Romance on the waterfront - the theme of our inn newly renovated to consider all of the amenities conducive to romance. King and queen pillowtop beds, double candlelit jacuzzis and separate showers, views of the bay from the rooms, from our many porches and our courtyard. Sip complementary wine and watch the sailboats glide, the dolphin swim and the horse and carriages clip-clop by. Or walk hand in hand along the sea wall past the beautiful Bridge of Lions to the historic fort, Castillo de San Marco.

    Part of the view from one of our many porches where you can enjoy complementary breakfast, happy hour beer or wine, and watch the dolphin, sailboats and horse and carriages go by.Enjoy complementary evening wine or beer on any of our decks, porches or gazebo.  Bay views are magnificent.
    Our Second Floor Porch is another popular spot for weddings.  The view is spectacular and the sea breeze always present.Marin Has Wrap Around Porches, all with views of the beautiful Matanzas Bay.
    The King George Room offers queen bed, double jacuzzi in the room, separate shower in the bath, electric fireplace, widescreen TV, many windows with direct bay views.  Private area of the porch looking directly out over the porch.  Many honeymooners choose this room for romantic memories.
    The Governor White Room offers a king bed, double jacuzzi in the room, separate shower in the bath, bay views, hardwood floors, access to the second floor porch with seating areas looking out over the bay.Serene and elegant, Hopkins Cottage offers bay window, queen bed, double jacuzzi in the room, separate shower in the bath - a favorite of young couples.
    Double whirlpool baths are available in many of the Marin Houses' romance filled rooms.  Candlelight and memories to offer the one you love.  The Francisco Marin Room offers a king bed, double jacuzzi/shower in the bath, electric fireplace, fine antiques and tile floors.  It is a favorite of our romantic couples.
    Our Lyndsay Michelle Suite, (Now has the original hardwood floors refinished in 2008), provides a family suite with one king bed in one room and a full bed in the second room.  Bath has double jacuzzi/shower.  Electric fireplace.  Entry has french doors with bay views.  Private area of the porch has seating with magnificent bay views.  Many of our brides pick this room with room for dressing and getting ready for the wedding.  Burgess Cottage offers you a suite with double jacuzzi and separate shower, electric fireplace, fine antiques and original hardwood floor, and queen bed.
    Romance is the theme, and we want our guests to feel warm and cozy.  Many of our rooms offer electric fireplaces - your safety is our concern, and electric is safest in these antique buildings in the heart of the historic district of old St. Augustine.
    Views of the beautiful Matanzas Bay from every porch.  Some private-there are so many, there is always a quiet, private area for you to enjoy.
