath/spa products, spa robes, afternoon wine/hors d'oeuvres, fresh baked cookies/coffee available all day, walking distance to restaurants/stores, view of bay, and staff that made us feel like family! We had balconies with wicker furniture and breakfast served to us on the porch or patio (room service was also available). how wonderful to sit outside at breakfast and gaze out at the boats coming and going in the bay! In the afternoon we sat on a chaise or swing and enjoyed a glass of wine and beer. We are already planning a return trip and we don't usually go to the same place twice so that says it all for Bayfront Wescott House!

There are many places to stay in St Augustine but we don't believe any would compare to the Bayfront Westcott House. Everything is always so perfect that we never feel the need to look anywhere else. This was our 4th visit and each time we hate to leave. Whether you are there for one night or more the visit is always enjoyable. Joy, Andrew and their staff are so warm and welcoming making you feel that nothing is ever too much trouble. The rooms are lovely--very clean and comfortable. The breakfast just delicious! The view is beautiful and a great location where you can walk to shopping, attractions and great restaurants. Donna and John

My fiancee and I decided to have a little romantic vacation in St Augustine. He is in the navy and had just come home from an eight month deployment. I only had him for a few days before he had to go back to VA. I attend university in Orlando. The westcott treated us beautifully. The staff was amazing, very kind and knowledgeable. They provided us with great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We will be coming back to the Westcott.

It was a "Surprise" birthday gift for my boyfriend. This Bed and Breakfast was everything I hoped for and more. I asked for ice and wine glasses in our room upon arrival along with a gift (which I picked out) and it was wrapped beautifully for me. Our room was furnished beautifully and was extremely clean. There was happy hour with wine/beer/soda and homemade cakes. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. We made friends with a couple our age and exchanged phone numbers and email addresses and will be meeting up with them in the not so far future. They even take care of the parking, if you can not park free, they pay it for you. We would recommend Bayfront Westcott Bed and Breakfast to all....go and enjoy and write you own review...See you there!

Stayed in the Minorcam room, EXTREMELY comfortable. This was an anniversary trip and could not have been better. The staff felt more like family than just working there. I have never stayed anywhere that made me feel so at home. My only complaint was we couldn't have stayed longer. But we will be back. Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

My boyfriend recently stayed at the Westcott for our first romantic getaway together. This place exceeded my expectations by far! The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Our room was absolutely amazing, beautifully decorated, very spacious, very clean, and just all around the perfect ambiance for our special escape. Oh and the food was to die for! I couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. Tips: -Definitely check out their Fact or Folklore evenings during the week, definitely an interesting and fun event! -Also, when making dining reservations and planning trips to the local attractions be sure to checkout the special deals they have in conjunction with.

My husband and I came here for a little R&R and got soooo much more. It is like coming home but better. Everything we could think of was taken care of and catered to. We stayed in the Alison and had so much fun. It was so quaint and quiet we lost track of time.. with 3 kids at home, that's impresive!! The breakfasts were to die for!!! You NEED to try their Stuffed French Toast... I have never had something so wonderful for breakfast. Also, they have a lady named Erin that gives such a wonderful massage in you room, she is great and leaves you so relaxed. We also met great people at the social hour. It was fun to sit and talk to other guests while enjoying the sunset. Overall, the best vacation I have had ever!! Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness. We will most definitly be back!

Our first visit here to St. Augustine. We couldn't have picked a more perfect spot. Superb B & B. Joy and her staff greeted us with open arms. They arranged for a carriage ride that picked us up right here at the B & B. Awesome service, excellent food and very friendly atmosphere. Perfectly located right on the bay and in the midst of the historic downtown district. We visited in August and there was a breeze there all the time allowing us to enjoy the awesome porches. Beautiful rooms with all the little extras. We would highly recommend staying here! We will be back!

We hav been to Wescott House a number of times and this is the most Beautiful,Excellent B&B In St Augustine. The Host are gracious, the girls that serve breakfast and in the office are most efficient. The rooms are spectacular and clean. All that you would want in a B&B.

I could not be more happy with my stay here. My wife and I received professional and courteous reception, the food was great, and the room adorable. Not to mention the location was perfect, so close to everything we parked our car and did not use it again till we left as could walk everywhere we wanted to go.

We traveled to St. Augustine along with 5 other couples to enjoy a weekend of concerts at the city’s amphitheatre. I was the party’s travel coordinator and selected the Bayfront Westcott House from its ad listing on the Florida Vacation Auction. Three in our party had never been to St. Augustine before so making sure everyone was happy was important to me. The waterfront location of the Bayfront Westcott House was ideal, it was easy walking distance to old town, the trolley stops and local restaurants and bars, yet still situated in a quiet location that was perfect for our rests between activities. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bedding was superb – and since my wife is a CFO of a mattress company we consider ourselves qualified critics. The breakfasts and afternoon receptions were both amble and delicious, and Innkeeper Joy Warren and her staff provided great care and hospitality. I highly recommend the Bayfront Westcott House Bed & Breakfast to anyone visiting St. Augustine.

We were greeted by Megan who offered us something to drink and proceeded to check us in in a comfortable living room. She explained everything in detail and was courteous and friendly. She was the beginning of what was a wonderful experience. The whole B&B was beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. Our room was comfortable, clean with plenty of amenities. The social hour was a great way to relax before heading on our arranged cruise on the schooner Freedom. All I can say about the breakfasts is "FABULOUS". Friendly and great service for everything we needed. On top of all that, we felt like we were a part of the family by the time we left......and oh yeah, how many places would ask you would you like something to drink for the road as you're leaving. It's close to everything. We parked our car when we checked in and never needed the whole time we were there. We will be back and without hesitation recommend this as the place to go to get away and relax. Garry and Jan McGrath, Fleming Island, FL

The Westcott is the best venue on the Bay. Charming, yet eloquent Inn offers panoramic views on their spacious outdoor porch decks. Steps away from dinning and all that the historic city has to offer. Our hosts and their staff were courteous and resourceful. Truly a home away from home. Late afternoon social hour can't be beat as you enjoy fine food and drink from the porch as sailing ships pass by in front of you. Just a matter of time before we return.

My husband and I live in Wisconsin. We look foward to our visits to Florida every year. Our favorite town to spend a weekend is St. Augustine and the best part about our stay is the westcott bayfront B&B. Everything from the beautiful views to the personified service we receive at the Westcott makes us come back year after year. We love the cocktail hour in the evening and nothing could top the delicious breakfast in the morning. We can't wait til our next visit!!

We stayed in the Third Floor Room. The angled ceiling in this room needs to be paid attention to but otherwise the room was better than perfect. Plenty of extra towels, jetted tub, view of the Intracoastal Waterway, and luxurious bed. Happy Hour lasted one & 1/2 hours so you don't need to be "on time". And breakfast was made to order for my dietitian wife and myself and everything was better than Perfect. I only live 25 miles away and can't wait to return!
We are so glad to hear that overall your stay in Allison's Loft was a good one. Thank you for the very kind words, and we look forward to hosting your return visit. Warmest regards!
5 on June 18, 2012
Bed & Breakfasts are, in theory, warm and inviting, with "guests" made to feel right at home. In practice, we don't often leave a B&B saying that we'd like to move in...permanently! The innkeepers indulged our breakfast requests (we preferred omelets to the quiche and muffins...although everyone else raved about the specials of the morning), and best of all was our room...the Alison, on the top of the stairs, had a view of the water, and a whirlpool tub and four complete sets of thick, soft towels, a fabulous king bed with fine linens, reading lamps for both sides of the bed. ....AND they offer a 'social hour' with wine, beer and snacks...AND the location is perfect, parking easy. By far our most enjoyable B&B experience ever! Susan & Ken from Flagler Beach.
So glad you were pleased; thank you for that wonderful review. Warmest regards!

A PERFECT retirement gift from my coworkers! Joy, Andrew & their staff were absolutely charming! Our room - The Isabella - was beautiful and immaculate with a gorgeous bayfront view. We started each day with a delicious breakfast on the veranda surrounded by a lovely garden. We were served tasty hors d' oeuvres in the afternoon and after a day of sightseeing returned to the BnB to find yummy homemade cookies waiting for our bedtime treat! We will definitely be returning quests. Thank you Joy, Andrew & staff for a wonderful get-a-way!

Our 49th anniversary was spent at the Bayfront Westcott House B&B, and it was absolutely wonderful! Joy and Andrew are terrific hosts. We were treated like family and that was how we felt. The Westcott House was perfect to celebrate our anniversary. Anyone wanting to have a perfect visit to St. Augustine should stay at the Westcott.

The Westcott Bed & Breakfast is fabulous, and was even more spectacular than we had expected. From the wonderful accommodations to the fabulous breakfast on the verandah overlooking the bay, every detail was pleasant. Joy and the staff have a real passion for what they do, and that is evident in the paramount service that they provide.

This was our 5th stay at the Westcott. We LOVE St. Augustine and have stayed at other B&Bs, but always choose to go back to the Westcott. Joy and the staff are always willing to accommodate any request with a smile, the rooms are beautiful, the food is sooo delicious, and you cannot beat the location. The bay views are gorgeous and plenty to do within walking distance. We rarely even move our car. We just returned home today, and we are already planning our next trip!

St Augustine was the destination wedding site for our daughter. Each and every room used by our family and friends were lovely. We were treated like kings and queens. Joy and her wonderful staff provided all the amenities we could dream of. It provided the perfect location, breakfast, cocktail hour, cookies, comfy beds, spotless rooms and lovely surroundings. A "10" in every category!!! We will be back! COH, Ponte Vedra Beach

We stayed in Virginia's room -- on the 2nd floor, very quiet and private. Huge shower and jacuzzi in room. Wonderful breakfast every morning on the porch overlooking the bay. Cheese and crackers and wine/beer every evening before dinnertime. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We absolutely loved staying here and would come back. We walked everywhere -- the location is perfect.

I treated my mother to a trip to Saint Augustine for her 65th birthday and we stayed at the Bayfront Westcott House in the Esmeralda Room. The inn was beautifully kept, the view from the porches were magnificent, the rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Jean greeted us upon arrival and made us feel instantly welcomed and at home. She offered great advice on local dining and attractions as well as provided us with everything we needed for our stay. In the morning, Angie, Kayla, and Isabel created the most delicious breakfasts. There was plenty of coffee, teas, and a relaxing social hour between 5-7pm each night when they served wine and cheese. Everyone at Westcott was very friendly, including the other guests. In addition to the fantastic bay view, The Westcott is in walking distance to just about everything in historic Saint Augustine. We could walk to the Red Train stop to take a tour around the city and/or walk to the Castillo de San Marcos, the museums, shops, and St. George Street. Westcott's location is perfect for those who don't want to drive everywhere. The Westcott's parking lot was about three blocks away, down Bridge street, but since we left the car there once parked, it didn't matter at all. The lot was nice and spacious and I felt very comfortable parking there (as opposed to parking on the narrow streets and feeding the meter all day). Lot parking was included with our stay. We are looking forward to returning to The Bayfront Westcott House. They are 5 stars in service, location, comfort, and friendliness. TIPS: The Esmeralda room is close to the office and the neighbor's gazebo is right outside the window. Not a problem (was not noisy), but if you want a fantastic view, choose the Catherine room (2nd floor in carriage house) or the Anastasia room in the main house (2nd floor) which also has a double Jacuzzi.

I have stayed in this particular B&B 3 times. This last time was perhaps not my favorite, but I would still go back in a heartbeat. When we arrived the usual person was not there and the girl that was, was slightly abrupt (not something I'm used to from Joy or Andrew, the owners or the other girl that's usually there..sorry can't remember her name). The rooms are very nice and if there's anything you need, they don't hesitate to help you out. I don't recommend that you bring kids, it really is a great place for couples and although Joy was wonderful in making sure that the kids had all they needed, the rooms aren't really large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. Breakfast is wonderful here and they do a social hour (1 1/2 really) from 5:30 to 7 I think, and the snacks are delicious Overall, you really should check this place out, its close to everything..food, entertainment, shopping..everything. Hope you go and enjoy. Kim Oliva, Tamarac, Florida

My wife and I have stayed at many B&B's, and Bayfront Westcott House was without a doubt one of the best... if not the best we've ever encountered. Our room was very neat and well appointed, and the breakfasts were absolutely amazing. Wine and chesse in the evening, on the porch overlooking the bay, was a wonderful way to top off the day. Joy and her staff were attentive and friendly. Unbeknownst to us when we booked, the Wescott is ideally situated within walking distance to the main attractions in St. Augustine. We had a marvelous time, and will definately return next time we're in St. Augustine.

We stayed in the Victoria Room in January. When we walked in, my wife said this was the nicest room we have ever stayed in. She gave Joy a big hug and thanked her for providing such a nice place. We sat on the deck and looked at the water and also could see the TV and watch the football game. I was in heaven. Everything was outstanding. This was very plush. The only faults I found was that the toilet was about 6 inches lower than the main floor and I forgot to step down and almost fell. The other fault was with the big tub for two, there was not enough hot water to make it usable. The room was so nice that these two things could be overlooked. I would highly recommend staying at this B & B. It is beautiful and the owners go way beyond what it takes to make you happy.

My fiancé and I came down from Jacksonville for a one night stay and a quick getaway, however with the beautiful room, view, and ambiance of the Inn, we did not want to leave. Had life not been waiting for us in Jacksonville, we would have opted to stay the rest of the weekend. Fortunately, we do make frequent trips to St. Augustine for mini vacays so we will definitely be back!

This is our second stay at Bayfront Westcott B & B and it will not be our last. This time my husband and I came for a long weekend anniversary (15 years) and birthday (not saying how many years!) celebration and have truly enjoyed ourselves. The accommodations are unsurpassed. Each room is exquisitely appointed, with a careful eye for aesthetics and comfort. We stayed in the uniquely charming Allison's Loft. The hospitality has been warm and attentive and the food lovingly prepared. My special breakfast requests were honored and presented beautifully. It will be hard to leave and get back to reality!

My husband and I just returned yesterday from an amazing weekend getaway for his 50th Birthday. The best Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed at! From the moment I made our reservation to check out, we received 5 star service! Joy Warren (owner) made us feel like royalty and was so gracious and kind. She actually came out to our car to personally escort me to our room while my husband parked the car! We stayed in "Victoria's Room." wow, it was breathtakingly gorgeous, with the best view of all the rooms..of course, all the views are great...but we had a room in the front part, with a huge balcony. They delivered breakfast (delicious!) every morning and we ate on our balcony while enjoying the waterfront view (Bridge of Lions and various boats, yachts, people strolling). Every evening, we were treated to complimentary appetizers and wine (yummy!..and they served top quality wine!) We also enjoyed hanging out in the peaceful courtyard and meeting other guests. Joy took care of our every need...from last minute dinner reservations to recommendations for local excursions...it was so nice to just sit back and not stress about anything! Needless to say, we were very impressed with the Bayfront Wescott B&B, with its refined beauty and tranquility! I would recommend the Bayfront Wescott B&B 100% and we will be returning often! Thank you, Joy, for being so gracious, and for all the surprise goodies for my husband's 50th Birthday! We will always cherish my husband's 50th birthday! Many blessings...

We will go back again, and again and go back again. The Bayfron Westcott was the highlight of our four night Christmas vacation in St. Augustine. The room was clean, with all amenities, as described. The location of the B&B was outstanding, near all attractions and restaurants, and bars. Sitting on the porch and watching the ships go by was a treat. The breakfasts were top quality and varied [we were given choices each day, what B&B offers that?]. Most important, the service was exceptional. They love what they do and it shows. We felt like we were with family the entire time. Wonderful experience all around. frank

We went to St Augustine to view the Christmas Lights, Joy sold us the tickets for the trolley to take us around. She also gave us excellent choices for resturaunts and other things to do. The rooms were wonderful, the bathrooms large with everything available for our comfort. The food was excellent and the viws from the porch where we had breakfast just wonderful. Staff was very friendly always with smiles and greetings. Plan to go again.

Our family of four just spent the four-day Thanksgiving holiday at the Bayfront Westcott House in St. Augustine FL. We loved the whole experience and we would love to visit many more times! Every detail made us feel as though we were being pampered. First of all, I wasn't prepared for the setting to be so breathtakingly beautiful - right on the water, overlooking the bay, the Bridge of Lions, the beautiful boats and the distant lighthouse. It is located in the middle of the most charming historic district, and only a couple of short blocks from the shops! Our daughters (ages 17 & 20) were just as pleased as we were with the beautiful inn, special homemade breakfasts, delicious 'happy-hour' treats, and especially the servant-hearted owners and staff. Our room for four (Esmerelda) was large and comfortable and so quiet we felt as though we were the only ones there at night. Even though the B&B was fully booked, we felt completely spoiled and Joy spent time giving us advice on what to do and where to eat each day, as did her sweet staff. I was afraid the internet may have made it sound too good to be true, but I don't think the reviews I had read did it justice! We'll never stay anywhere else in that part of Florida.

I got a few days off and we decided to go to St Augustine, I picked the B&B off the internet. We have been to a few B&B before in England, Ireland, and The US and this one was the best by far. The Host and the staff did an exceptional job in making sure you felt at home and all your needs were met.

Everything about Bayfront Wescott was absolutely first class. The home is beautifully decorated and carefully maintained. The staff was gracious and helpful. The breakfast and afternoon drinks were lovely. All the details were covered, right down to a good bed, excellent pillows and nice linens. On the weekend before Mother's Day, my mom and I took a chance on this bed and breakfast and found it exceeded what we had expected from reading the website. We had a wonderful experience - the owners are great! We will never stay anywhere else. MMMM. My mouth is watering from the excellent breakfasts. I also liked that the metered street parking in front of the b&b is free to handicapped persons. (So sorry this has taken so long to respond.)

Never in my life have I been so happy to have had a hurricane; without Irene's appearance, we never would have discovered this beautiful bed and breakfast! Not only is the breakfast absolutely delicious, it's located within easy walking distance from historical attractions, restaurants, museums, and shops. The owners are and staff are very sweet, and I'm almost certain that the housekeeping are also trained in the art of ninjitsu with how quickly and stealthily they attended to the room! The room we stayed in was gorgeous; the sheets were the softest I've ever felt, and the jacuzzi tub was a real treat! There will be nothing stopping me from planning another trip back to The Wescott House, and I can't get back soon enough!

Rooms equaled my expectations because I visited the site online beforehand - which I'd recommend to any one anticipating a stay at the Westcott. Service and staff were genuinely accommodating and hospitable. Since dining is not available ( it IS a B&B), dining consisted of a social hour with complimentary hors d' oeuvres and wine/beer.

The Bayfront Westcott House is a B & B unlike any other. We felt as though we were staying with family whose goal it was to make our visit perfect. A few words to describe Joy, Andrew and the staff…charming, gracious, attentive, accommodating. The pictures on the website are authentic with truth in that which is available and then some. The food, delicious in taste with gourmet presentation, and the service perfect! Every need or request we had was met and some anticipated without having to ask. Local restaurant menus were available for guest reviews, and suggestions made for both restaurants and activities to suit your taste. It was quiet, restful, beautiful and comfortable. The Westcott is an excellent value without regret. Beautifully located on the bay with easy transportation to all that St. Augustine has to offer. Our stay was beyond what we expected, went by all too fast, and we are already anticipating our next stay. Susan & Marty

Just an overall excellent place to stay. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Recently my wife and I were on vacation in St. Augustine and we stayed at the Bayfront Westcott House. When we arrived we were greeted by Joy to register in. She was very pleasent, helpful and full of information. As a matter of fact everyone at this B&B was so friendly and pleasent to be around. We found that the room in which stayed was very nice and had everything we needed. This House is located so that you can park your car in their parking lot and not have to use it again. You can walk to Old Town, Resturants and several of the Attractions from here. I and my wife enjoyed the evenings after dinner just sitting on the porch on second floor, swinging on the swing and visiting with other guests. We left there relaxed, renewed and will difinately be returning for several more visits in the future.

Great "home base" for Floridian east coast exploration. The owners and staff were terrific and the accommodations were romantic and relaxing. Very pleasant B&B where you can explore St. Augustine or just hang out if the Wx is unpleasant. Great views, dolphin sightings from the porch, and overall comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was quite fulfilling and made to order. Loved ever aspect of our stay. Will be back, without a doubt.

We chose the intimate Elopement Wedding on the balcony of the Westcott House on 25 May this year and everything was absolutely perfect. A big thank you goes to Jamie who married us for a beautiful, simple yet moving service. A big thank you also to Jeanne for our lovely photos. Joy, Andrew and staff's friendliness and attention to detail with flowers, cake, champagne and carriage ride made it a truly wonderful day that we will remember always. We stayed two nights in Alexandra's room (109) which was beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast with delicious pastries both mornings on the terrace overlooking the bay and it felt like paradise. The nibbles, wine and beer at 5pm - 7pm were tasty and informal and gave us a chance to meet the other guests and share our Wedding cake. We made use of the beach package next day which had everything you could need from chairs, umbrella, towels and a very tasty picnic and we had a wonderful day at the beach The location of Westcott House is perfect as within a few minutes walk you are right in the heart of St Augustine with its many cafes’, restaurants and bars. Everything exceeded our expectations and we were very sad to leave. We would certainly recommend Westcott House with its wonderful charm, friendly laid back approach and top quality accommodation

One which we will definately want to repeat!

Ambiance, service and property exceeded my expectations. Pleasantly surprised that somewhere in Florida the innkeepers are concerned about their guests welfare, needs and rather than in the monetary aspect. They went out of their way to make sure we had a driver to deliver us to the restaurant and return us without it being an issue. Would recommend it to couples who need to rejuvenate a relationship.. A must for the romantic!!!!

Most Enjoyable, Outstanding Experience, Attention to Detail, Pampered! Where do we begin? Joy and Andrew continue to provide all of the above and more. Returning to the East Coast, my wife and I were so looking forward to our 2nd visit to St. Augustine and the Bayfront Westcott House. From the English Garden charm with it's quaint fountain, where we shared a wonderful breakfast overlooking the St. Augustine bay, to watching Dolphin glide by and enjoying the afternoon wine, cheese and crackers from the 2nd story porch swing. Staying at the BWH has now become a Top Stay for my wife and myself when traveling to the South East. Each visit brings a new definition to the term "Stress Relief" and how life should be relished. Our room was just plain fun and the bed let us sleep like we haven't in years. We came away from this stay refreshed and invigorated! The spa tub was a superb treat after a wonderful day of Cruiser Riding at Anastasia State Park, well recommended by the Warren's. All in all, BWH, Top Knotch. Thank you Joy and Andrew!

The location was perfect, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops! With the help of Jaime, who works for the Inn and performed our wedding ceremony and helped me plan my small and simple wedding, it was absolutely all I had hoped for. Joy and Andrew are the ultimate Inn Keepers and they employ a staff of true professionals that made our stay the best experience we have ever had in a B and B. Jillian, was a delight and made us feel very special. The breakfasts were not just delicious but orchestrated to be served in a timely and beautiful fashion. Happy Hour is something we had never experienced before in any B & B and it is a wonderful, welcoming touch. The Bayfront Westcott House will hold a special place in our hearts and we will be making many return trips. First class Inn in EVERY way !

My husband and I chose this B&B for our first stay in St. Augustine after reviewing it online for it's location, amenities and high ratings. We were not disappointed. We have stayed at many a B&B and this rates up there now as one of our best experiences. The rooms very so beautiful, very clean (a requirem, ent of mine) and the friendliest staff on any we have stayed at anywhere. We would highly recommend the Bayfront Westcott Inn to anyone looking to enhance their vaction experience. It was the highlight of our trip for me.

We visited St. Augustine for the very first time for a long weekend getaway and were looking for an upscale B&B in a great location. We searched the internet and found the Bayside Wescott and are delighted that we did. The proprietors and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and made our stay a delight. They helped us select the right room, made great restaurant recommendations and even made reservations for us. The B&B was also ideally situated with a beautiful view of the bay and just a very short walk from the attractions and restaurants in historic St. Augustine. After now spending some time there and becoming familiar with the place, we could not have made a better selection for our accommodations. Our room was wonderful and the service exemplary. This made the whole experience peaceful, romantic and serene. Even the breakfasts and hors d'oeuvres each evening were surprisingly good and the setting on the balconies and patio a pure pleasure. We hope to return in the future for another stay and are looking forward to retuning to this really great find. Thanks to everyone there again for everything. We hope to see you again soon!

The Westcott is an outstanding B&B. The service is truly superb. I just completed my third visit. They first time I stayed there, it was being operated by its former owners. So, it was a delightful surprise on my second visit in January to find out how much had been freshened and improved by the new owners, Joy and Warren. They love their work and it shows from the moment you arrive. You are invited to have a seat in the dining room and offered some refreshment while Joy meticulously orients you to St. Augustine. I just finished my third visit, four months after the second. I was amazed and delighted when the young women serving breakfast remembered that I was a tea drinker AND that I like English Breakfast. There are beach chairs and umbrellas that can be borrowed and a delightful happy hour every afternoon. I love the views of the inland waterway and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy it. This B&B is also conveniently located within walking distance to the center of town and the many attractions there including Flagler College, the Lightner Museum, art galleries, restaurants and live music spots.

The inn is beautiful with a relaxing view of the bay. Joy and Andrew were wonderful hosts always ready with recommendations on restaurants and attractions. The perfect way to enjoy twilight was to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and good company.

We have stayed at many B&B's and this is certainly one of the best. Besides the great amenities it is also in a great location. Close to the main attractions but very quiet and peaceful.

Great location for the main shopping and dinning area about 15 min walk. Very friendly owners and staff with a high level of service. The complimentary wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres was a great way to start the evening. Free parking about a 10 min walk. Visit www.augustine.com to get details of attractions, restaurants and golf courses before you go.

Superb facility and staff. Rooms are romantic and beautifully furnished. Excellent value.

I had never stayed in a B&B before this last weekend. I was not sure if the cost of the stay would equal to the price of the room, since they are more than normal hotel rooms. But I was blown away. When we got there, the owner was on premises to greet us and check us in. We were invited to the social hour that afternoon for drinks and appetizers. We had breakfast every morning served but there courteous staff while watching the sunrise over the intercoastal waterway. When we go back to St Augustine next we will certainly be staying at the Westcott B&B again.

Beautiful accomodations that overlook the inlet in St. Augustine. It is so relaxing to sit out on the porch/patio and watch the boats go by while eating breakfast or enjoying a glass of wine at the evening social hour. The owners and staff make you feel so special. The service is excellent and the food is awesome.Would recommend that B&B for a special occasion or for a recharging of the battery.

Joy gave us some great recommendations for dinner and the whole staff were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

After last years stay at the Bayfront Wescott B&B, we decided to make it a tradition. We were so relaxed and happy to have everything we wanted in walking distance. This year, 2nd annual, was no exception. The owners were very pleasant and greeted us everytime we saw them. The rooms are immaculate, with the "Old World" feel of St. Augustine. By no means does that mean they are dirty or dark. Our room this past trip had a shower for 2 as well as a garden jacuzzi tub for 2, perfect for our anniversary trip! :) The Breakfast was delicious, as it was last year, and the service was quick. We ate our breakfast on the porch overlooking the river, watching the sailboats go by. This past time, there was an Irish festival going on off of St. George's St. They had Comp tickets that they offered us. Just another way they went out of their way to make sure our stay was wonderful. We were only able to stay one night both times so we parked on the street out front of the inn. They even payed the parking meter for us...... Can't say enough about this wonderful place.
Thank you for the lovely review. We do hope you'll continue with tradition and stay with us next annivesary as well so that we can make each year even better than the last!

Joy and Andrew, as well as their entire staff, could not be more customer-focused. They thought of everything. There is not one suggestion that we could offer to improve on their hospitality. Because we are frequent “bed and breakfast-ers”, we have a vast array of experience. Our stay at the Bayfront Wescot House could not have been more enjoyable. In fact, it was tremendous! The location is ideal for walking the bay and historic and shopping sections of St. Augustine, breakfast and Hors d'œuvres were both scrumptious and plentiful, and the rooms were beautiful, quiet, cozy and comfy. Don’t look anywhere else – you’ll get it all at the Bayfront Wescott House for a great value!

Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners who were very cordial. It took only minutes to be shown our beautiful room. All antique furniture with modern ammenities. Very helpful staff. Provided a cocktail hour with wonderful snacks. Given a breakfast menu that left nothing to be desired. Breakfast was served either in the small inside dining area, on the terrace or in the garden. The view of the bay from the terrace and garden were lovely. The staff was excellent and knowledgable.
Our primary objective is to coordinate your every wish and spoil you every second. Happy to know that we succeeded. Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to post a review!

After extensive research, I chose Bayfront Westcott House and was far from disappointed with my decision. On the first day in town, I noticed all the other bed and breakfast places that I had seen online and none of them compared to the charm, beauty, and location. As beautiful and as well preserved are most of the buildings and inns throughout St Augustine, the Bayfront Westcott House shines above the rest. It is a short walking distance to everything to do in the historic city and just across the street from the marina. It is just close enough to seem next door to all the excitement but just far enough to be lost in a romantic paradise filled with the most comfortable beds and incredible jacuzzi tubs. I can not say enough about the beauty and charm of this place. The staff and owners of the Bayfront Westcott House are so nice and all seem to want to make you feel right at home. Well, a home where you are treated like kings and the rooms just seem to clean themselves in the blink of an eye while you are having some of the most tasteful and elegant breakfasts you can imagine. No one was every in the way but was always there if you needed or wanted something. I would like to especially thank Jeanne who was always very sweet and helpful and always seemed to be there no matter the time of day or night. Also thank you to Angie, for the initial phone call that made the decision to stay at the Bayfront Westcott House for me. She described the place with such love and southern charm and even provided tips for other things to do that I knew that even if I could save a few dollars somewhere else it would not be worth it. My wife and I both never once regretted staying at the Bayfront Westcott House. Our only regret was that time could not stand still and our 5 days had to end. We highly recommend the Wescott House and hope to stay there again some day. We wish the owners and staff continued success. Chris and Michelle. Rock Hill,SC

The Westcott House has it all, on the Matanzas Bay, historical but comfortable, a location to go within in a block to all of the sites in St. Augustine - which is one of the hidden secrets for "old town" discovery, great for walking, can park your car. Ride in a trolley around the entire 20 blocks, a horse drawn carriage in the day or evening. Wonderful breakfasts each day, a balcony with swings to view the sun come up and the moon light the bay. Truly a great place!
Sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed your St. Augustine stay! We thank you for your review and hope you will visit with us again.

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary at the Westcott House. We spent 3 incredible evenings in the Isabella room. We have never been to a bed and breakfast, and after staying here we do not think that any other will compare. The food was delicious and the staff was a few notches above anything we have ever experienced. Normally, we stay in 4 star hotels for our trips so our expectations were high! I highly recommend the Bayfront Westcott house to anyone that enjoys a relaxing atmosphere and friendly people. We cannot wait to stay again!
You've made us blush. We are delighted that you were so delighted and thank you for the accolade. We look forward to your return visit and spoiling you even more!

My wife and I have stayed at the Westcott house for our aniversary two years running. We already have plans on making it three. We have stayed in different rooms, and both were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, taking time to answer questions and tell stories. They make you feel at home! I can't forget to mention the breakfast, and the free happy hour of beer, wine, cheese and crackers. This B&B is a must see and I would recomend it for anyone staying one night or one week! Corey & Meredith Hazen
You know what they say ... third time is a charm! By then, we'll have another renovated room for you to experience, more activities, more food, and more stories! One thing that will not change, though, will be the thrill of having you celebrate yet another anniversary with us!

I visited with my husband for a long weekend anniversary retreat. We had a fantastic time during our stay. The location is perfect, close to everything (attractions, shopping and dining). The property is beautiful, rooms are comfy and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the oversized jacuzzi tub. My favorite thing was being able to see dolphins playing in the bay while we enjoyed breakfast on the porch. The service was exceptional! Joy & Andrew were very friendly and helpful with arranging reservations, directions, etc.... In fact, all the staff was exceptional! We look forward to another visit at the Bayfront Westcott House, hopefully soon.
At the risk of repeating ourselves in response to such wonderful reviews, hospitality has been our business for many, many, many years, and we really love providing what we hope will be a truly fantastic experience for all of our guests. We very much appreciate those of you who go home and take the time to write such wonderful reviews about us. It tickles us to know we have succeeded in treating our guests as the individuals they are and it keeps us on our toes for incoming guests. We hope that you indeed will visit us at Westcott House again so that we have another opportunity to provide you with a fabulously pampered St. Augustine experience.

My wife and I are from New England and now reside in San Diego Ca. We come to Florida from time to time to vist friends from NE and on our recent visit, stayed at the Bayfront Westcott House B&B in St. Augustine. Joy and Andrew Warren have brought immeasureable wealth of Service, Atmosphere and Relaxation to the St. Augustine area. Their abundant knowledge of food preparation, presentation and wine selection is well appreciated by both clientele staying at the B&B and from walkin in referrals. The staff are quick to acknowledge patrons and to take care of all your needs. Relaxing on a porch swing, watching boats traverse the bay, taking a stroll through old St. Augustine or just enjoying the afternoon faire and wine made for a very enjoyable stay at the Bayfront Westcott House. We highly recommend a stay there when you visit the St. Augustine area.

I was looking for a special place to host my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and stumbled upon this gem when my husband and I were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary. The rooms are beautiful! The view from the porch while eating breakfast is amazing. And the innkeepers.....are unbelievable! Joy and Andrew provided much needed support as we planned for my parents memorable weekend....and upon my parents' arrival they made them feel so special. They even secretly assissted us as we orchestrated a huge family surprise! My parents are still talking about the amazing weekend they had at the Westcott House!

Absolutely love Westcott House- from the beautiful rooms to the amazing, personalized breakfasts, then to the classy evening snacks, this place is top notch. The owners go above & beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible, yet above the norm. I will return for sure. Joy & Andrew and all of the staff are to be commended for their commitment to be the best. Did I mention the views? The courtyard? The many waterfront porches? The luxury bed linens and towels? Awesome!
Such kind words always inspire us. Thank you for visiting and thank you for the wonderful review. We look forward to making your next visit even more wonderful!

Spent the Thanksgiving holiday at the Bayfront Westcott and it was wonderful. Joy and Andrew couldn't have been nicer and were wonderful hosts. Always asking if you needed or wanted anything whenever you saw them and always had a smile for you. When we left we felt like we had made new friends. We were in Abigail's room which was in the back of the house and very peaceful. We still had a nice view of the bay and could hear the clip clop of the horses as they went by the back road. The bathroom was gorgeous, I'd like it at home, whirlpool tub and separate shower. We'll be back for sure.

This was an awesome experience. The staff was so kind and ready to serve. They pointed out the things that were included with the stay. They treated us like we were very special! The food was excellent. The parking was FREE. (a little far, but not too bad). The room was beautiful, clean and felt like it was our own home. It was nice being able to pick the time you wanted to have your breakfast and to choose what you wanted to eat and drink. I just wasn't sure how to get the staff's attention at times when we needed something, but once they saw me needed them, they were more than ready to serve.

What a wonderful place. This was the first time my husband and I had ever stayed in a bed and breakfast and we will never stay in another hotel. The location is perfect if you are looking for something within walking distance of everything downtown. The parking lot is several blocks away from the Inn, but the staff is nice enough to feed the parking meter until it is convenient for you to move your car. For us, it was until the next day. The room was incredle. Everything was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! I can't even say enough about the staff. They were all very kind and very helpful. They were great with recommending things to do and places to eat since this was our first visit to St Augustine. We will absolutely return to this bed and breakfast should we visit St Augustine again

I do not normally write reviews of lodging facilities, but this one merits an exception. The owners, their staff and their facility are exemplary. My wife and I were part of a group of 7 couples of former military officers who served together in a small unit nearly 50 years ago. We now gather annually in widely scattered places. Joy and Andrew went far beyond any reasonable expectation to make our gathering, comfortable and enjoyable with all kinds of advice and assistance. Their staff is nothing short of incredible and I consider myself to be a "hard grader". I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I highly recommend this property for your next getaway; you will not be disappointed! Our experience at the Bayfront Westcott House was extraordinary! No detail is over-looked at this incredible property and the staff is without equal in both professionalism and friendliness. The breakfast was excellent and you absolutely should try the breakfast in bed - or take it out on the balcony like we did! We also really enjoyed the Bayfront's very cool social/happy hour with a great layout of beer, wine and Hors d'oeuvres. As a small business owner myself, I can usually tell when owners are closely involved with a business and it is certainly the case here. You can just feel the difference. Proprietors Joy and Andrew truly love what they do and you will notice immediately. I just can't imagine a better place to stay in St. Augustine.

We recently celebrated our 15th anniversary at the Bayfront Westcott House and found it to be as wonderful as it had been on our honeymoon when we last visited. Andrew, Joy and the staff all came together to provide an "experience" instead of just a "stay". One night was definitely not enough at this wonderful place where casual elegance seems to be the theme. We enthusiastically recommend the Bayfront Westcott House!

We decided to combine the trip with our desire to finally have a long-awaited honeymoon. We were fortunate to have chosen a time that allowed for perfect weather. And we were smart enough to have found the PERFECT location to stay. The Westcott House provided just what we were looking for. The room was to die for, and I can't say enough about the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! We had gourmet french style breakfast every morning, along with mimosas. I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Bayfront Wescott House B & B. It was absolutely outstanding. After a 14 hour drive, we were greeted with wine and cheese and smiles from owner, Joy and staff person Jeanne. Our room, the Esmerelda, was perfect for a girls getaway. The history of St. Augustine has an untold influence on the development of the United States.

In my opinion, if you want to get the most bang for your buck, book Allison's loft. It is the largest room and is one of the least expensive rooms. You get a king sized bed and a jacuzzi. Plus, you are in the attic so you are the only room on that level and nobody is above you or on either side of you. You get a gorgeous window view of the intracoastal as well as another window view of the back of the house.

The room was lovely, clean and nicely decorated, the bathroom very nice and the inn itself very handily located just a block or two from the centre of town. Breakfast was a main plate with a number of options which we got to select the night before, and both days we ate outside on the veranda, looking out over the bay. The proprietors were very friendly, and sat us down at the start to give us a quick overview of the city and the facilities available. Andrew clearly marked up a city map showing us where things were and I carried that map through the two-day stay. He also made two excellent suggestions for supper, so all in all it was a great stay.

My husband took me for my 40th Birthday. The horse carriage ride through the city, champagne breakfast in bed or having breakfast on the patio while the sun comes up over the bay is very romantic.

what a wonderful experience at the Westcott House. The owners were great and fulfilled all our requests from restaurnat recommendations to a massage in the room. We had a great time and look forward to our return. The breakfasts each morning were scrumptious and the afternoon snacks tasty! sitting outside with a glass of wine and watching the bay was everything we wanted this weekend. Have fun and enjoy!

The location right on the bay, the food, the room, the attention to detail, but most of all the innkeepers and staff that made it all happen, made this a great experience for us.

Joy and Andrew were friendly and gracious hosts. J&A made great reccommendations on local restaurants and attractions. They even fed the meter during our stay! The antique wardrobe and post bed made Rebecca's room beautiful and unique. St Augustine and the Bayfront Westcott will always be a special place for us. We got engaged on the beach during our stay. I'm sure we will return for another visit and there is no question where we will be staying.

We spent a romantic Valentine weekend at the Westcott B&B and it was without a doubt the best experience we've ever had. The owner provided wine and cheese one night and the room was beautiful and comfortable and very private. We loved the porch swing outside our door. We could walk all over town and the restaurant sent a car for us for our dinner transportation. the breakfast was wonderful, albeit too much food. we would choose less next time. I can only imagine how wonderful this place would be in the spring when you can eat outside on the porch. we will have to go back again to experience that and more. you can't go wrong with the Westcott house.

If you are planning a trip to St. Augustine I would include the Wescott House as one of your first choices for a truly memorable and comfortable stay. It is a great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable with gorgeous bay views. Breakfast was very good and the evening cocktail parties were an added treat where you could enjoy a quiet glass of wine and cheese or socialize and meet new friends. Joy and Jean are a great team who can't do enough to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Just an excellent B&B experience.

We highly recommend the Bayfront Westcott House Bed & Breakfast. We stayed there this past weekend. Joy and Andrew are so warm and loving. They took great care to make sure our weekend was wonderful, even when some unexpected things happened on our end they went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel at home. We took a tour of each room at the inn before we left and have decided that although our room was lovely we will stay in the Isabella room next time as the 2nd floor front porch has the best view!! Every single room is nice. This will, from now on, be our place to stay in St. Augustine! -Dale and Alison Cody

Joy and Andrew Warren gave us a memorable experience at the Bayfront Westcott House. With Joy's recommendations and and friendly service, we had a wonderful wedding in the parlor. She recommended the minister, photographer and flower shop and everything turned out beautifully. The rooms were beautiful and the staff was friendly. We definately recommend staying here.

Clean room - very comfy and exactly as advertised on website. Staff was friendly and helpful. I lived in St. Augustine some 20+ years ago as a kid and it was nice to be pointed in the right direction in terms of sights and dining spots. The "happy hour" was a nice touch - A+ Food was so-so, but I live in NYC and am a bit of a food snob considering what I have available right outside my door here in the city - so take my criticism with a grain of salt. All-in-all, very enjoyable stay... will go again next time I'm in town!

Perfect B&B we showed up without a reservation and there were rooms available with no problem. Beautiful view and perfect location to walk anywhere you would want to see in St. Augustine. I would highly recommend this!

After staying at a Bed and Breakfast, the idea of a "hotel" is so unappealing. Staff was wonderful and so accomadating. Room was beautiful and very comfortable. We felt so at home but the time went by way too fast. Would love to stay here(longer) again-highly recommended.

I spent the most unbelievable weekend with my partner here for my birthday. It was truly the special and relaxing experience we were both hoping for. The staff is absolutely wonderful and very welcoming and kind, they truly make you feel like family here and I have no doubts that we will be back quite frequently for several special events. This Inn is a must experience!

St. Augustine is just 90 minutes from out home yet it remains a favorite get-away. The dining and sightseeing are incomparable but the Wescott House(where we have stayed several times) makes it all worthwhile. It is truly like coming home. The service, the rooms, the hospitality and the homecooked meals are outstanding. Don't miss it!

We set out for our vacation to be relaxing and that it certain was thanks to the Bayfront Wescot house! The staff was kind and hospitable. The rooms were clean and had every small ementity that I usually have to bring because it is not usually provided. We will not only continue to come back, but will refer to friends and family!

My husband and I decided we wanted a little break in the preparations for the holidays. The Bayfront Westcott was the perfect place for a break. The Inn is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, the food is excellent! Breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed the Happy Hour wine and cheese (the asaigo cheese spread was yummy!) and the desserts. Joy was gracious and always looking for ways to make our stay nicer. We will be back!

The Westcott Bayfront Inn was wonderful. You are greeted so warmly and the service provided is so efficient and done so quietly. The clean and lovely rooms, antiques, the entire atmosphere is so welcoming. Can't wait to go again.

Great overnight getaway from Jacksonville. The cleanliness of the rooms and the overall service were very good. The made to order breakfast was excellent! The Inn is conveniently located close to everything downtown making it easy to tour the Christmas lights and decorations. We will definitely return.

My Mother and I enjoyed a wonderful 2-night stay at the Westcott House. Joy and Andrew and all their staff were absolutely wonderful hosts and were so welcoming and kind. Our room was beautiful, as was the Inn itself. We loved the little touches... a happy hour on the side porch of the Inn, where we were treated to wine and snacks, and were able to chat and meet with the other guests... and a lovely breakfast too. The Inn is located right near the centre of St. Augustine, so we were able to park the car and go by foot everywhere. We will definitely be going back to the Westcott!!!

...Only a few words to describe our 5 night stay at Bayfront Westcott. From the first minute to the last, it is abundantly evident the guest(s) are the priority, and every need or request is met with an earnest, gracious and most pleasing effort to making the stay relaxing, pampered and memorable. The breakfasts are extraordinary, and wine/cheese, desserts an added "plus" every day. Perfect Bayfront location, away from the noises and the crowds of Historic downtown, yet close enough to walk to all points of interests and restaurants. Above the tangible beauty and assets is the very class, warmth and heart of this home being the owners Joy and Andrew, and their staff, the entire Nemeth family. It would seem a difficult task to find another B&B that could measure up to the wonderful, perfect experience of staying at the Bayfront Wescott, in St. Augustine, or anywhere else.

This was my first real getaway I've taken in several years and I chose well. Joy and Andrew and all of their staff treated my like family as soon as I walked in. Since this was my first time in St. Augustine, Joy took the time to recommend several places of interest. The location of the Bayfront Westcott House couldn't have been more convenient and the delicious breakfast on the patio was a glorious way to start one's day while the evening's wine and cheese gathering is a great means to meet other guests and just simply unwind. My room was wonderful and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. When one of my friends asked me if I would return, I just had say, "in a heartbeat."

My wife and I stayed at The Bayfront Westcott House last week and it was wonderful! The real surprise is the quality of the food. The breakfasts were wonderful and the addition of a wine and cheese tasting at the end of the day was great as well. We can't think of a thing that could be improved. We'll go back again.

We stayed in the Elisa Maria room with a private balcony. We enjoyed the room, the view, and the solitude of the bed and breakfast. There really are sounds of horse and carriage going by the B&B. Andrew, Joy, and Dora were very nice and accomadating with whatever needs we had.

Our stay at the Bayfront Westcott House was perfect. The innkeepers were so genuinely friendly and concerned that our stay would be perfect. We loved the room (and it was one of the smaller rooms) and the location on the bay. Walking into town was so easy and there was no way to improve on the lovely view. We enjoyed the happy hour so much. Guests were friendly, the wine and food were excellent, and Dora (the night staff) and all the folks on breakfast duty were just great. I've never had a more pleasant B & B stay. What a wonderful place to stay in a wonderful city. I recommend it to anyone, young or old. Thanks to all there who made our stay so pleasant.

Not only is Bayfront Westcott lovely and in a great location, the innkeepers offer a nice bonus with breakfast -- you can dine at your own table for two on the porch, in a courtyard, or in a dining room -- AND at the time of your choosing! Breakfast starts with an entree and you can add a number of items as you wish -- fruit, coffee, toast, cereal, etc. They also provide a generous and convivial happy hour with wine, beer, and cheese. Everyone, from the innkeepers to the staff, are warm, inviting, accommodating, and professional. There are plenty of nice B&Bs in St. Augustine, but we'll return to Bayfront Westcott.

It was the most fun "getaway" we'd had in a long time. We ate our way through St. Augustine and would come "home" to elegant desserts and very pleasant innkeepers. The breakfasts were served in high fashion with plenty to eat and all of the staff treated us so royally. Just what we needed. I hope to go back real soon and would highly recommend Bayfront Westcott to everyone. Jean and Laurie

Our overall experience was outstanding. The innkeepers were excellent, so very nice and so attentive. The staff was incredible, the food was delicious and our room was so clean, and so beautifully decorated. And best of all the location and the water view was out of this world.

Joy greeted us with genuine courtesy and met our most immediate need (metered parking) with a pocket full of change; what a charming start to our stay at the Westcott! It only advanced to a broader appreciation for their hospitality when what we wanted for breakfast, and the time we preferred service was an election we left them before retiring each night; they customized their preparations around our plans and schedule! Our room was fully appointed with an assortment of creature comforts, the colors were clean and refreshing, and the Terrace/Courtyard dining option brought the bayfront breezes and fresh color arrangements right to our table! We will most certainly return again!!

Our second time staying here, first with the new owners. We felt like family al weekend long. Starting with putting money in the parking meter, to carrying our luggage to our room....upstairs. They always said hello, and asked how our day was going when we came back. I couldnt think of a better location, and al the work they are doing makes the place better than it was. We will definitely be back, and will recommend it to all our friends.

The bed and breakfast experience at it's best! We have stayed in bed and breakfast places across the country and our experience at the Westcott House was wonderful. The room was beautiful and unique, and our our hosts gracious and accommodating. We really enjoyed the wine and cheese before going out for an evening on the town in the horse drawn carriage arranged by our hosts, Joy and Andrew. We'll be back next year!!! Just spent two absolutely wonderful nights at the Westcott. The whole staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. Can't say enough about how perfect everything was - you really need to experience it for yourself. Can't wait for our next visit. Breakfast was outstanding, and the rooms exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a memorable get-away.
